Hall's Drywall & Painting

Everything went really well. Everything was fixed and done appropriately, and I was really happy with their service. The guy was great.

The Hall's crew was a little late in arriving on the first day since they were delayed in wrapping up a prior job. This wasn't much of a problem since I work from my house, but it ended up making our total job a three day project when I think their original expectation had been for only two days. Still, they did not rush the work and made sure everything was done with care and diligence. The final result was excellent and I would certainly recommend the company to other Angie's List members.

The estimator was professional and courteous and arrived on time. Overall a good experience, just too high an estimate.

Hall's provided an estimate slightly higher than two others; however, they presented themselves much more professionally. My observation has always been that a company begins as they intend to go and that is how Hall's performed. There were no hiccups or expectations, they cleaned up after themselves, and the workers were very professional. My only suggestion would be to have the "site," or project manager show-up other than at the beginning of the job. In addition, we had some minor communication issues with the owner via email, but nothing that prevented a smooth transaction.

My experience with Hall was fantastic. Rick provided me with a thorough estimate and helpful information and recommendations on other various aspects of my basement's problems. Eric and Tony, the team who performed my work, were hardworking, polite, and thorough. I'd been fearing this basement demolition project for years, but Hall's made this project go as smoothly as possible.

It went terrific. After Hall's removed our drywall, we all saw how horrible the framing was done by the prior homeowners. I contracted with Hall's to also remove the wooden framing. Eric was professional and hardworking. Eric and Rick pointed out items that I needed to be aware of with regard to the project and kept me informed of relevant issues which naturally result from this type of demolition (impact on electrical, window framing, etc.). They provided excellent results and also gave me help with referrals for other future projects not within their expertise (e.g., waterproofing & electrical). I look forward to hiring Hall's again when we're ready for new framing, drywall and painting in the basement.

I used a ten percent off coupon. They were about thirty minutes late. They took two hours to complete the job. They quoted two and a half hours. They did a good job. I would use them again in the future if needed.

We had a new sump system installed in our basement a couple of months ago, and the waterproofing company had to cut out the bottom two feet of an entire wall of drywall in our mostly finished basement. This meant that the wall in our small bathroom, the den, and the wall in between the bathroom and the den had to be repaired. We got an estimate from Hall's and one other company. Hall's came in slightly lower, and they seemed very competent. They had expected the work to take 2-3 days, but Eric Sr. and Jr. showed up at 7:30 on Friday morning and worked until 8:30 that night to complete the work in one day. They also made several trips to Home Depot when the paint colors were slightly off to make sure everything was perfect. They were communicative about what they were doing, efficient, polite, and paid close attention to detail. They really took pride in their work. The walls look perfect! It's impossible to tell that it they were once cut in half, and the paint matches exactly. I've already scheduled for them to do more work in our house, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Rick's crew was exceptional. Highly professional and polite. Arrived on time. Kept my home and belongings safe and clean - even after sanding. No one could possible find where the patches and touch-up painting were done. Finished the job under estimate. They deserve their high ratings. Will definitely use again.

They were very professional. The owner was nice. He came out to give us a bid. He followed up with the work. They were very responsive.

Scheduled an estimate for Saturday February 25th between 10am and 2pm. Received a call from Hall's around 8am that morning but i wasn't home to answer it and no message was left. Called them back twice that morning to see if we were still on but nobody answered. No one ever showed up. Needless to say i wasn't happy wasting part of my Saturday wondering if they were going to show up or not. I used this company before for drywall repair and they were great. Not sure what happened this time.

Made an appointment. waited 2 1/2 hours. No one showed or called. When I called them, I was told he call and find out what happened and call back to reschedule. 10 days later I've not heard back frome anyone. Mr. Hall called me the next week and made an appointment. He arrived on time and gave me an estimate. He scheduled the work for three days later. The man arrived on time . He did an excellent job. When he finished, he cleaned up. This was a great experience. Thanks for the great job.

JR was professional, trustworthy, very talented and pleasant to work with as he gave sound advice. I would and will recommend Hall's Drywall & Painting and especially JR to all my friends.

We requested a quote and Rick (the owner) arrived at exactly on time. He did a thorough walk thru with us to determine what we needed. We received our estimate promptly the next day, and were very pleased with the price. Work was able to start the following week. Joel and crew did a wonderful job painting. Our walls look GREAT, especially around the baseboard trim and ceiling lines. We also had Hall's paint our oak cabinets white. This did take several coats of primer and paint to accomplish, but the results were worth it! The cabinets look like new cabinets, but for a fraction of the cost. We are having our flooring replaced after the initial painting and Hall's will be returning to do touch up work for us, which is INCLUDED in the price paid. Hall's did a wonderful job. They were prompt, professional, and competitively priced, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for interior painting.

Rick and his crew did a fine job. Came when they said they would, did the work, cleaned up, and left. They completely covered the floor and screened the ajoining rooms to eliminate dust. They also put down a plastic runner on the floor from the front door to the work area. After a couple of months, a few nail pops appeared. Rick willingly had an employee come and repair the pops at no additional charge. I wouldn't hire anyone else for drywall.

We received several estimates for painting our newly finished basement (to include 2 different paint colors for the living room and bedroom and bathroom in the space). We only sought quotes from highly rated businesses on Angie's. Hall's by far gave us the best price for the job, they were able to begin immediately, and the final "product" looks great. Rick was very responsive and his team was professional and punctual. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking to get painting done and won't hesitate to use them again in the future!

We had a 4 inch wide drywall hole in our furnished basement that need to be mended. I called Hall's Drywall painting for the estimate and found them reasonable. I was scheduled for a visit after 4 days. On the day of appointment, the repairman was promptly on time. He immediately started prepping up after taking a look at what he was dealing with. He nicely laid down plastic on the carpet taped up to avoid any damage, applied the patch repair kit, speckled the surface multiple times to get neat finish. I had saved up some of the paint that he used to repaint the area and I must say that the job was immaculate. Even my wife (who has a very sharp attention to detail, I must say) was not able to make out the difference. Overall I was very happy with the quality of work and would recommend Hall'sDrywall and Painting to others.

Hall's drywall did a fantastic job in every aspect of the job requested of them except for cleaning up the mistakes made when the owner (me) did a poor job initally of installing drywall. The walls they put up themselves were done well and are smooth and seamless. We had new carpet installed a few months prior and they were very careful to protect it from any damage done during the work. Once the drywall in these areas was done the area was smooth and ready for painting. An additional request that seemed to be missed or forgotten was to smooth the corners out that had been previously done so that they too could be ready to paint. The walls were still very rough and needed additional care to get ready to paint. To be fair, I did a terrible job on my first attempt at drywalling, but one of the reasons I had hired them was to finish the job and correct the original mistakes. The ceiling they did was fantastic. The patterns are beautiful and once I painted it white it really popped out.

I initiated the phone contact after consulting Angie's List. Mr. Hall visited on-site to provide an estimate. He even reminded us of the AL discount. His employees did the work. Cleanup was good. Bill provided via e-mail.

Hall's was one of a few contractors we contacted for estimates. Eric Hall came out quickly after my initial call, to look at the job and give us an estimate. The price he quoted us was lower than the other formal estimate we got, by quite a bit, so we went with them. It was a two-day job, with one day in between to let the compound dry properly. Overall, it was a nice experience working with Hall's. Their two-man crew did good work and were easygoing but professional. I let them in in the morning to get started and then left for work, because I felt comfortable leaving them alone in the house. When the job was done, they picked up the check I'd left for them, locked the door behind them and that was that. I was pleased with the quality of the work, especially considering the reasonable price we paid, and I'd definitely hire them in the future.

They came in on time and worked quickly and thoroughly to get the work done within the day. The two men were also very friendly and didn't mind me coming down occasionally to check on them. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of their services.

Called on a Wednesday and was able to get an appointment on Friday. The technician arrived on time and put down drop clothes to contain any mess. He repaired an area in my powder room where an electrician had move a couple of switches and an outlet as well as a couple other areas around the house that needed attention. The patch work he did looked really good and I was glad I didn't attempt it myself. He did three layers of compound and let each one dry in between coats. When he was working around one of the electrical boxes he noticed that the romex was nicked in a couple of areas and pointed it out so I could fix it before he sealed everything up. This was a fire hazard and I'm gratefully that he found it! He cleaned up after himself and was very professional. I will defiantly do business with this company in the future. Their local and for the amount of work he did the price was lower than I expected.

It went GREAT from start to finish. When I called I left a message that was promptly returned and an appointment for the estimate was scheduled. Eric was prompt, courteous, and professional. Soon after that I received a written proposal, then a call to schedule the work. As for the work itself, I wish I had taken before and after pictures. I couldn't believe how quickly Eric worked, and what a great job he did. He made sure all other areas of the house were protected as much as possible from dust and debris. All repaired areas look wonderful. I would definitely use this company again.

I had drywall damage which I wanted to get fixed ASAP. I contacted Hall's via email and they quickly responded. Rick was back within 2 days to do an estimate, and came back later in the week to do the actual work. Theydid a great job - very high quality work with no mess left behind.
