Hall's Drywall & Painting

Estimate schedule was prompt and Mr. Hall arrived on time and ready to discuss the work. He provided the estimate soon after the visit. The work day was scheduled soon after and the workers arrived early in the morning as promised, worked through the day and kept dust to a minimum. Their cleanup was excellent and left their areas in great condition. The quality of the work was also very good.

We have used them before. They charged $3600 for it. It was just high quality. We will use them in the future if needed to.

The team worked quickly and did a great job. One area of patching was not as smooth as I wished so they reskimmed and repainted. In the end it looked nice.

The price was fair. They were quick in getting the stuff done, so that was pretty good. The quality of work was good; they did a good job. They were a little more expensive than some of the other guys I had called. They took the quote and they were supposed to give me a call back of when to schedule it. The guy didn't verify my contact information, so I had to call him back because he didn't have my number. He should have taken the time to double check the contact information. I didn't like that I had to call them back to check to find out when they were going to do the work. When they finally scheduled their appointment, they were here when they said they were going to be here. If I need more work, I would definitely give them a call.

I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Oscar, the drywall finishing expert, was a very hard worker. He arrived early and stayed late. He was a perfectionist and made our basement look outstanding. Overall I was very pleased and would highly recommend this ompany.

I have an unfinished one car garage I wanted painted. I called and got an estimate over the phone. They showed up promptly but without the necessary product. They knew they would need drywall mud but had to go to Home Depot to get it, wasting two hours. They underestimated the time necessary to complete the job by a day. They also underestimated the cost by $200. With all this in mind, I'm very pleased with the results! They did a very professional job and I'm impressed with the quality. The time and cost estimate problem was probably just as much my fault as I probably didn't explain how much work would be required to get the drywall in painting condition. I'm very happy with the company and would happily use them again.

The Hall's team did a great job painting the interior of our condo. We decided to get a quote from them because we saw the military coupon on Angie's List and the quote was very competitive. We also appreciate that they were able to squeeze us in- the work started two days after the estimate and was completed quickly. The workers were very polite and they did a great job. We are very satisfied and would use Hall's again. Definitely recommend!

Everything went great overall, from the estimate to the painter arriving on time to the work being completed in excellent fashion. I would definitely recommend using Hall Drywall and Paint. Great company. We will be using them again in the future.

Exceptional professionalism and clean up!

The worker arrived early and the supervisor arrived exactly on time. Worked continuously until finished. They took extra precautions to cover my carpeting and wood floors to protect them.

Halls Drywall and Painting hung drywall, trimmed, primed and final painted over 1550 square feet for us. The process from the beginning was simple and efficient. Richard provided a very quick and fair quote. He was ready to begin the day that we accepted his bid. All of his teams were professional and courteous. They were very tidy in all of their work. The final paint looks great and we are quite pleased with the final product. I would recommend this company to anyone and would use them again. Made life easy for us.

The first step in the process was getting an estimate. I contacted Hall's Drywall & Painting via email in the evening and got a response later that night. We set up a time for the estimator (Tony) to come by to inspect the damage. He arrived a few minutes early and it finished the estimate in about 10-15 minutes. The estimate was for a "worst case scenario". Since there was possible water damage it was difficult to give an exact estimate without cutting open the existing ceiling. We set up a date and time for the work to be done. The crew showed up a few minutes early and got to work covering my floors and counter tops. The kitchen had to have the drywall removed and replaced. After the set up was complete one crew member went in to the attic and moved all the blown insulation so the ceiling could be cut away. They collected most of the blown insulation that fell out of the ceiling in trash bags and put them back in the attic. They installed a new piece of drywall and even matching the stippling (textured ceiling) perfectly. The other area fortunately was able to be repaired without having to remove any drywall. Again they matched the existing texture perfectly. After the job was complete, the total paid was less than the estimate.

Epic fail. I made an appointment a week in advance for Mr. Hall to come at 3pm for the estimate. He called the night before to say he and his crew would be at my house at 7am to start the work. When I informed him we had only discussed an estimate, he was put off. He arrived a little late for the estimate appointment the next day, looked around the house at the work and then left without giving an estimate, telling my wife he would call me with the price. He never called the follow up. Three days later I called he to get the price and he had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. After five minutes of that, he tossed out an estimate of hours it might take, but no price. He kept saying that he would email me a quote but never bothered to ask for my email address in any of our conversations. I never heard back and the work is still undone. He says no job is too small, but I don't think that is the case. Clearly, I wasn't worth his time.

Rick's team showed up on time, worked hard, and were polite. They called if they were running a few minutes late or if there were any changes to what we discussed. Rick inspected the work at several points during the project. Overall, the quality was great. We would use Hall's Drywall again.

They did a great job a few weeks ago on the exterior of my rental property so we decided to use them for the exterior of our primary residence as well. He provided a very reasonable estimate within one day of my inquiry and we decided to move forward with it. We are very pleased with the end product and the professionalism of the painters. When they started the first day, we walked around the house with the painters to make sure we were all on the same page for the work that needed to be done. They started the work and completed within a couple days. A cheap exterior light was broken when they were painting and when I mentioned it to Rick Hall, he was adamant that he provide the money to allow us to replace it. So gave us $100 off the final bill to cover the light, even though the light cost around $30 (which he was aware of). I really appreciated that they went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied.

The next day a different crew arrived to tape and begin finishing the drywall. This took a couple of days as the mud had to dry in between applications, and then sanded. After that, the priming was done.We couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Hall's Drywall and Painting. The crews were punctual and professional and their work was excellent. We were very comfortable leaving them alone in our home to work, and they always locked up when they left. They left our home as clean as possible every day.The drywall is beautiful. There is an artistry to finishing drywall, and our basement is a work of art!We were so pleased with the finished drywall that we asked Rick to give us a quote to paint the ceilings and walls. His crew arrived and two coats were completed in one day.We can highly recommend Halls and will definitely call Rick the next time we need any drywall or painting done.

They called me back within an hour of contacting them. They started within days of my go ahead (by email). They came when they said they'd be there. They were fast on the job! They got there on time, accommodated my tight schedule, and used materials I had purchased (originally thinking I might do the job). They finished well before they said they would.

They were able to fit me into their schedule very fast and were done in three hours.

The painters did an excellent job on all parts of the job. My renters are very happy with the look of it and one of the neighbors called me asking if they could also use Hall's Drywall & Painting to get their exterior painted also. We are overall very pleased and I have no hesitation using them again for future work. They show up on time and complete the work in the timeframe they give during the estimate. In fact, I am planning on having the exterior of my single family home painted and am getting an estimate from them for that work too!

Great. Mr. Hall gave me an estimate range based on a picture I sent him. The actual cost came in slightly lower than the low estimate. They were able to come out by the end of the week and start work. My tenant was extremely impressed with the person performing the work (sorry -- can't remember his name). He said there was no damage to the sheetrock and he could probably just repaint it. I asked for him to actually take out the drywall because I wanted to inspect for any more leaks (there weren't any). Total work took about 13 man-hours plus $120 in materials. Rick Hall gave a special hourly rate for Angies List members. I would strongly recommend Halls Drywall & Painting in the future.
