Marcus arrived on time and quickly assessed details of networking needs. Proceeded to methodically establish links between all network components and demonstrate functionality. Provided advice on password and username choices that will make it easy to remember. He encountered problem involving lack of proper printer drivers for one of the printers, so went online and quickly downloaded needed drivers for the setup. Ran into additional problem involving keeping log-on in memory, so he researched on Microsoft site only to find it was a long-standing problem that nobody has yet solved. So, he devised a simple work-around for me to minimize the problem. All-in-all it was a very pleasant and instructional visit of approximately 3 hours, plus travel time. I will not hesitate to call him again for future needs.

This was our first experience with Around Town Computer and we were VERY pleased with results. Marcus had been referred to us by a friend who had used his support for several years. He arrived as sked and quickly assessed needs. Proceeded with work and completed effort efficiently and thoroughly. Very easy to work with and communicated well with layman computer users. He explained that much of he work he did on this initial visit could normally be done remotely to save travel time charges, and he installed remote support programs on both our computers to facilitate this in future. He also recommended changing our backup programs to simpler system that he can monitor easily if problems occur in future, so we elected to do that. We will certainly use his services again in the future.
