Good Ol Boyz Tree Service

We had the crew, led by Jaime, take down about 25 trees in our backyard. They did an excellent job and efficiently! We are impressed by how fast and professionally the crew worked! There was a climber who went up to those very tall poplars and 2 or three other guys on the ground to cut the trunks into sections. Then they used both a rider and muscle-pull to remove those pieces from the backyard to the chipper which parked on our driveway. Two other guys were by the chipper managing the loading and chipping. I would say the whole crew and task assignments to each individual totally made sense. There was no man power wasted and everyone worked very, very hard. On day one I ordered pizza for them but they had packed their own lunch and didn't eat much of the order. With just a short lunch break they went straight back to work. They took down all 25 trees (many of them were very tall!) in one day! The following day the crew came back to grind all the stumps. There were other old stumps left by previous residents, and they were willing to grind those down with a reasonable extra charge. I am glad they were able to do so to get the ground all cleared up. The crew lead, Jaime, communicated nicely without hassling. We also had them trim overgrown branches from neighbor's property reaching over the our driveway. Those branches were high but they did a very good job trimming. Jaime did the trimming work and he checked with us if those being trimmed back enough to our expectation and made modification. We appreciate that he checked and we were happy with the result. The price for the job was reasonable. It was well spent on the quality level the crew has performed. I noticed other reviews complained about leaving the debris behind. For us, this was communicated before the job started. Jaime, the crew lead. told us up front that they would haul and chip away all branches and trunk pieces, but there would be dust, pieces left from the grinding. Since this was communicated before we signed the agreement, we had no issue on this at all. In fact, they filled the debris back in the holes and smoothed out the remainder as much as they could, it didn't look bad at all. When all work was completed, while loading up their machine and crew and wrapping things up, they also cleaned up all small twigs and blew all messiness out of the driveway. I think they cleaned up very well. We are very happy with the crew, and we hired them back a month later to remove trees in the side yard as well. Again, the price was good, the crew was professional, and another job well done. We will recommend them to anyone who needs tree services.

They came to the door and and I walked them back to a tree that was leaning at 30 degrees. They offer to cut it down, haul it away, and clean up the mess. They asked for $1400, I countered at $1200 and came over 4 hours later (they said they were down the street a few blocks. Did a great job on the tree, hauled the pieces away. Use a monster stump grinder, showed up the next day and did a good job. What I didn't appreciate was the lead person lying to me when I asked them about the large 2 by 5 feet of mulch they left. I asked them to haul that away and he said oh no, wait for it to rain and it will settle into the hole, throw dirt on top and watch the grass grow. Yea, well 18 30 gallon bags later that I filled and hauled to the street to be taken away..... Everything else was fine.

They showed up on my doorstep on my Friday off. At first I was a bit annoyed, but the crew leader was super professional, and I was definitely interested in the free quote. I knew I needed some work done on this, but it was so far from my mind. We walked around my yard together, and decided that the four dead or nearly-dead trees in my front yard were a priority, and he offered to remove them for $1100, including hauling off the debris. It would not have been my first choice to do this immediately, but the price was right, so I agreed. His team got to work immediately. While the work was underway, we agreed to add on the extra items near the power lines. I was less sure about this, so I took a few minutes to confer with my roommate over the phone before giving the go ahead on that. I am an individualist at heart, and I wish I had asked the crew leader his name before he left. If I could, I would definitely like to convey to both his boss and his fiance that this guy is a keeper. He was super-respectful, professional, friendly, and humble. Kind of actually brings a little tear to my eye. I wish him the best. Anyway "Crew 2" (printed on the business card) did a fine job. There were no problems, and the work was performed as agreed. There was one particular stump that I wish had been cut a little lower, and the leader to his credit did offer. But I felt they had already provided a very good value for the price, so I did not take him up on it. I want to have that particular stump removed entirely anyway, so the effort was unnecessary. I would suggest to the business owner to get this guy his own cards if he is going to be with you longer than another six months. The members of "Crew 2" can change. And this is not rocket science anyway. Assuming the work is performed as agreed, customer service then becomes the most important thing.

They were very good. They were professional and courteous and did a great job and didn't try and up sell us.

This company has a bucket truck, which is great since I don't allow spiking to climb trees on my property. I was told they also have climbers so they have all the bases covered when it comes to tree service. They cleaned out a lot of dead branches in two trees, which was the original commitment. But then I added on two more tasks - trimming a tree that leans over my neighbor's driveway, and also cutting down a 15 foot or so spruce tree that was getting spindly. They used a chipper to dispose of the branches and other debris as well as raking the remainder and using a blower to clean the driveway. If it weren't for the now-missing tree, you'd never know they'd been here. All of this was done at an extremely reasonable price - I was very pleased with their work and will definitely hire them again when the need arises. Highly recommended!!!

provider promised to remove dead limbs from four tall trees. Provider did not completely remove all limbs as were explained to us. that were pointed out to us initially. The correct charge for the work actually done should be about $800.00 not $1400.00 Would not recommend this provider to anyone!
