Description of Work: Removed siding and reflashed windows due to leaks. It was a do-over from a different contractor who didn't seal windows on house addition. Great job, fast service.

Description of Work: Replaced 9 windows and transoms with 9 new windows that had a larger top sash than bottom; replaced 2 smaller windows with a single picture window. |Installers removed house outside siding to properly install and seal. Arrived on time and cleaned up. Answered questions and returned calls. Workers were professional. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Culpeper Windows and Siding replaced the siding on my house. The crew was timely and did an outstanding job. Much more than I had expected. We had one minor issue which was resolved to my satisfaction. I would definitely do business with them again.

Description of Work: First, we had all our windows replaced by this Company in 2006. We had all but the basement windows replaced and the frames capped with aluminum. Tom Dunlap is the owner and is great to work with. He was open to ordering frosted windows for the bathrooms and ordering a special window for the 3rd bath that is on the front of the house and was an architectural detail. It looks great! We were so pleased with the products and the company that we called Culpeper Windows and Siding when we were ready to do our siding. We have a very old house that had no insulation and Tom showed us a new product to go under the siding that would help for insulation. Since replacing the Windows and putting the new siding on, we are a lot warmer in the winter! Tom is wonderful (the owner) and takes care of problems quickly. Chang does the capping of moulding and frames and is a genius at it. We had details that we did not want to lose and he was able to do that for us. The crew was courteous and Hard working and there were no problems with them. We had a leak this past month through a window, and Tom came and took care of it immediately.

Description of Work: Tom Dunlap, President of Culpeper Window & Siding, was absolutely terrific! On his initial visit Tom spent over three hours carefully explaining the siding and window options he had available, to include the pluses and minuses of each. My wife has a severe sun sensitivity due to Lupus so we were intending to upgrade our window with maximum solar protection and we also wanted to investigate having the house resided with "insulated siding". Tom left several color chips and information regarding several options for both our wishes. On his second visit he answered all of the questions we had after reviewing all the literature and then - the kicker! He recommended that we NOT replace ALL of our windows, after his inspection he felt they were good windows (our house was 12years old this past Nov.) and we should only replace those seven in the two rooms with the most sun exposure that my wife also spends the most daytime hours in. How many times has a contractor actually recommended NOT incurring additional expenses? Tom also demonstrated and explained an alternative to "insulated" siding. This consists of a newer (aprx. 10y/o ) "house wrap" of closed cells and special foil. (I'm not doing justice to all the qualities of the siding product - let Tom do that.) The prices were all within range of what we had been expecting. His crew was prompt, very professional and very courteous. AND the work was done ON TIME. All debris and waste materials were cleaned up and removed by works end. This was by far one of the BEST experiences we have ever had with any contractor. Personable, congenial and professional, what more could you ask for???
