+ 1 moreTom Dunlap (owner) was great to work with. We started the process in the spring with an estimate and we finally made up our minds in June. We wanted to change the color of the house and Tom brought many samples for us the look at. He provided good advice on color selection. He didn't try to sell us stuff we didn't need. The installation went went well. The crew was nice and courteous. The cleanup was very good. There were a few things that had to be corrected and that was taken care of quickly. We think the house wrap and new windows has made a noticeable difference in in keeping the house cooler. Overall Culpeper Windows & Siding did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone needing windows or siding installed.

+ 0 moreToms workers came every morning at 7 and worked until 6 every day only taking a lunch break. They worked very hard and did a beautiful job. They were very professional and courteous. They had to tear off aluminum siding and replace with new vinyl siding. Their work is perfect! They also cleaned up very well too. The new gutters and trim is perfect. They know what they are doing and The price was very fair for the excellent work. I highly recommend Culpeper Window and Siding! You can come and look at my house and my neighbors.

All of our questions were answered thoroughly. We felt like Tom was looking for ways for us to save money while still maintaining the desired outcome. Also, he encouraged us to check the work along way with a critical eye. We found Tom to be honest, to have high standards of workmanship, and to stand by his work if there should be any problems in the future with the siding or gutters. We are very pleased with Tom and his company.

The job was done very quickly and clean-up was impeccable. We have had no problems with any of the work that was done. I hired this company to do replacement windows for us a few years ago, and I intend to have them replace my roof this winter. Tom is friendly and easy to work with. He knows the business very well.Le In addition, if you have pets... this is a very pet friendly company. In the course of this transaction there was an issue with the way the handle of the new storm door was installed. Tom told me the job would not be complete until the problem was resolved. He stood by that statement, and made sure everything was working the way I wanted it to work. I highly recommend this company.

+ -1 moreWas somewhat impressed with product knowledge and what was being described. We were still deciding on colors, so I asked if small sample pieces of siding were available. Was told not a problem, they would be dropped off and left on my front porch so I could walk around the house under various lighting conditions, etc. to see how each sample looked. Came home from work, didn't see the samples on the porch; I then noticed them NAILED to the front of my house. Keep in mind that at this point, I was nowhere near signing a contract for the siding work to be done. Beyond arrogant in my book to do such a thing, I mean really, who would do that?? So, I pried the samples off the front of my house, and was left with a series of nail holes to stare at, until such time as my home was resided by another contractor. Guess what, Culpeper Window & Siding?, that's called destruction of property.

+ -1 moreTom arrive on time with his crew and equipment. He made sure what we wanted, told his crew and they got to work. We decided we wanted 2 larger downspouts and the change was made with no problem. then we added screen guards. the crew was very agreeable as was Tom.

+ -1 moreAll went as we were told. We could not have asked for two nicer men that did the instillation. It took them one day and part of the next morning to do everything. They would have had everything done in one day had it not rained in the afternoon. Tom told us that the windows had a lifetime guarantee no matter what happens, come off tract, baseball ,hail, or what ever. I had to call him two times in the last four years, both times my fault, and someone came the same day to take care of the problem. We could not be happier with our new windows and have told all our friends about Ton and Culpeper Windows and Siding Inc.
Description of Work: Tom Dunlap came to our house and gave us a estimate to replace all windows . We picked out the type windows an were givena fare total price an we agreed. Tom told us that he would be back the next day to measure , witch he did, and said it would take two weeks to make them and when they had them made he would call and set a date to have them installed. In two weeks Tom called and told us the windows were made and we set a date for the next week to have them installed. The next week Tom's tow men cameand installed all of the new windows and disposed of the old ones.

Description of Work: Tom came by on time measured and gave me an estimate on the spot. He also showed me his insurance certificate, his better bureau rating and gave me a list of references. i checked on 4 of his references all of whom gave him a glowing report. His crew started the job half a day early. it was mainly soffit work to cover up old peeling and cracked areas. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up and hauled away all their mess. He gave me a lifelong guarantee on his work as well. I would definitely recommend his work.. I even let him leave his sign outside my house after the job was done to give him some free advertising. I will be using him to put replace some windows later on this year. Stella

Description of Work: We received an estimate for door and window replacement as well as siding repair. The estimate was siginficantly lower than other estimates. The experience was very positive and there were no high pressure sales tactics.
