Description of Work: The service visit went very well. It was reasonably priced, and Mr. Eubanks is an expert. Earlier, I had called a company who told me that they would have to replace the fireplace because it was 20 years old. They hadn’t even looked at the fireplace!! Mr. Eubanks cleaned the pilot light nozzle, checked the wiring, and cleaned the glass. Not once did he mention replacing all the parts. He’s skilled, honest, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Mr. Eubanks repaired work performed by a previous service provider who had striped the bolts on our fireplace glass panel. This faux pas prevented fireplace maintenance. No other company was willing to fix the problem.

Description of Work: Excellent work by Jim and Jeff installing my new gas insert. I had not measured correctly, but they were still able to get it installed. It works beautifully! I will be calling on Jim again when I move to my new place and need to have another conversion done.

+ 0 moreOur realtor ended up calling Jim for us as we had been waiting over 3 weeks for another vendor to get to us to make the repair. Jim arrived early (on an Sunday, no less) and his diagnosis of the issue was consistent with what we had been told by the other vendor. He made the repair efficiently and the repair cost came in less than what we had been quoted by the no show vendor. Great experience overall, we will be using him to maintain our gas fireplaces (we have 4) going forward.

+ 0 moreWe were having a problem getting an acceptable flame from the upstairs unit. Mr Eubanks dsimantled it, cleaned and adjusted the box and re-arranged the logs, added embers and cleaned off the pilot. He did the same for the downstairs unit. All this was included in his initial charge. What impressed us most was that twice we called him again about issues with the fireplaces, and both times he did the work for no additional charge. The second follow-up was quite extensive. We fully expected to pay him for the second follow-up but it was all done at no additional charge.
Description of Work: Mr. Eubanks came to our house to inspect our two gas fireplaces for the winter, to ensure that they were safe, properly insulated and maintained, and operating correctly. We have two gas fireplaces - in the upstairs family room and in our finished basement. Both are builder grade Heat'N'Glo units; the upstairs unit is larger than the downstairs but otherwise they are identical.
