Alternative Wastewater Services LLC

Initially, we started with another designer to upgrade an existing system from 3 to 6 bedrooms. After 3 aborted designs (for various reasons) over a period of about 5 months, we selected Alternative Wastwater Services. Within less than one week, they evaluated our requirements, recommended a totally new system ...... cheaper and less stress on the existing 35 year old system. They had the design complete within another 2 weeks and had meetings with the County, permit was approved in another 2 weeks. The owner, Jim Slusser, is exceptionally well qualified in his field, knows the difficulties and solutions well, having spent 2 years in the County Office, then a few years as a septic system servicer (he got to know first hand problems with faulty designs and installations), then decided to specialize in the design field. He laid out and provided design details and locations of septic tank, drain fields and sewer pipes; he helped assess contractors and their proposals, was on site for the beginning of construction and was indeed a project partner. Our system was totally completed and inspected in 4 working days, another great story coming on Stanford Excavating, Inc., our selected contractor.
