He put these 3 trees on the ground after climbing and removing limbs above house and garage. He had no problem putting trees on ground without any damage to structures. He did what we had asked. because we heat with wood and told him we would clear brush and cut and split for our wood supply. Very professional and will be using him again in the neer future to fell more trees located near house!

I contacted this company a few days after the storm on June 13, 2013. I had a rather large tree branch fall out of an oak tree into my backyard and was unable to find anyone to remove it for me. I also wanted to get an estimate on getting some of the limbs cut from this oak tree and another oak tree from my backyard. I received a call the following day. I gave the man all of my information and told him I had gotten his company's name from Angie's List, which showed good reviews and that's why I had chosen him. He repeated where I had gotten his company's name during our conversation for reasons unknown and proceeded to tell me that he had and quot;decade-oldand quot; customers that he needed to attend to first and it might be a week and a half to two weeks before he could get to me. He told me he would touch base with me the middle of the next week, which would have been the week of June 17. The statement made and quot;you know what position I'm in right nowand quot; was given and I left it at that, hoping to hear from him the next week. Unfortunately, the man never called the following week, so I called and left him a message the next weekend and I've never heard back from him again and it is now June 30. If this company did not feel they could handle the job or could not put me on the schedule, they could have called and let me know so that I could schedule an appointment with someone else so the job could have been taken care of instead of making me wait. It has been over two weeks since the storm and I have been waiting for a call back and have heard absolutely nothing. This company's and quot;decade-oldand quot; customers may have good results with them, but they'll never gain any new customers by never returning phone calls or setting up new appointments. At least have the respect and consideration to pick up the phone and call someone and tell them you can't help them and give them the chance to find someone else. That's good business ethics.

Once I contacted them, DJ came out to do an estimate a couple days later. Three days after that they did the job. They pruned the trees exactly as I had requested. They showed great care in working on the tree near the electric line. All pruned material was removed and the yard was left neat and clean. This was a completely positive experience, and I would hire them again. They charged a reasonable price and provided professional servie.

Left a message for DJ and he promptly called me back. He was able to provide an estimate within 24-36 hours. His pricing was extremely fair and competitive. He gave me options depending on the extent of the work I needed done and. When he did the work, he did an excellent job. Will 100% refer to family and friends and will 100% use him again.

They were able to the two day job within a couple days of the estimate. There was no problems and they cleaned up the area.

D J and his dad were on time, on budget and left my yard cleaner than when they got here. I would use them again in a heart beat.

DJ returned our initial call within 24 hours; came out to look at the job on a Sunday - unheard of! He surveyed what we wanted done; made some recommendations and gave us an estimate and suggested that we get permission of neighbors for possible intrusion on their property. He had to cancel the first planned day of work because of weather, but came the next day. He and his helper worked tirelessly for three and a half hours, cutting down three small trees and cutting dead branches from two others. The clean up was thorough. Both men were professional and polite.

They did a perfect job. They left no debris and cleaned up after themselves. Their price was lower than anyone else. I've already recommended them to other people.

It went very well. They were a bit late getting here but called to let me know about the delay. Went right to work and had the whole thing wrapped up in about 6-7 hours. He brought a large enough crew to 'get-r-done'. The crew worked together professionally like a well oiled machine - all seemed to know exactly what to do. I was concerned about safety for this type of work but soon was convinced that they were taking all reasonable precautions and were very experienced at what the do. They did this work between a house and a pool deck and did not damage a thing. When they left the only evidence of their presence (aside from the better looking trees) was a bit of saw dust. Overall I was very pleased - and it was entertaining to watch.

Overall, the job went very well and I would use him again.

They absolutely did a great job. The tree was shared between us and our neighbors and they had conversations with us and the neighbor to make sure that everybody was happy with what was being done. They were great. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

We now have closure and I am not happy. As you can read from the above, we were waiting for DJ to return and make good on his promise to make things right. I received a call from DJ on 5-12-12 and it was a rather disturbing message. The message began with and quot;I don't know why I call since you never pick up your phone.and quot; To this I reply, I have Lyme disease and suffer daily with the fruits of Lyme disease. I don't normally answer the phone, however, I do return calls when I need to, depending upon how I feel that day. Secondly, he told me in his message that he was thinking it over, and said and quot;I was actually getting about $3500.00 of work for $1300.00and quot;. Why? Because he removed the white oak. The original response of and quot;I'm going to make it right for youand quot; had changed to implying he had already done above and beyond by removing the white oak and chipping the root of the white oak and 1 free chipping to a root in the immediate area. But it was my understanding that the red oak would be chipped. Now I feel he is putting this on me, giving me a guilt trip because of the negligence in dropping the tree incorrectly. The job was simple; remove 1 red oak tree. However, when removing the red oak, he took out a beautiful white oak. He misjudged where the tree would fall and it came down slapping the white oak, knocking it down and causing the root ball to be torn out of the ground. Also tearing up the red brick surrounding the landscaped area which was never fixed or put back to a normal appearance. In addition to destroying my white oak, as I mentioned above, the white oak also crushed part of the rear end of their pick-up truck. In addition to the damage to the truck, the white oak also fell on the power lines causing a power outage on the street as well as a cable outage-requiring AEP to respond to the scene. So it is a bit unfair to put this on the homeowner by tellig me that I am getting $2200.00 in free work? I was also told he would fill dirt in the grass area where the red oak fell, but to this day I am left with a large hole where water collects when it rains and where the grass has been destroyed. Please note the trunk of the red oak was about 4 feet fron left to right. This tree company may have had good intentions, but good intentions do not take the place of customer service.

The experience was smooth from start to finish. DJ started on time and efficiently moved through the day with a systematic approach of removal with minimal impact. All loose branches and brush were removed and logs were stacked neatly as requested. DJ mailed my receipt after the job was complete.

Very quick to come out and provide estimate. Worked with me on the price. Responsive about getting it done. Came out on Saturday. Accomplished all of the work in about 2 hours. Checks with you to make sure everything is as you expect.

The owner came and gave me an estimate a few hours after my placing the phone call. He was obviously experienced and explained how he would do the job. He also asked me whom he was bidding against, which I thought was a nice touch. The four-man crew arrived on time on the day and time promised. Because of their proximity to my electrical service lines, the upper portions of the trees had to be carefully cut and roped to the ground. The entire operation was performed professionally and went off without a hitch. All debris was carefully removed from the yard and tossed into the chipper. Stump grinding was done a day or two later. It was done on the day promised and it, too, went off without a hitch. After all the work was done, the only evidence that there had ever been trees in these locations were the chips left by the stump-grinder. (It was my choice to leave the chips in place.) There's nothing fancy or slick about these guys. At every phase from estimate through cleanup, they simply showed up on time, did the work thoroughly and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. I probably could have found a lower bid, but the reviews here on Angie's List suggested these guys were honest, competent, and fair. For what it's worth, I had had a tree removed from my property a couple of years ago by another company whose work I liked, too. When I called the owner for this job, he was on vacation for a few days. When he returned my call, I told him that I had given the job to DJ's Professional Tree Service. He told me that I had made a good choice.

He is just a sweet and super guy. He does excellent work, he cleans up after himself perfectly, and he really works with people on prices. He has really come to my rescue on trees many times. They clean up the wood chips when they are done and they rake so it looks the way that I would want it to look.

We had confirmed that DJ's could drive onto the neighbor's property to remove the residue. One tree fell on our neighbor's property and destroyed a red plum tree. The neighbor agreed to DJ's proposal to remove the remains and plant a new tree of her choice. As a result of DJ's professionalism, the neighbor asked them to remove two trees on the neighbor's property, which they did the same day.

DJ arrived the day before to give an estimate and came back the next morning to cut down the trees. These were very large trees that were threatening the house and garage and fences. He and his men worked efficiently and professionally. We could not have been more pleased. A friend of ours stopped by to watch and asked DJ to come to his house for an estimate. Later in the afternoon, DJ went to our friend's and estimated and cut down a tree for him. Our friend was very impressed with the attitude and skill of this tree service.

I met with DJ on Monday, and the team (4 members) came and completed the service the next day. The team was supposed to arrive between 9 and 10 and didn't arrive until 10:05. This would have been okay except that my husband was waiting to go to work until they arrived. We walked around the yard and went over what exactly was to be done. Then, the team set to work. They worked swiftly and completed the job and cleaning in about 6 hours. They even took some branches that I had pruned myself without me even having to ask. When they had questions about the work, they came and made sure what they were doing was what we wanted. The cleanup they did after the job was excellent.

We were very impressed. DJ's team cleared the stumps the same day we met him, at the end of their long day (pine went very fast, neighbor's very hard wood took longer), and felled the tree the next morning, working with our schedule. Before we met DJ, my husband was going to do the tree himself. We couldn't afford to have DJ both fell and haul off the tree, so he worked with us and gave us the price to just fell it. His team did it the same way my husband thought he would, but because it was lightning struck - hollow for many years - it had an element of being unpredictable. DJ, his team, and my husband all learned one big branch in particular was not as brittle inside as it looked outside. DJ and his team (father and brother) felled the tree right where we wanted it and did extra work without charging to take care of the unpredictable limb. Because of the element of being unpredictable and the extra work DJ did to make it a very professional job, we were VERY thankful my husband didn't do it and we hired DJ instead!!!

Amazing people to work with. Returned initial call for estimate the same day. Looked at property to give estimate the next day and work completed the next. In my experience it is hard just to get someone to call you back, much less complete the job in a timely manner. Crew showed up on time, professional, worked well together, and removed the trees safely and efficiently. The clean up was great and you could tell they took pride in their work and respected your property.
