Description of Work: Joshua contacted me within a day of my request. He made an appointment and came by the house to assess my needs. He gave me a verbal estimate and said he would email me the written estimate. At the time he mentioned that he would not be able to schedule anything until the end of April. It's now the middle of June and I have not heard anything. No email with a written estimate or call. | |Unfortunately, I've gone with a competitor.

Description of Work: Josh and his team are awesome! He always has a smile on his face and you can tell he loves what he does - my kids call him the Lorax. His team trimmed & topped several trees on our property and pointed out areas of concern. Our yard looks great - the team was very conscientious about cleaning up. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: After having poor luck with another vendor, I called Josh at Extreme and he came out the next day to review/provide estimate for the tree I wanted pruning. While we agreed upon a date for the service, his crew had not finished a previous job as of that date BUT he called the day before to inform me he couldn't honor the initial date and we then agreed upon a second date which his crew made right on time. | |Great job, and they also threw in some additional pruning on some new trees I had purchased and planted in December for a nominal fee. Highly impressed with the professionalism and communication of this organization, and the price was less than half of the first vendor who had some issues with follow-up.

Description of Work: They removed a red maple and trimmed a cottonwood tree. I am very pleased with their work. As my C rating suggests, there was a punctuality issue. I was told they would be here around 11 but they did not arrive until after 4 pm and I did not receive any calls to let me know it would be later in the day.

Description of Work: Part of a maple tree was dead. The tree people removed a huge limb with surgical skill. They had to miss a fence, pond, and ornamental shrubs.

Description of Work: Jim at Extreme Tree provided a quote with breakdown pricing for crowning and clearing large branches from two oaks, pruning a third, and cutting down an ash tree (no removal). When I called back to start the work, he tried to narrow the scope on the red oaks saying "if we have to remove any large limbs, it will be more expensive". The quote clearly states "Large branches hanging over house will be removed or reduced in length to increase safety to house." After reading him the quote, he acknowledged it was there and would stand by it. He then said "there's no way I'm going to be able to cut down the Ash tree for $650. It will be more like $1200. I can probably take down the big branch for $650." This is a "bait-and-switch". He might do GREAT work, but EVERYTHING he quoted me is double the price now that I would like the work done.

Description of Work: We had two small dead trees in our yard that needed to be removed.

Description of Work: Contacted this Company for an estimate on tree work and yard work. We have very large oaks which need trimming and very poor yard. Due to the trees the yard is mostly covered with moss. I was told on the inspection the tree and yard work could be done by this company.

Description of Work: A very large elm in our front yard had begun dropping limbs and had become decidedly ugly. Several large limbs overhung the power and cable wires leading to the house. Huge roots made mowing the meager grass under the tree difficult. We found after it was felled that the tree trunk had split some years before and that the smaller portion had rotted beneath the ground. It was thought that it might not have survived a strong windstorm. Whew! We were very impressed with Extreme Tree Company. The workers were efficient, knowledgeable, competent and friendly. They cleaned up after each work day and went above and beyond my expectations, staying late so that we would not be put out at all. They were fun to watch. They took care to minimize any damage from felling a 50' elm. They took their time and thought through each phase of the job. A very good company. I recommend them highly. They also came in lower than the next bidder and even reduced the stump below the level of the ground, so that we can plant grass over it. No other company offered that service to me. Well done!

Description of Work: Extreme Tree Company performed work in my yard following last summer's derecho (severe wind storm). I had two very large oak trees (24 inch and 30 inch in diameter) snap off about 12 to 20 feet above the ground. One landed on top of an out building, the other was caught up in some other trees. I also had 2-3 smaller trees snap off, one landing on part of my fence and another across the driveway. Extreme Tree removed the fallen trees, cleared up the debris, and did so in a very professional manner and also without any additional damage to any of my property (which was a real concern). They also grinded the stumps, so that when they were done, there was no sign that the trees had ever been there. While they were out at my property, they also inspected my other trees to provide me with an estimate of future work I should do to prevent more trees from falling and landing on my house. I decided to prune the tops of several more oak trees hanging over my house, some as tall as 60 feet or more, and they did a great job, again without any damage to my house. They also put a rod through a tall oak with co-dominant trunks, so that it will not split apart in the future, and they also used cables in some other trees to reinforce them. I was very happy with their work. They did an excellent job in every regard, and were very friendly and professional.

Description of Work: I used this company back when they were Extreme Lawn Care. I used them after they did some work on my neighbor's trees and was impressed with their capabilities. At the time the did lawn care and I had them cut my lawn when my mower was in the shop. They also did some tree work in securing a tree that was going to split and also trimmed some other trees. I was extremely happy with ther work and would recommend them to any person looking for a professional service. I need to have them come trim some dead patches in my large trees and will definitely use Extreme Tree Company.

Description of Work: First job was a pruning of oak tree. He was amazing. He took all the time needed to prune the tree throughly and didn't cut corners.Second job was tree cutting and lawn renewal. Did a very good job on removal. We got lots of mulch for our backyard and he cleaned up very well. He really cares about his work.

Description of Work: A strong wind storm broke a main branch on my maple tree onto my house. I have a two and a half story farm house and the tree towered the house by 30 feet and the branch that broke was 18 inches in circumference. It laid across the entire width of my house and hung over on each side. I called 3 different companies for an estimate and Extreme tree Company was the first and only company to show up and they showed up that day to give an estimate. The work crew was out the next day. They used block and tackle removed the broke branch and by the end of the the day took down the entire 120 year old tree. The tree was less than 20 feet from the house and less then 15 feet from my fence. They did not hit the house or fence when removing the tree.

Description of Work: Extreme Tree Company came to my house and did some yard work for me. They came out two times and took 7 trees that had fallen over in my yard and he came and removed them all.
