Description of Work: Have had a service contract with Griffith since moving here two years ago. Have had nothing but trouble with the company since the beginning: late deliveries with automatic refill plan; going several days without heat/hot water before Griffith could service tank; testy and unpleasant office staff who don't seem to care if you are without heat; and untimely responses to emergency calls. Today I called at 10:00 a.m. to report no oil, and at almost 7:00, no service yet. So I finally had had it, opened the computer, and filled out the application form for another company.

Description of Work: We have used Griffith Energy Services for several years. We contacted them over a week ago to schedule oil delivery. Even with the snow, roads have been clear since Tuesday as well as our driveway which is off of a main road. We did not get a delivery (ver a week now). We have not had heat in our house since last Friday night. We called Griffith again for delivery which was suppose to come this Wednesday and did not. This is now Thursday of the following week and no delivery. We called to see where our oil delivery is as our house is 50 degrees inside and we have a senior citizen in our house. No one called us, they said they did not have enough oil to make our delivery. That was after we called again. We are incredibly disappointed in Griffith of Berryville. We have some space heaters and have to keep our water running so our pipes do not freeze. They have not been responsive at all. Very disappointing. Wish we had established business with a different provider.

Description of Work: Griffith Energy, together with Jones Rogers, (the two companies have merged) installed a new Trane heat pump, air handler, humidifier and air scrubber for us. The installation went smoothly and the workers were prompt, neat, pleasant and professional.

Description of Work: Basement flooded during Sandy completely inundating 14 year old oil furnace. Griffith came out the day after and completely disassembled old furnace. Recommended replacement. Representative came the next day and looked at the old furnace and agreed with replacement. Provided immediate quote, discussed payment options, and provided installation date. Installers were early first thing in the morning. Worked seven hours removing the old furnace and installing the new one. Checked out the new system thoroughly. Provided me with all the su.pporting documentation, a checklist of what they did, and answered my questions. The installers cleaned up all their trash and hauled it away. Both installers were pleasant and answered my questions.

Description of Work: I did hire Griffith Energy Services 5 months ago. They provided oil and serviced and protection plan for our oil tank.

Description of Work: They perform all of my regular service calls and provide my natural gas.
