Jeff's Refrigeration

Jeff is expedient, knowledgeable in his craft, courteous and respectful. I called for an appointment to estimate cost of repair of a Kitchenaid side by side which had gradually stopped getting cold so that I can determine if a new refrigerator had to be purchased. Jeff stated he had other jobs to do but was able to come by and take a look the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem, made a call to get the parts needed, picked them up and installed them. The refrigerator started operating like new. His service and consideration saved me from the expensive task of purchasing a new appliance. I feel blessed in knowing him for future repairs.

Assessment revealed cost to repair was as much as buying a used one. Mr Linkous referred me to a reliable source.

Jeff came out to service it and told us we needed to thaw out an area (an area we couldn’t previously access) that had completely iced over. After it thawed we called him back (as instructed) and he walked us thru a few steps and we were back up and running! He could have easily tried to sell us a costly new motherboard or compressor. Nope. Jeff was AWESOME! Fast and saved us a LOT of money! There are still honest people in this world.

Will absolutely call again for other repairs due to honesty and quickness of response to phone call.

Suggested getting new refrigerator due to cost of repair being the same or greater.

Very well. Took a couple visits to get the right part but Jeff was knowledgeable and very focused on getting the job done right in a timely manner.

It didn't go at all. Talked with him. made the appointment and he has never showed up nor has he called.

Jeff immediately got it working again and returned to clean out the lent. Very neat, polite and helpful.

Frig displayed error code. Freezer was icing up, ice maker stopped, no water or ice would dispense. LG support had me unplug frig and plug in, twice, problem did not go away. LG support said frig was not level based on error code. Frig in place on a floor that is a concrete slab for 5 years, funny it thinks it is not level all the sudden. Jeff returned my call, asked for the error code, and said my ice maker should not be working, and I would have ice in the freezer where cold air comes out. He was right and came by house to check, ordered a part, came back when he got the part and fixed it. Was on time and kept me in the loop. Jeff had me turn off frig for a day to get rid of ice build up as wires related to the repair are fragile and need to be free of ice. French door style frig, freezer door and shelves had to come out and some disassembly needed to expose part to be replaced, this took time to do. He did not damage anything while doing the repair. He knows his stuff and you can tell by the way he conducts himself he is a professional.

Jeff and his assistant, wife Mary, responded in a timely manner. Was able to come a few hours ahead of the time agreed upon, which was great. He did a quick diagnoses, ordered the pump and set up the repair the day the pump came in, (total of two days). He was very punctual, gave a cost the first day so I was able to know what the repair was going to cost. They were very neat, cleaned up and reset the washer and dryer and were very pleasant to deal with.

After a thorough evaluation, he informed us that our refrigerator was about 8 years old and the issue may or may not be caused by the circuit board. He recommended that we get a new refrigerator instead of paying to get our old one fixed. He told us the best brand to get for what we needed. We paid for him checking out the old one and for the invaluable advice he gave us on picking out a new one. He was very professional and personable. An all around nice guy and honest businessman that I would definitely recommend to any of our friends that have issues with their refrigerators.

Our front loading washing machine was not draining properly and was growing mold in the boot so I contacted Jeff to take a look at it. Jeff answered my call on the first attempt, and arrangements were made for him to service the washing machine several days later (my schedule conflicts caused the delay in service). Jeff arrived early for the appointment and quickly determined the problem (several dollars in loose change in the filter, preventing normal drainage). He also cleaned as much of the mold out of the boot as was possible. Overall, I was very happy with the Jeff and the service he provided, will definitely use again in the future.

Jeff is a wonderful example of customer service! He called me quickly and was very informative and courteous. Jeff was on time and has even helped my mother in law at a short noticed. He did a wonderful job! I will most definitely call him again.

The estimate was free. He was very honest, very punctual, and great with communication. It turned out that Samsung wasn't his expertize, and I appreciated his honesty with that, and so I wound up going with someone else. I found him on Angie's List.

Arrived on time, fixed and completely cleaned dryer to prevent possible fire from lint .

I called Jeff to make an appointment for him to look at my dryer. I left a message for him, and he responded very quickly, probably with in the hour. He happened to be in Salem, so he was able to come by within a half hour of the call. This is very old, strange, little house, and he had to do some gymnastics to get into the basement to look at the electrical panel (as well as dodge a lot of bugs and mud). he was cheerful about all of that, bless him. He was clear that I shouldn't use the dryer until it had been cleaned. I asked him do that, because there is no way I was sending it back to the idiots who sold it to me in that condition (and they had it twice). He didn't have the necessary tools on him then, but offered to come back the next day to do the work. His schedule was very full, but since we were going to be home all day, he asked if he could call right before he came over. He arrived just after lunch, fixed the dryer, cleaned up the area where he had worked (it was cleaner than when he arrived), and went on to the next job like some sort of appliance super hero. He didn't charge me for the visit the day before, even though he was probably here for at least an hour. He was very mindful my son's safety around the disassembled dryer (remembering to close a baby gate I had accidentally left open). He worked quite hard the whole time and was very fast without being sloppy. He gave me free advice on cleaning the very filthy burn heads on the gas cook top that came with the house when we bought it. I absolutely would have no problem calling him again or recommending him to friends and family. Clearly he's a guy with a strong work ethic, large skill set, and sense of responsibility. I don't think you can go wrong with him.

Talked with Jeff on the phone about my dishwasher that was not cycling. He confirmed my suspection that it might be a timer issue. We were not able to schedule a time for him to come to the house so I ordered the part online and installed it. In the future I will call Jeff first with any repairs I will need with my appliances. He seemed honest, informed and professional.

bill I called and left a message concerning what I figured was a leak from the water line feeding our ice maker on the refrigerator. I received a call back within the hour. During that phone call we discussed the problem and he said he could come straight on over as he was already in town. He communicated well and often concerning how soon he would arrive. Once he arrived, we reviewed the situation, and he looked at the water line which was, indeed, the problem. He completed the work within about 30-45 minutes and was courteous and informative the whole time. The charge was $81 for replacing the last bit of copper line which was impinged and under too much pressure with a flexible plastic line. I am thrilled with Jeff! He is an extremely clear communicator and is flawlessly courteous. His receipt reflected his strong communication--I can look back at it and understand the particulars. Most importantly to me, he did not talk down to me or leave ou important information. I feel that this level of communication does not happen with everyone, so Jeff is a rare gem!

Jeff was professional, courteous and prompt. He called and kept me updated, made recommendations for places to purchase new dishwasher and even went and picked it up from the store before he installed it. Wonderful service!

He discovered the problem, but he also found a problem with the water hookups in my rented house which could have potentially caused a flood, so I'm now waiting for the landlord to repair the hookups so Jeff can complete his job. So far I'm very impressed with Jeff's knowledge and his concern with doing top rate work. I will call Jeff back when my hookups have been repaired.
