Mr. Killmon usually started his work in the late morning which was an agreed upon time. He submitted a written estimate prior to beginning at our request and any changes were discussed before he proceeded with additional repairs discovered while doing the original work. His hours extended into the early evening. He called when he had a conflict or an emergency. While working on the doors he prevented debris and bugs from entering the remainder of the house by covering doorways in the house. He boarded up spaces for the night which made us feel safe. He always cleaned up after himself and never left a mess. He was courteous at all times. His workmanship was excellent. Everyone works best at different times and rates. Nate worked slowly and meticulously and provided and excellent result. We were and are very pleased with his work and would call upon him again.
Description of Work: Mr. Killmon replace two glass sliding doors, repaired the floors next to the doors, repaired and stained two decks, rebuilt/rapaired associated stairs, and cleared gutters.

Terribly! He refused to submit a contract or estimate - said it wasn't necessary on the Eastern Shore. He had come recommended by a person whose landscape work I valued highly - Nate was his cousin; I foolishly trusted. He was chronically late sometimes not showing up until after noon and then leaving 21/2 hours later, sometimes not at all. I constantly asked him for an accounting of the costs because I live on a very fixed income; he told me not to worry which is when I should have stopped trusting. He finished in Aug and submitted a generalized bill for labor and materials which was astounding, $1,050.00! He would not show me the bills for materials and kept the remaining lumber and supplies that I paid for. The additional costs were incurred because he sued me in court even after I offered to pay him monthly until the bill was satisfied. I tried to bargain with him; he was verbally abusive, threatened me, and warned me that he would sue, that he'd done it before and was very successful at it. He did; I lost because I came unprepared for his presentation complete with pictures of my home. Indeed his talent lies in litigation not in home repair and customer service.
Description of Work: Punch list included repairing: auto garage door, refrigerator seal, porch screen, mailbox, vacuum cleaner; leveling a dryer; building garage & shed shelving. He avoided the bathroom floor, basement floor, porch moldings, painting the dining room and installing crown molding.
