JOHN'S SMALL ENGINE REPAIR

Not good he broke the hedge trimmer and did not offer to fix it and he charged me $65.00 to replace the fuel line on the weed eater, which I thought was way out of line. His place looks like a junk yard for lawn equipment.

After trying several fuel additives my snow thrower refused to start. John picked up the snow thrower at my house, cleaned the fuel system, got it running and returned it to me, all.for a very reasonable price. I am a very satisfied customer.

John was very easy to reach by phone, discussed what I needed, he offered to pick up the mower and deliver back to me. He picked up the mower within a few days and delivered back within a week! I also had asked John if he could give me a "brief" refresher course on using my Zero Turn as my son has been cutting the lawn for about a year and I wanted to get back in to doing it! He provided this service to me as well upon delivery of the mower. He also hauled off an old mower for me I was no longer using....hoping he can recycle a few parts! I have referred a friend to John as well for small engine repair on a saw! I will definitely give John my repeat business. Very pleasant to work with and went out of his way to accommodate!

The service that John provided was fantastic. He set up the appointment to pick up the riding mower for 9:30a and he showed up at the exact time specified. He serviced the mower (tune-up, oil change, blades sharpened) and replaced a broken gasket on the bagging system. He called three days later stating the repairs and servicing were complete and asked about a drop off time. He said if we were available, he could bring it by right then, which worked out perfect. Great prices and great door-to-door service. We will definitely use John's again.

Called to make appointment. Had a difficult time finding his shop (it is well hidden at the end of a dirt road). He looked at it, determined the problem, said he could fix it and would call me when it was ready. Didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, so I called again. He said he was still working on it, but called the next day to say it was ready. He also agreed to drop it off at my house, which was great. Blower works fine.

John did maintenance and deck repair work on my 10 yr old craftsman riding mower.m Pick up and delivery was exactly as promised. Mowed the yard the day of delivery and it ran and cut like new. Excellent all the way around.

My mower runs SO MUCH better; it's better than brand new. I can't believe how easily it starts, either. I told John that he will be my go-to- guy at the start of every mowing season. Very well pleased!

John is a first class guy. He showed me what I had overlooked in my own start-up attempts without making me feel like a fool. John got the mower to go forward and in reverse as designed, went over some tips about the Z turn mowers and gave me some pointers regarding the tires. Wife and I just moved back to Lynchburg and this kind of service and friendly advice is not available in the DC area...at least not in the 31 years we stayed there. Two thumbs up for John! Highly recommend him and will use his services as needed going forward.

Found John's Small Engine Repair on Angie's List after getting fed up with a popular small engine repair provider on Timberlake Rd. Called and left a message defining my problem (PTO stopped engaging the mowing blades). John called me back that evening and said he could come by in two days. He would take the mower to his shop and diagnose/repair the problem. On the morning of the planned pick up, John called me and informed me that he had fixed the problem in my driveway and he did not need to take the mower with him. John was very professional, courteous, and timely. Could not have asked for any better service. John's Small Engine Repair service will get all of my business from this point forward.

John arrived in 30 minutes of my call (just happened to be headed to Town of Bedford that morning) He was happy to push the riding mower from the back yard to the street where his truck and trailer waited. We talked a few minutes about the symptoms and he had the diagnosis already in mind. A rough estimate was provided and I approved the work. He called 3 days later to schedule delivery and was on time. The mower started on the first turn of the key and he rode it to the back yard as directed. We met at the front door where we discussed the repair and he emphasized the testing he performed to check his work. I wrote him a check and he went to his next repair call. I was extremely satisfied with his service.

John fixed my string trimmer so it runs like new and i'm very satisfied.

John came to my home and picked up my non working mower and diagnosed my problem and did the repair and a tune up and delivered my mower back to me at a very reasonable price.
