DON TOLLEY PROFESSIONAL ROOFING

When I contacted Mr. Tolley for an estimate, he responded quickly and in person. He brought an Owens Corning sample book and per our request, he special ordered the Sedona Canyon architectural roofing shingles. He, unlike another contractor, was able to order the matching hip and ridge shingles. The estimate spelled out exactly what would be done, including new flashing around the chimney and new boots. Once he received the shingles he arranged a date for doing the roofing. The crew showed up on time and shingles were delivered by a company that used a boom to lift the shingles to the roof. The crew had obviously worked together before and started work right away. There was no horsing around and no downtime. Within 3 1/2 hours the roof was done. The crew cleaned up the mess and Mr. Tolley gave us the warranty work to fill out for Owens Corning. We paid him and they were on their way. We were not asked for any money up-front, unlike other companies who wanted material costs paid up front. The professionalism demonstrated by Mr. Tolley and his crew was second to none. The new roof is quite an improvement and looks beautiful.

When he started all I heard was complaints on cost of things gas and materials.

Worst experience with a contractor I ever had. He was a preferred contractor on Owens Corning web site.Signed a contract for 6800. for a complete job with no provisions for increases ;only if a change was to be made for more work. After completion he tried to have me sign a new contract for an additional $910.00 for the work with no additions.(for price Increases).the contract has no provision for price increases.
