Although the deal description did not say so, when Wilbur arrived, he indicated the deal did not include painting the ceiling, doors and trim. But because the room was so small, he said he would include those areas as part of the deal. His worker, Concepcion, went right to work and completed the job in about three hours. He did an outstanding job, and I am very happy with the results. Before he left, Wilbur and I reviewed his deal description which did not indicate it only included painting the walls. He agreed that any future deals he offers will be more specific regarding what is and is not included in the deal. I have no reservations in recommending him to other Angie's List members.

They did an excellent job repairing small holes in the walls. He was patient with me when I had to run out and get more paint, even allowing me to utilize his contractor discount at Sherwin Williams. He even came back out to fix a wall after I dinged it while moving furniture back. Would use again, and would recommend.

 + 1 moreMr. Wilbur Gonzales and his employee were very professional. He arrived on time and thoroughly explained his approach to fixing the repairs I requested. I felt very comfortable with his approach and extremely satisfied with the repairs he performed. Another impressive fact was the way he protective my home while performing the repairs. He thoroughly cleaned all areas upon completion. I have not seen better. In fact, I was so impressed that I have consulted him to address additional projects in my home. Trust me, not only was the work done well it was also done in a timely manner. I know I received an honest price value for the work done.
Description of Work: I had 3 projects for repair: - The first one was a 9X12 (est) hole in my family room ceiling due to a leak from the second floor. - My second project was a missing section of plaster and sheet rock resulting from the installation of new kitchen cabinets. - The third project was reapplying new chalking to basement window to ensure proper sealing.

 + -1 moreWent OK. Took two men a little under 8 hours to remove the paper and the glue. It is a large room. They didn't use a steamer which surprised us. I think a steamer would have made the process go more quickly and less drywall damage. The men cleaned up very well.

 + 1 moreExcellent! Two workers arrived, prepped the area covering furniture, carpet, etc. The two water stains are gone, minor cracks gone, ceiling painted once in its entirety. In addition, they fixed a hair line crack in the drywall in my bathroom and painted the area. They also fixed two areas where I had kitchen counter removed and granite installed, spackled and painted. Looks great! All performed in 2 hours. Great customer service by Wilbur, the owner. So happy with work performed. Would re-hire in a heartbeat!

 + -1 moreNot good. I paid ($240) for 8hours which 4 hours was used for taping 1/2 of the ceiling. In 8 hours the job was not completed. After he talked to his supervisor, he had to work faster to finish the job that night. I had to pay the supervisor for 5 1/2 more hours ($165) to finish the job and I did the cleaning up to save money. I had painters before and it did not take that much time for the taping. Its funny that after he talked to his supervisor he completed the job in 5 1/2 hours??? He didn't do bad but it just funny how he completed the second half of the ceiling and one wall in less amount of time. The supervisor wanted me to pay $35 for the extra hours. I told him no because I was paying $30 an hour thru Angie's list. I will not be getting them again.

It was 11pm when I contacted Wilber and I was not expecting a response, but gave it a try anyway. He responded immediately and we finalized cost and service shortly after. The painter arrived promptly at 8am the next morning. Super fast turnaround time and quality work. Would recommend!
