 + 1 moreWilber and Team painted full exterior of the house including wood siding, trim, 2 large deck areas, applied caulk to cracks in siding, and repaired selective areas by replacing wood. Wilber was flexible on how paint was acquired and the types used from Sherwin Williams. Team was responsive to additional requests and worked diligently as weather permitted. Wilber was comfortable using text as a primary communication method and would provide notice roughly 24 hours ahead of time for planned activities and work once schedule was agreed on.

 + 1 moreWilber does a great job returning phone calls/texts. He had availability for the free estimate and we scheduled his crew to come the following week. They did such a nice job painting two bedrooms (trim included, patching holes, etc.) that I called him again to paint another two rooms in the house, one of which the walls were a disaster - the decorative moldings were removed and really messed up walls. Within one day his crew transformed the walls to be smooth again and the paint all looked great. Business methods are informal - there is no contract, although all pricing was honored, and I had to pick up paint at Sherwin Williams (not a big deal, some contractors provide that service), and Wilber never came to check on work when it was completed. I wonder if maybe these methods help keep down cost because the work is competitively priced and ultimately everything looks great and I will use the company again. Just thought I would mention in case some customers expect more formal methods.

For a small charge, they included the pantry, walls and ceiling. Painter showed up on time, prepped the surfaces, filling nail holes and smoothing nail pops and settling seams. Great service, excellent job.

 + 1 moreI had some issues, like did not come at anywhere the right time the first day they were suppose to. They have the materials with them to do repairs that would be expected of them. They did do the jobs I wanted done and went and brought back the materials needed to do the job. They finished the two jobs I wanted them to do in 2.5 hours, I hired them for 4 but I was satisfied with the work done and I thought the price was more than fair. Overall I could recommend.

 + -1 moreI had about 4 areas that needed attention, such as the wooden baseboard on the stairs leading down to my finished basement--there were lines of ugly cracks developing where the baseboard met the wall. And in the basement a few places were cracking close to the ceiling. The painter arrived on time. I showed him what needed to be done and he went right to work. I'm pleased with the work done and would hire this firm again.

The two person crew were constantly working in order to get as much done possible. Very dedicated to impress me on the final product, which turned out to be beautiful. An important advise provided to me by the crew, is never paint the walls before painting the ceiling first. Thanks so much Wilbur Painting.
Description of Work: Painting the ceiling and walls. Plastering of holes in the walls, however, I did provide the sheetrock for the large holes. The customer is required to provide all of the paint.

 + 2 moreWilber's painting did an excellent job yesterday at a fantastic price! I had a really annoying strip of ivy wallpaper outlining my kitchen that just would not come off, even scraping with hot vinegar and goo gone (as I had done with other wallpaper removal in the house). I also had significant damage to my ceiling due to a now-repaired water issue in the living room. Both jobs were expertly completed in just two hours. Wilber also explained to me that because the previous owners had decided to use cement board on the ceiling instead of drywall, the patch might prove more temporary in nature as we did not have an ideal masonry primer available. I decided to proceed anyway, content to have a nice looking ceiling for a little bit before tackling the job of completely replacing the ceiling. It looks great and because Wilber and his co-worker put down sheets of plastic while working and took them away when they were done, there was no clean up necessary afterwards. I will definitely hire Wilber again for future projects!
