Description of Work: I have use Progressive Painting to paint the interior and exterior of my house, and they did an excellent job. I have also hired them to clean the exterior of my windows. Progressive Painting goes the extra mile to provide excellent customer service.

Description of Work: I interviewed three contractors, all highly rated here. One didn't inspire confidence for reasons I won't elaborate, another quoted a price nearly double compared to Progressive. Allen Duvall of Progressive came out promptly to look at the job (full interior painting of a vacant 3-story rental townhouse), listened to what we wanted, made appropriate suggestions, and generally exuded competence and professionalism. It helped that the property was vacant and we are replacing all the floor coverings, but Allen's crew had the entire job done in TWO DAYS. Yes they sprayed, but this was a complicated job. White on the ceilings, semi-gloss white on the trim, and an off-white on the walls. Higher sheen in the kitchen and bathrooms, and ceiling white on the garage walls and ceiling. As promised they kept or cleaned paint off all door hardware, removed and cleaned and replaced all switch and outlet plates, and generally did a very neat job. Prep included minor drywall repairs and installation of some baseboard trim as part of the price. I was left with a gallon or more of extra paint of each type, clearly labeled. All in all very pleased at the service and professionalism shown by this family company.

 + 0 moreA lot of work to be done, particularly in replacing all of the exterior trim which had started to rot after 20 years of exposure. Progressive did an excellent job in literally rebuilding the exterior woodwork. The house is an English tudor style with a great deal of exterior highlighted woodwork. The house is also very tall - 2 story with higher than normal ceilings, and 3 stories exposed on the back side. Progressive did a super job getting everything looking brand new. We were extremely pleased with the work that was done by Progressive and recommended them to our next door neighbor who noticed the excellent work being done. We will definitely use Progressive again - lots of work to be done on the interior.
Description of Work: Power washed the exterior siding. Replaced all of the exterior trim. Cleaned, repaired, and painted all exterior wood surfaces.

 + -1 moreThe service was excellent. The attention to detail stood out. They did daily cleanup. I didn't even have to be around. They brought their own tools and their own everything. The price was good for the amount of work they had to do in the cold. They responded immediately to any questions. I will be contacting them in the near future for additional work. We've had many people work on our 125 year-old home and often we are not happy; I wish everybody was as professional and agreeable as they were. They were very nice people. The owner actually worked on it himself; it wasn't just subcontractors. He and another employee, who was equally as skilled, worked on it themselves, which was pretty impressive.
Description of Work: I used Progressive Painting for exterior painting of window sashes and trim on a 125 year-old house.

Description of Work: This is the second time I have used Progressive Painting to paint a one bedroom apartment. Both projects involved repairs in addition to painting to get the property ready for a new tenant. In both instances Thomas Privette worked very efficiently to complete the projects in record time and doing the work professionally and well. He is a very skilled craftsman with competence in a number of areas besides painting.
