Dave The Mover LLC

This is the second time I used Dave the Mover due to the great experience my wife and I had before. We had a large and heavy desk in the basement of our house we wanted moved into a spare bedroom on our second floor. Dave sent two members from his staff, Jose and Daryl, who made fast work of our desk. Jose and Daryl showed up early ready to move this desk three floors. Within an hour, they disassembled, moved and reassembled this desk without a scratch. I would recommend Dave the Mover to anyone in the Fredericksburg, VA area. They are top notch; reasonable in price, on time and his workers are courteous.

I purchased a 900 pound safe from a local establishment. There was no way I could move this safe by myself. Dave picked up the safe from the establishment and deliver it to my house, placing it in my basement for $360. The best part of this deal was he completed the work within three days. The three workers, Jose, Davon, and Mike G where hard working and courteous; cleaning up after themselves prior to leaving.

The movers arrived on time and were nice men. However, two movers weren't fluent in English and one had been working for the company for about a week. They damaged some of my furniture. The company did take some sort of responsibility for the bad service by refunding me $150. However, I wouldn't use this company again and would not recommend them.

Everything went extremely smoothly with the move. They were punctual, handled all of our belongings with care - furniture was very well wrapped in moving blankets with lots of tape. Would definitely recommend them to others and use them again.

Excellent- took great care wither personal property, asked me questions, helped me set up rooms at new house. Very friendly & efficient- worth every dime!

Movers were on time. Both very considerate, conscientious, and careful. This was not the first time I've done business with Dave.

Very well. A full staff handled moving heavy items. Including a treadmill to the second floor and around tight corners with no damage to walls, floors, or items.

Very punctual, here on time. The three worked as a team, especially moving the organ down stairs. Introduced themselves when they arrived.

On time, very pleasant to work with and finisher before estimated time.

Early, great communication. Called an hour before arrival. Didn't secure piano bench and it fell off of top of piano. Rapped upper half of piano only. Not the whole thing. Used open trailer. I was totally expecting a enclosed type of truck. Was worried about rock salt winter road deb re hitting piano. I don't think that this is how an instrument should be transported. Piano front legs are skinny and at one time was bent during unloading. The threaded attach end was loose so it flexed without damage. They did a good job of protecting house floor with mats. Overall it was an average "C" experience. If this was a gun safe it would be a different story. I feel a little more finesse is expected for a musical instrument and was expecting more. A couple of guys, small trailer with dolly's and you could do the same thing for free. Rent a small enclosed Uhaul with the piano dolly and you have a much more professional move.

On both moves had four men arrive on time. They worked fast and very hard. Were extremely polite and helpful.

Movers arrived on time, were very professional and did an excellent job. I have used them before and would most definitely use again.

They called 15 minutes before arrival. They showed up on time. They were very efficient and quickly loaded everything. They arrived at the new home timely and unloaded the furniture, very efficient. No damages. A good transaction.

They were punctual, friendly, cooperative and efficient. This was the 2nd time I had used this moving company and would use them again. I would also recommend them to a friend.

Two guys and a box truck arrived to help us move furniture and boxes across town. They got to work right away. They were courteous and friendly the whole time. We didn't have anything fancy or expensive, but it all arrived at its destination with no damage. They showed up a little later than the agreed upon time by less than an hour, but they had what I thought was a good excuse. Apparently the job from the day before was really large and they were still working on it. They left that job to come do ours because they had agreed to it and were going to continue the big job once they finished with ours. I thought the price was in the range expected for such a job. It wasn't a great bargain nor was it overly expensive. I would use them again.

They arrived on time, were polite and efficient. Did a great job.

Dave was very helpful and accomodated our tight schedule. We had to move furniture from my father's house to mine. Dave's movers where on time, very professional and were very careful with the antiques. Later in that same week, we asked Dave to help us move 2 pianos. The were very knowledgable about moving pianos (one was a baby grand) and they delivered both without a scratch. The baby grand was on the second floor with difficult steps! I would hire Dave the mover again.

The three movers came on time, were very nice, respectful and experienced. They even moved things around from the room I indicated to another after I changed my mind.

Lots of boxes, many quite heavy and half of them fragile. Arrived as planned. Worked quickly and efficiently. Packed valued items carefully for protection from damage. Very pleased with their work

They did an excellent job. They went above and beyond. It was very time efficient and fulfilled our time frame. They helped set up our bed frame and put everything where we asked them to put it. They were very professional too.
