Do not hire these amateurs. Waited 5 hours today for them to no call or no show. Office didnt respond either. Horribly unprofessional way to run a business. Would never consider them again.

I have used Ralph's Plumbing on several occasions over the last ten+ years. Always on time and very professional. When I called around, they were the most reasonably priced. Very nice people and would highly recommend.

Charged a ridiculous amount of money. At my house for less than 2 hours. Only diagnosed problem but didn’t fix it. Felt very taken advantage of.

Ralph's has to be one of the best plumbing and heating companies in the Richmond area. I've used them four times already. They arrive when they say they will and do quality work at a reasonable price. I am using them to replace a stacked washer/dryer in a 3rd floor condo unit and they have just been extremely accommodating. I also put my HVAC under a maintenance contract with them. I highly recommend Ralph's for any plumbing & heating.

I have used Ralph's several times and had excellent results. I probably would not use Ralph's on a big job or for fancy plumping, but just for the every day need to get this fixed stuff, you can't beat Ralph's work for the price

I have used them for years. They are extremely knowledgeable, there hasn't been anything they haven't been able to fix, and I've lived in a few old homes. They are pleasant to deal with. You might not get service right away, but they get to you as soon as they can. They presented us with a couple of options. They aren't going to be the cheapest plumber, but you get what you pay for.

The original fix only lasted for a day. Technician came back out and did a more thorough cleaning that solved the problem for good.

Very well. I definitely plan to use them again. I don't know if I would use them for a high end bathroom remodel, but for rough in work, you won't find this level of quality at this price anywhere else.

It was okay. I was not home when the job was being done. The job was completed and satisfied.

They came out and gave an estimate of the cost for what I wanted done, then followed-up with the exact cost. It was a bit hight than I expected, but after the service I have no regrets. They came the day and time they said they would. The guys did a great job! They were friendly and professional. When they discovered a problem we had not encountered, they were able to adjust and address that issue on the spot. They even answered some questions unrelated to the job at hand. It was a great experience and I would definitively use them again.

Excellent. I have used Ralph's Plumbing for a number of years. In one instance, they came late on Friday when a 2nd floor line was leaking into the downstairs kitchen. They have replace a number of shut off valves and other services throughout the house. The company is very responsive, the workers are professional, prompt and clean up afterwards. I will continue to use Ralph's for my plumbing.

The price was an awesome thing because they fixed a major clog and probably about seven leaks. The estimate that the inspector gave was like $500 and he didn't know about the clog. So I thought that was a really good deal. They came right out. I think they were out within a day. They also gave me advice. I have this old style washing machine that hooks up by the sink. I talked to them about giving me an estimate if I ever wanted to change that. They just seemed really knowledgeable. They cleaned everything. They put booties on and stuff like that. They were young. I was surprised that they seemed to know what they were doing. They seemed confident to know exactly what to do and how to do it.

Repair was done incorrectly the first time and leak reappeared. Company notified and different service man came and did it right at no extra charge.

They have serviced us since 1994. We wouldn't think of calling anyone else. |New pump in well/hot water heaters/faucet leaks etc. Ralph and/or his son Mike are Great!!!! A+++

Called on Monday to schedule a replacement of my hot water tank, spoke with a person (which I always appreciate, rather than an automated menu....) Katherine - very friendly and knowledgeable. We tentatively scheduled a time to have them come by to check on the work to be done about mid week as my hot water heater was leaking, but still working - we'd had a spell of some very extreme cold weather (so they were very busy trying to repair damage from frozen pipes, and addressing heating issues...) I called back to ask if they could also address a leak under the house at the same time, very agreeable to include that in the visit. Received a call back from Katherine mid day that someone could slip by Monday afternoon to look things over. Mike came by, we discussed the hot water heater (80 gal, electric, State) replacement and the leak under the house - again very personable, agreeable, knowledgeable, discussed pricing up front,took off shoes at front door, offered to repair the under house leak for cost of materials only (several dollars), he also took the time to educate me on pressure tanks (something for me to consider for ongoing maintenance and conservation of well pump), and he said he'd have the repairs/replacements done first thing Tuesday morning. Gary and Jerry arrived early Tuesday and got everything done inside of an hour - completely cleaned up. Again, very personable and polite (that's important to me) and told me the temp they set it to was how the previous hotwater heater was set, but if I decided in the future to change the temp to just give them a call and they'd slip by and adjust it for me. Was very pleased with Ralph's plumbing (I've used once before to help clean out some pipes draining slow from a kitchen sink in a rental property - also pleased with the service at that time). Would recommend and will use again in the future.

They were very good...did a good job and they were fair. I would give them an A overall.

Ralph's Plumbing came out and gave us a quote on putting in a new well pump. We have a well in our backyard and our old pump was under our home near our water heater. It broke one day and spewed water all over our water heater and ended up shorting out the water heater. We did not have a well pump for two years and then decided it was too long that we haven't been able to use our well. We looked for a contractor and we decided to call on Ralph's. They were pretty close by and seemed to have been in the business for a while. I called them and when Ralph came out we wound up talking for like a couple hours and it was a great conversation. Ralph himself is a very, very experienced plumber. He knew exactly what we needed and I felt at ease talking with him and I had all the confidence in the world in Ralph's plumbing. They came out on time and were well prepared to do the work. They put the new well pump actually in the well, now we won't have to worry about our water heater being shorted out again. They cleaned up after themselves and did an awesome job!!! We highly recommend Ralph's Plumbing.

I purchased a new kitchen faucet and called Ralph's to install it. They came on time and did a great job. I've used Ralph's many times and will continue to use them.

I have used Ralph's approximately 4 times in the last 5 years; each time I have been satisfied - they are first on my call list when I need a plumber. As an example: I have an old house and decided to replace a toilet. I first tried doing it myself (I've done it before in newer homes). This house had a corroded ring and required lead to be poured before the new toilet could be installed though - they had the skillset and tools to be able to do it. They are a relatively small company, and sometimes it can take a few days to get them - but if you can wait, they are definitely worth waiting for...pleasant, they meet their commitments, answer your questions, and they are presentable (as opposed to a plumber from another service that showed once and just "creeped me out").

Their prices are reasonable. There was one time in which there was water spraying in the tank of my toilet. They fixed that and also added a fixture to help the toilet flush more efficiently at no extra charge. I will continue to use them in them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Ralph came over the same day to save the tenants from cold water showers, and he could have easily said I needed a new hot water heater and all kinds of other things. I know nothing about plumbing. But he is extremely honest and competent, and I use ONLY his company for ALL of my plumbing AND heating AND air conditioning needs. His staff is great, too, (and friendly) and so is the receptionist at the company. I would absolutely recommend his company for any plumbing, heating, or cooling problems. The work is great, and the staff is honest.

We have them out all the time for plumbing issues. They will come right out if it is an emergency. We were pleased with the price we got. They were out at my house for several hours to finish the job. The faucets work great. There are no leaks from my sink. They did the job right the first time.

They did a wonderful job. They always clean up after themselves, and are very professional and courteous. I am also very pleased with their prices, which I find extremely reasonable. I have recommended them to friends, who have also used them. When I need a plumber, I know who to call.

Ralph's has handled heating and plumbing jobs for me for the last 15 years. I would recommend them to anyone.
