JES Foundation Repair

After waiting three months for the project to even be started we saw no work done. After these three months we canceled and went with someone else. In spite of JES taking a $2,600 down payment three months in advance and not spending any money on my project they will still not refund any of my deposit. It is against their policy to refund deposits. JES is a large company. It does business in several states. I am a one home owner. I do not have $2,600 extra. The deposit means a lot more to me then it does to them.

Overall they did a good job. However he project did not start or end on as scheduled. I had to tell them multiple times about things they had not done as contracted. The county inspector indicated that they had not done something right but it was over a month before they came to fix it and that was only after I called to to ask about it. The Office staff to which I communicated the problems were helpful and responsive to each of my calls. I waited for months to receive the final bill for the project and only received it after I called asking about it.

It went good only problem was..2 of my duck pipes got broke..but was quickly repaired

Took over 6 weeks to complete job properly. They had to send a different crew twice (after they thought they had finished job and requested final payment -prior to inspections) in order to correctly complete job and even the electricians had to come twice to install dehumidifiers/ light properly to pass code. The door to one crawlspace fits poorly and is difficult to remove and replace. The workers/ office personnel were very pleasant but it was very frustrating that it took so long to have the work done properly.

Never did give me a written estimate!!!

Foundation repair- maybe? but the work was crawl space french drains hooked up to a sump pump that tied into an oudoor downspout for drainage. All was performed professionally & I am satisfied with the results.

I was told what was going on with every step they took. They were very knowledgeable and polite from the salesman to the actual technicians that came and did the job.

The job was not engineered to fully correct the bowed-inward condition of the basement walls. I later learned that I was not given the option to do the work necessary to fully straighten the walls by digging a relief trench along the outer walls. The construction crew did a good job in installing the through wall anchor ties, however the walls did not straighten. I am told they will return each year for three years to tighten the wall anchors and perhaps this will straighten the walls. In the mean time I cannot put storage against the walls because they will need access to the walls each year. I am very disappointed. I thought they would have a certified engineer visit the site, then develop a plan. Instead a sales person made the plan which I was assured would correct the problem. I do not consider the job is completed and will not be completed for three years. I feel my money was wasted.

COMMUNICATION WAS TERRIBLE. FOLLOW-UP WAS NO BETTER. I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANY ONE TO USE THIS COMPANY.

The repairs are holding the ramp in place. We are very pleased with the repairs and the cost. I would highly recommend them to others.

Two many hoops to get to the right person for finishing the job. A lot of miscommunication between departments. Many calls made to finish job. Started out great but some items were ignored.

Agent was misleading took several calls to get some to come each one told us something different. Sold us huge dehumidifier that does not work. Bait and Switch tactics paid them nearly $5,000 to do what agent said we needed then next agent said we need didn't need that work at all now want $15,000 to redo to work. Same happened next door neighbor. Not very trustworthy. Bait and switch is their game. Seeing an attorney.

Leveling went very well, but joint caulking/filling left a great deal to be desired; crew did not have adequate amount of material to properly complete job and left some joints less than filled.

The crew that came out was very professional and efficient. The job was completed as expected

It took them over one month to get to the project. After they claimed it was completed, it was obvious, they missed one-third of the crawl space. It took two more months for them to get out and get that completed. Further, the quote that they initially gave me for the entire job did not include the other one-third of the crawl space that they claimed could not be accessed. There was a second access door that that section that was pointed out to their salesman initially, but was totally ignored. It took three plus months to do a job that I had another contractor complete on a similar project in two weeks. The quality of the work was also not up to the standards of the second contractor on my second project.

Work was done in a professional manor and on time .There was a problem which they resolved to our satisfaction.

I just had my crawlspace encapsulated by JES. The team that came to my house was outstanding. The foremen was Rattana San who should up and was extremely courteous when he rang my doorbell. He took the time to explain to me what they would be doing and asked if it was okay if they played music as they worked. He wanted to make sure his guys did not do anything that would disturb me. There were two other guys on his team Chicken Fleming and Curtis Harris. These three gentlemen where so quite a lot of times I forgot they were working until I heard power tools. Even when they came inside to cut the whole for the vent they worked quietly. If you need to have JES come and do any work at your house, you would be blessed if the team lead by Rattana San came out to do the work. They did an amazing job!
