JES Foundation Repair

JES has been responsive from the moment we requested an estimate though Angie's List. Emails and texts were timely and professional. The certified field inspector, Jeff Doyle, called ahead of the appointment to confirm he was en route. Upon inspecting the issue, he determined the water spot we were seeing on the basement floor was coming from the hot water heater and not from any leak in the exterior wall. I was appreciative for his honesty and professionalism. This level of customer service seems to be extinct most days so it was encouraging to know honest contractors still exist! Thank you, Jeff and thank you JES! I will definitely call you again should I have any issues with the basement.

All went well. Some issues with the foundation were worse than thought so the work took a little longer but it was definitely needed. Part of an addition had been built without proper foundation as in none. It was hanging in air. They made an extra trip to replace and fix drains that had to be removed. Took extra care to make sure as little damage to carpet as possible. Terrance Blackwell and crew came for the outside work. They were great. I really appreciated Terrance's extra trip to make sure the drains were fixed. Austin Wells and Peter Dang came for basement floor lift and level and I greatly appreciated their extra effort to take care of the carpets even though they had to drill through the floor. The little extras made a big difference. Good people, good work.

The work was done in a professional manner. They were friendly and willing to answer questions about the work. The company handled all permits and scheduling the county inspector to come and clear the job. It completely cleared up the leaking problem in the basement, and the foundation is good for the rest of the house's live. They cleaned up really well, there was no dust problem, and in the area they dug a trench, they even reseeded the lawn with grass seed. We were very happy with the work and feel like we are safe from any more foundation problems.

most inexperienced crew ever. they busted up my blocks and foundation, never had permit county made them get engineer to look at foundation he said that it was improper to nail anything to blocks and jes would have to fix all cracks and broken blocks. keep in mind house 1 year old at this point. they attempted to have their mason repair it but he was clearly high on pot. major ordor smelt all in my home while they were there. he drilled hole and pumped liquid nail in wall and said it should be good. brad the man in charge said fill with modur. however they hired private mason but only paid him to fix some of the damage. engineer was ordered by county to return to inspect property and jes came and took pictures of repaired places only and engineer sign off saying"upon his return" he never came back so job is still incomplete blocks still damaged and there supplies everywhere and debri an modur and broken block material everywhere.now they want to sue me because i only paid them deposit of 1500 never finished paying the remaining 6000 because they never finshed and tore my home up. now they are sueing me for close to 10000 for their bad work

JES employees were on time and professional in their work. We are very happy with the waterproofing done in our basement. Our basement is dry!

Very well for most of work. There was a discrepancy in the work plan as to where sump pump would be versus where it was actually placed. That was confusing but it worked out.

worste experience of my life they dont follow codes or get permits. they have no experienced mason to repair foundations or walls they had to hire third party to fix my house they destroyed with nailing foam board to blocks. if you have had this done check your foundation bet you have crackes joints and blocks. they refused to give me my deposit. job started nov7 2019 as of today 05212020 crawspace is a worse mess than ever and incomplete. they said they were gonna refund deposit then call and say i owe them money.

This went incredibly well! The crew of Brandon Epps, Raymond Jackson, and Laurel Williford we’re professional, skillful, and friendly. They were a joy to work with.

It went very well. Roberto's team came in, very respectful of our home, and work hard each day efficiently and completing their work in a week. The french drain going across the front of our house looks great! The foundation has been stabilized and cracks in our walls either gone or minimized. Roberto, Alan, and Jose worked extremely well together making huge accomplishments each day. They needed to repour the concrete slab on our front porch. The slab is beautiful! That was not luck. They waited long into the evening to ensure the slab was smooth and level! A dedication to perfection! When they were finished, the property was cleaned up, our side walk put back as it originally was (in some places better than it was).

It went very well after a slow start. It was discovered that more was needed to be done than what was initially anticipated. A permit needed to be applied for which took over 2 weeks for the county to approve. Once in hand, the work went quickly without difficulty. The men were friendly yet professional and worked until it was all completed. We were very pleased with what was accomplished.

The promised crew turned out to be one person. The equipment failed numerous times during the operation. The one crew member let it be known that this was his last week on the job that sucked. There was a hole left unfilled. When I reported that to the sales person who told us he was our contact I was told they will return to finish the job the next time in the area. that was over six months ago and the hole has never been filled. the concrete has a low spot that collect water at the top of the steps that turns to ice and is a hazard now in winter. Bottom line is we paid good money for p*** poor results.
