The job went well.
Description of Work: Owner Jared Stone came over and did an interior attic inspection with a thermal camera to pin point areas of cool air loss. He suggested an installation of Energy Foil in the attic as well as the knee walls. All was done efficiently and professionally. I paid by credit card for one half up front and the other half when completed. The job supervisor who came out to do the work with 2 associates arrived on time and was fast to finish and leave. All in All the upstairs bedroom seems cooler, but during July and August, the Foil will really be tested as a heat barrier.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a credit for work of attic crawlspace insulation and an inspection. When I was dealing with them, they weren’t very flexible. In September, they contacted me to let me know they were closing their Seattle office. Angie’s had to provide me with another company to complete the job for me.

Very well.
Description of Work: The representative came and showed me the material and how it could insulate our attic. I decided to do it myself, so I bought the insulation material and did just that. The rep was happy to help me figure out the best way to do it and what tools to use. All went well. I will use this company again.

Description of Work: Communication disparities occurred multiple times....and I basically got a little bit of caulking and a prod for the installation of a radiant foil barrier. I did not in the least feel like I got a "whole house energy inspection". I could have gotten a free estimate from any number of companies on the installation of a radiant barrier. Were the reps nice enough people....yes, but that is not really the point, is it?

Description of Work: I plan to have an installation in March that will insulate the attic of my 1930's home. This will be at a cost of $2600 and will include insulation and sealing the eaves around the attic. Member, Thanks for your feedback. I admit I am somewhat puzzled as I have not had the pleasure of your acquaintance and the property I visited was not the one listed on your account. I did meet with your son and daughter in law, and provided them with a quote on Energy Foil with the understanding that they would be speaking to you about it. The coupon is a $500 off credit on your insulation estimate, and does not provide for partial jobs as that would provide little benefit to the homeowner and there are very few attics that could be adequately insulated for $500 total. My regrets if any of that was unclear to you on your purchase of the coupon, and please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you wish to refund your $149! Best Regards, Howard
