+ -1 moreWe called Bob one night and told him what we had to be ground. He gave us a quote over the phone and came out the next day to grind the stumps. He did a great job and successfully got all of the roots of the once-sprawling maple tree. We knew that all he was going to do was grind the stumps--the cleanup was for us to do, but that wasn't so bad. He even offered tips about how to put soil and lime down so that grass would grow in the place where the large maple tree had stood. He told us that maple trees are very acidic and that we needed to remove as much of the wood chips left over from the grinding as possible so that grass would be able to grow there. We had grass growing in that area in just about 6 weeks! He was right!
Description of Work: Bob ground a total of 9 stumps in our yard. One stump was from a fairly large maple tree. The other eight stumps were relatively small trees.
