The technician was super friendly, they came to my house and showed me features of my equipment I didn't know were there. I had 5 previous technicians come who charged me money who didn't show me anything just said my equipment was fine. This guy came, showed me everything and didn't charge anything extra
Description of Work: Washing machine was not operating properly, manufacturer referred me here for help

The technician, although pleasant, to be lacking in the knowledge and skills to fix my fridge. In the process of installing a new ice maker, the technician broke a clip removing the upper shroud with no offer to replace it. First attempt to diagnose and repair the problems was in April 2014 and 5 visits later and now August 2014 the problem is still not fixed and icemaker and freezer remain unuseable. Through the several trips, they had diagnosed and replaced a defective ice maker, which probably wasn't, and a controller board/computer, the refrigerator still does not work with the new board either - no change. Several attempts to contact the office have failed and although voice mail requests for a call back were left, no call was returned. We were informed by the technician that since we do not have an extended warranty that we are placed behind those that do and that the service is more aggressive for those that do have the extended warranty. I would definitely NOT recommend this company for those seeking service on their appliances.
Description of Work: This company was dispatched via calling Lowes in Woodbridge and requesting service for our Whirlpool refrigerator, which was having issues maintaining the correct temperature in the freezer and poor to new output from the ice maker. The provider made five visits between April and August, suggesting at first that there was no problem, even though ice cream wouldn't even remain frozen properly and the thermometer that was placed in the freezer only registered 20 degrees, and culminating in replacing two parts and the technician snapping off a clip in the fridge.

This is the worst experience ever encountered with a company In my entire life. I have never written a negative review of any service technician before but this company deserves no business from anyone. If your value you time don't use this repair service!
Description of Work: Worst customer service I ever encountered. The Appliance Repair Center was dispatched through Lowes Warranty, the repair center is located an hour away from my residence. I called the day before to confirm the appointment as they were located a great distance from my address concerned that it may be difficult to take the service call. Jamie assured me the technician would arrive between 8-12. After taking the day off to meet the technician the lead technician at the home office who refused to provide his name related the technician would not have the part needed on his truck to make the service call. I stated I wanted the technician to come as I took off work. The home office refused to send the tech and hung up without providing a reason. Likely the service call was too far from their location and decided it didn't matter if they upset a customer that was located a great distance away. I called back Jamie (last name not provided) Wendy (last name not provided) and Andre (who hung up phone) all would not provide either the manager telephone number or name. Lowes provided Andre's name so I can contact the Better Business Bureau and file an official complaint. No service provided, refusal to come to location, hung up the phone when requesting to speak to manager.

Technician said I would get a call with an indication of repairs needed and projected cost within 24 hours. That call never came. I called repeatedly over the following week, each time told the individual who handled estimates was not available but would return my call. After over a week of no return calls I hired someone else to do the repair. I feel I paid for a diagnosis and repair estimate but got neither. The company refused to reimburse my $99.00.
Description of Work: Sent technician to diagnose problem with my refrigerator. That service cost $99.00.

Appliance repair came out 5 x's. each and every time their repair girls broke something else on my dishwasher. Scratched my hardwood flooring, broke pieces of our kitchen cabinet and caused a major leak in our kitchen & under our sink. According to the last repairman they sent on 6-4-2013, they had broken the spinning shell and also they broke the spray arm. They say they replaced the motor but dishwasher is still very loud. I called Lowes and demanded to have another company come out. Another repair company came out today and when they pulled the front off the dishwasher everything was broken. these people busted up the front of the dishwasher too along with the underneath. I will NEVER refer or use these people again.
Description of Work: They were called in by our extended warrant company to fix our 1 1/2 year old Kitchenaid quiet dishwasher. initial call was for blue lights constantly on and washer being very loud, not drying.
