Weller was outstanding; my wife was seriously-ill at the time we began this process and the Weller people were very helpful during the difficult process of selecting the tile. Their tilework was highly professional and staff were regularly on time and highly responsive to our needs and preferences. It was a pleasant experience working with Weller staff; their prices were were very fair and their work of the highest quality.

ON a Friday, promised to work with us (come over) following Monday. On that day I called them, unable to reach salesman I talked to Friday. Never heard from the company -- totally missing, off the face of the earth. A mystery.

Way too much hassle. The whole 'project management' side was sorely lacking - don't hire these folks unless they're working for a General Contractor. Ex: At the end of the job, they left me w/ the bathroom doors both left off, the toilet not replaced, the shower doors not replaced, the carpet at loose ends where they replaced the threshold.... basically an unusable bathroom. They don't do shower doors at all. After demo, they found that the one of the valve stems was leaking, and we needed a plumber. They had no ideas, so I was calling around frantically. The plumber forgot to hook something back up so when we turned the water back on it flooded the space, and the tile guys were about to just close it all back up - I insisted they replace one really soaked piece of drywall. They sent a different crew about every day, so we had to start over again w/ the instructions. As a matter of fact, I joined Angie's List just after this job-wish I had joined before and seen the D!

It looks great but the shower and floor both leaked. The plumber fixed the problem with the drain pan on the shower (should not have been necessary) and told me to keep the drain vents clear - their crew caulked them shut twice. Also, they installed the wrong type of threshold to the bathroom and I had to get them back to replace it. Nonetheless, after much aggravation I have a good looking job at a great price. I used them previously on rental property with good results, but apparently this job was more complicated than their crew was comfortable with.

Too much chasing the company down to get firm dates. Too little interest in providing labor when customer already has product to be installed. Cumulative effect of many rated fair and bad made the whole experience lousy. General: Too much demand in this area from the few service providers available - vendors are taking advantage of homeowners.
