+ -1 moreRetiring out of the Army after 24 years, we were living in Valrico, Florida and I got a job in Northern Virginia. My wife found Andrea Shatz Hayes, Realtor while e-mailing the people while looking at houses available for sale or rent sites. She stumbled across Andrea who quickly searched for houses that fit our budget and amenities desired. We found a beautiful house, but it had no fence. Andrea was able to get the owner to get a fence. Additionally, she was able to get a fair pet deposit price as the owner was originally asking for $1500. Andrea even communicated with me at 10 pm at night when I needed her assistance -- she was there. Additionally, I was here in Reston and my wife was still in Florida -- Andrea has a program that allows me to sign the application or lease and then it e-mails it to my wife for her signature. Working with Andrea was fast and easy. We will definitely use her services again when we buy a house in the coming year.
Description of Work: Assisted us in finding a rental house that met our budget, within the school zone we wanted, and the amenities needed/wanted. Her schedule was flexible and she showed me houses in the evening and the morning. I would send her an e-mail or leave a message and she would do the research and respond within 30 minutes. She cares! She even brought and introduced other agents that worked for her in case she was unavailable showing/closing on other houses. That never happened, but we appreciate the fact that we were always able to see a property when we wanted.
