My AC failed and I had limited time to find a good solution, I made a phone call to Relax HVAC based on the online reviews and it was a great decision. Nasser came to check the situation, he gave a very detailed and comprehensive overview of the situation and provided with the options I had. I decided to replace the unit, Nasser went above and beyond to find a unit delivery service but there was nothing available over the weekend so this gentleman went for unit pick up himself and finished the installation within a day from my initial call. Moreover, the provided price was very reasonable.I can't be more happy with the outcome and highly recommend Relax HVAC

Although the AC unit was working, it was leaking water. I had another company come in and tell me that the main drain pan was cracked and that it would cost $2880 to repair or I could buy a new unit costing over $8500 dollars. I called Relax Air for a second opinion. Kamal and his crew came out the next day and confirmed that the drain pan was cracked and leaking. His repair cost? $400. I also had him do two other HVAC related jobs while he was there (replacing AC disconnect box and installing a water float switch]. They had everything done in and hour and a half. Total cost: $675. Kamal is fast, efficient and most of all honest. I would recommend him to anyone.

Relax Air was awesome. I called them on a Monday and by that Friday I had a new AC unit. Very professional, competitive priced. I would recommend them for any HVAC service.

Kamal diagnosed and completely repaired a failure with our upstairs ac/heat pump that was having high/low stage lockouts. Neither the ac or heat pump was working. He replaced the compressor which had died, replaced the TX valve in the attic, which was installed incorrectly by the original installer, flushed the line and checked for leaks, etc. In a quick turnaround time. Kamal communicated every step of his repair and was very honest and responsive. Everything is now working perfectly. This is a complicated system to repair, and the expertise, timeliness and the VERY fair price Kamal gave to us made it a First Class job. Great work!

Had a great experience with Kamal. He is helpful, knowledgable and very dependable. We had a crisis with our old hvac system and were freezing. Kamal was the only one who came within 2 hours on a holiday while others were available only the next day or later. Most were closed that day. I got a great deal on the new SEER16 hvac and have been happy with it. My electric bill has cut down to almost half. Also he offers 2 years of his company’s warranty in addition to the manufacturers 10 year warranty. Highly recommend Kamal and will be using him for future.

My house was freezing and I called 3 companies that did not want to come out to my house at 7:30 at night. I called Relax Air and was told he would be there within an hour. Best decision I could have made. Nassra was prompt, fast and his price was good. He had the heat back on within 30 minutes of arrival and made some recommendations for future consideration. A+++

Kamal returned my call immediately and was at my house in 90 minutes - unit was working an hour later. Great experience - 100% recommend.

Nasser and team including Ali, Kamal did a great job. Plus pricing was very competitive. Nasser explained different available options for HVAC system, and recommended option with most value.

Nasser took measurements, gave me an estimate for the work, and went off to have the parts custom cut. The problem with the T-Box was that it had no baffles to provide laminar air flow, and created a lot of turbulence which prevented even distribution of air. It also caused major condensation which was the source of the rust. Nasser and two assistants came on Monday a fortnight later, cut out the offending parts, and installed the new T-box with interior flow vanes and ducts. Nasser had estimated it would take 3 hours, but it ended up taking 8. He did not increase the bill! He kept us informed, and apologized for the extra time. He completely disassembled the furnace, disconnected and removed the AC coils, and, cleaned everything, before reassembling and installing the new duct work, which he also insulated on the outside. We tested the heat and AC before he left. Good Job Nasser & Team.

Superb service by Relax Air!! I contacted Kamal for a second opinion after a different HVAC company quoted me a very large number for repair of capacitor and fan motor. My home in Ashburn is rented out and my tenants needed AC quickly. Kamal was extremely knowledgeable, polite, caring and professional. He came out the same day to repair the unit. His honesty is greatly appreciated. He discovered that there was nothing wrong with my fan motor (!!) and only my capacitor needed replacing. He cleaned and straightened the unit and saved me a very large sum of money. Great job Kamal, I would highly recommend your services to anyone. Thank you again.

Nasser answered the phone, and said he could be here in 30 minutes, 20 minutes later he was here. It was going to be so cold last night that we definitely needed the heat working. Nasser was knowledgeable and polite. I had also called two other companies, one said he could not come out tonight, another never called back.

Kamal was very accommodating with time and he was friendly and fixed my problem inside of 10 minutes!! I would highly recommend Relax Air. It was eight o'clock at night and the out side temperature was around 35. The indoor had dropped to 64...we though it was getting cooler! I went to Angie's List and saw Nasser's site, Relax Air, on the list. As he was a short drive away so I thought I'd take a chance. Nasser arrived by nine o'clock, listened to my description of the problem (the burner would fire but after 10 seconds go out) and knew right away what the problem was...a flame sensor. Problem solved, Very professional. There is also a problem with the humidifier, and I have asked Nasser to come back in the the day time...and have a look. The breakdown in cost was 98 for the sensor, 85 for labor, and 75 call-out fee.

I have used Relax Air services twice in the past. On November 19th my water heater stopped producing hot water, I've called Nasser to come over to assess what needed to be done. On Monday Nov. 21st he replaced my old water heater (21 years old) Nasser is honest and very reliable. He is very reasonable with his pricing (I have compared Nasser's pricing to my next door neighbors water heater replacement cost). I would highly recommend Relax Air. A huge THANK YOU to Nasser...Relax Air is the ONLY company for my Heating And Air Conditioning needs!

Called another company I was familiar with but had to pursue them for 5 days! No heat and told it was best to replace the entire unit by 3rd day and they'd order the parts (3 men, 4 hours, & $3k was what I was told). Finally, decided it was too much suffering and temps were dropping. Called Relax Air and he came within the hour, did a thorough analysis. Very professional. The final outcome was one of 3 parts were broken. Also a parts dealer, returned with the parts and tried each one. It was the module, fixed in one day, and for under $1k. He also checked/fixed the humidifier (which said initial company said they did upon initial repair visit and 2 yrs ago for regular maintenance) and adjusted the heating so the house is now perfectly balanced. After 4 years living here, finally no more cold spots!

I was very impressed with this company. I have worked with "others" for the last 9 years, and found Relax Air to be much more cost effective, with much more KINDNESS, care, concern and follow up. Everything was handled expeditiously and with professionalism and they were very willing to work with me on price and budget. All these things certainly set them apart - and they truly care about their work and the satisfaction of their customers. In addition to the replacement of the downstairs system, I have had ongoing years and years of problems with my upstairs unit with it neither cooling or heating effectively. It has been looked at and "worked on" many times. NO ONE in the past had identified that the duct work was failing and needed resealed in many places, nor the fact that the attic fan was not only not working but was entirely disconnected. These things were fixed for me on a separate visit - and my upstairs is now so cold in summer that I had to add blankets! Love it! I am a very discerning (some might say picky) customer - and for me to tell you that I have the utmost respect for these folks and would always use them again, and again.....truly means something. I don't throw around idle praise - but can't say enough good things here.

This contractor was polite, respectful to my home environment, and extremely friendly. In a way, I felt like I had a family member over for help. He spend time and much effort to make sure my fridge was working properly and waited enough to make sure it stayed working properly. While waiting for assurance, he even took time to look at my water heater to make sure it is set up properly since I had asked him for advice on this water heater. By the time this contractor was completely done, I felt like I had a friend who happen to be a contractor forever. After negotiation for the price he removed existing ole unite from my attic and replaced new system. it was a very hot day with temperature of 100+f, but he vigorously finished the job regardless of difficulties and harsh condition. He cleaned after himself and took the old unit out of the site with him. He connect all the electrical wires, mechanical components including piping, pumps and condenser out side.

He was on time, he cleaned up everything. He took pictures he showed us the faulty areas and repairs he did. He also made sure everything he did was working. He was very thourough.
