They came ahead of time to look at the panel to ensure it was what they were expecting. They came and did the work as planned, were prompt, and did a good job cleaning up. I was happy with the service.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out great. My experience with them went great. The guy came out and did what he had to do. I got more than my money's worth on it, so I was happy. I did not pay him anything extra other than the big deal purchase. He was personable. His professionalism and responsiveness to my needs was excellent. He did a good job and cleaned up after himself. I am considering rehiring him for another job.

Rene has done quality work for me on five separate projects in the past year and always charged me a reasonable price. His Business Description ?? quality repairs without high prices? is what drew me to him, as opposed to many other choices on Angie?s List. This week, that all changed during his installation of LED lights. From start to finish, Rene worked for five hours and charged me $913.75 (or $182.75/hour). When I balked at the charge, he lowered it to $800.00 ($160.00/hr). During the install, his brother joined him. His brother is minimally qualified, slow, spent a lot time on his cell phone, and Rene had to correct his brother?s install of a dimmer. However, it appears I was charged the full hourly rate for his time. Additionally, there was no mention by Rene of the special he was running on Angie?s List (38% discount for first $200.00), nor was there a 'volume discount' or consideration for a senior, who pays immediately after the job. To check on the need to realign my expectations as to pricing, I called several 'electricians' from Angie?s list and learned that three of four contacted quoted the job for less money (one for nearly half price from Rene?s charge). Bottom line, you always want to confirm the price with your electrician before the job; even if you?ve had good experiences with the same individual. Also, make sure you know who will be doing the work. When these things happen, without warning, it?s easy for a loyal customer to lose faith in a contractor. In the future, I will not count on the reciprocal loyalty of a contractor but will shop Angie?s List on each occasion.

Electrician will not come to my home, less than 18 miles from his office, without charging extra.

Rene was extremely professional during the instal, cleaned up afterwards and stayed to test the system with the generator to make sure everything worked properly and that I knew how to run it correctly. The work he performed was great and performed to expectations and he came out to perform the work promptly. However, I was a little disappointed that he wouldn't accept the Angie's List coupon being offered at that time for the RC Electrical services of $89 for $200 of electrical work. I had called other electricians and they had stated that they would accept the coupon caveating that any job that would normally cost above $200 I would have to make up the difference (i.e., $400 job would cost $289.00). However, once identifying where I lived, most other electricians were unwilling to drive out to my town as it is pretty far out in the middle of nowhere. Based off of the reviews of on his company and that his company was the only one willing to come out to perform the work within the next 2 months, I figured that price he was quoting was still worth the cost (time vs cost).

I went with RC Electrical Services (RCES) based on Angie's List. I also wanted to use someone local..so RCES fit the bill. It took a couple of days for RCES to respond to my online inquiry and phone call. But, once he contacted me, all went pretty smoothly. I believe RCES is a one man operation. RCES arrived the day after contact was made to give me an estimate for hardwire installation of under cabinet lights (5 total) in the kitchen and a recessed light installation in a hallway. The quote was for labor only for the under cabinet lights but RCES provided the labor AND materials for the recessed light in the hallway. At the time, I was waiting for another quote from another reputable electrical contractor for the same job. RCES's quote looked much more attractive than the competing quote and RCES is a master electrician. So, I decided to with RCES. RCES arrived at the scheduled time. RCES was friendly, courteous and cleaned up well after the work was done. The under cabinet lights and recessed light were very nicely installed. One minor gripe was that the 4" x 4" holes in the wall (5 total) which he cut out to fish electrical wires were not included in the quote. I had told RCES earlier that we were going to get a backsplash installed so we wanted to get under cabinet lights prior to the installation of the back splash. So, I think he was under the impression that the tile contractor was going to repair the holes before they install tile. The problem was that our tile will take another 6-8 wks until arrival (special order). RCES charges separately for the repair of holes. And, the tile contractor we're using charges $50 per hole to repair due to cabinet light install. I figured I would repair the holes myself so I went out to the local HD and bought materials to repair the 5 holes and saved $$$. I would use RCES again and, in fact, I have already gotten a quote for installing more recessed lights in our family room (this time, I made sure the quote included repair of holes). RCES spent a total of about 5 hours to finish the job; and, for the quality of work RCES performed, it was money well spent.

He arrived on time, was very polite, and quickly took care of the work at a very reasonable price. Great job and I found an electrician I can count on!

Excellent work. Rene instlaled 2 cieling fans, and 2 chadeliers. Definitely the best prices with excellent results. I will definitely be using Rene in the future when I need an electrician.

Rene showed up on time with a helper and was done in 4 hours. He installed a 100amp subpanel from the finished electrical panel of my house (in a finished rec room) to a unfinished storage area (have to add some circuits and didn't want to have to keep cutting into the drywall around the main panel). He moved a couple circuits to make room for the subpanel as well. He did a great job installing the new subpanel, cutting a minimum amount of holes to fish the cable. After he was done he patched all his holes (very good job doing this) and cleaned up everything. Definitely would recommend again.

We called RC electrical because of all the good reviews on Angie's list. Although it took two calls from us to get a response, they were able to come out the next day. The communicated by text to ask about the appointment which was handy. They showed up promptly and were able to diagnose and fix the problem in one hour. The price was as quoted with no extra charges. We would call again if we need electrical service in the future.

He was on time. Did a good job inspecting the electrical in the attic. He addressed and fixed all issues

He came right on time and fixed the non-working outside night-light next to the front door. Turns out the wiring inside had come undone. It was freezing cold outside that day but he completed the job perfectly.

He is very professional and I would recommend him. I initially called him to do a job and then I had him come back out and do another job. I brought the coupon from Angie’s List for him, so I used him for that. Then he gave me an estimate for another job when he was here and I had him come back out and do that job as he was that professional the first time.

I was very pleased with the job Rene performed. He quoted me a reasonable price for 2 light wiring jobs, one including a new switch and circuit. He arrived on time and performed the work efficiently and accurately. The second job actually ended up being more difficult than anticipated, but he performed the work in the same professional manner. I will definitely use Rene again for any electrical jobs to come up.

It was perfect. I could not be happier. I needed additional work done. We discussed the additional services prior to him coming out. He was very courteous. He did the work for me. I paid him a little bit more but it was worth it. He did work that was not part of the deal. He was very upfront about what the cost would be and how much time he would take, etc. I would definitely use their services again even if it is not a big deal. He was on time. He was very reasonable. He did more than I expected. There weren't any dislikes about the service.

Rene of RC Electrical Services did an excellent job. I am very happy with his work and has already referred to my friends. I initially contacted RC Electrical Services for adding a sub panel when we were finishing our basement. We end up expanded our scope and he ended doing all the electric work for my basement. All of his work passed the county inspections in flying colors as well. He also helped us mount a TV in our family room. His cost was much more reasonable compare to some other estimates I got. It went extremely well. All county inspections were passed. Very happy with the results.

The work was completed very efficiently. For 2 hours the electrician did a lot of work and I had a few light switches for him to replace if he was done early. He arrived on time, was very polite to my wife and cleaned up after the work what more can you ask?

We purchased 2 hours of electrical service for $125 (+$25 for parts). RC Electrical was very responsive, and the job went well. The electrician took a little longer than 2 hours to finish the job but didn't charge for the extra time. Based on this experience, we intend to get a quote from RC on some bigger electrical projects next year.

tech came to assess an old fixture in the basement where the bulb was intermittently blinking, like a bad connection. The technician was diligent in searching this out and discovered that there was a potential fire hazard as wires inside the fixture were burnt. He replaced and rewired that fixture. In addition, he came to install a new transducer in a fixture in the kitchen. Despite me giving him the numbers ahead of time, the transformer did not fit, so he went out and replaced the fixture with the same one. The tech. was professional and courteous, efficient and cleaned up after his work. Highly recommend him.

Great! They were fabulous. He was prompt, he was very good, he understood the problem and fixed it.

Rene did an outstanding job! Rene scheduled a site visit to see the work to be performed and discuss if the 3-hour advertised time frame was enough to complete. He felt the time was appropriate, but there would be some additional materials cost for wire and the new recessed lighting canister. We agreed at a fixed price of $250. Due the construction of the addition where the dining room chandelier is located, Rene ran into significant structural issues. This resulted in him having to create 2 more holes in the ceiling than anticipated in order to maintain to-code work and also avoid having a junction box and plate in the middle of the ceiling. These additional cuts were made with my consent and ended up taking significantly more time than quoted. Rene did it all with the utmost professionalism and the completed job is terrific. Despite the 'time-overage', the fixed price was honored and no additional fees were added.

Replaced chandelier, two wall sockets. Outstanding work.

Rene is a quite man, he knows what he is doing. Simply he is the best!!!!!
