Failure. We bought a 'coupon" from Angie's List for just $150 worth of work, which he quickly pushed into an "upsale" to do the 3 walls of the 9 foot tall shower, but NOT the floor. On the surface it looked new, but 6 months later we were regretted having called Looney's. THIS IS THE BIGGER LET DOWN.....Next, he said he could do a professional job for the caulking around the tub. I was c r y s t a l clear I expected a job that was better than what I could do myself with a tube of caulk. I have trouble removing the old caulk because I am not very strong. I expected him to remove the old caulk as a professional would do. He said he would do a professional job. But, turns out, he only overlaid the old caulk with new. LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THIS POOR QUALITY WORK. He did not do a professional job by removing the old caulk before glossing over it. Today, I have the same problems in the same spots. He did a sloppy job under the tub faucet and handles. It was *not* better than what I can do myself. He arrived promptly at 9 AM. He was gone before 12 noon. To do both jobs right, he should have taken close to a full day. He was paid over $500 for less than half a day's work. He skimped and left us with poor quality work. He did NOT clean up thoroughly after himself, so I had to act as his maid behind him. I was told the warranty would be for 5 years. Liar. When I called, emailed, and contacted them later, I was told 6 months was the new warranty. This part gets insulting: First, I was told there would be full charge for a "repeat" visit. It was not until AFTER I said I was going to post a review on Angie's List, that I was suddenly contacted saying they would honor their original warranty and fix it. They have already lost my trust. DO not trust Looney's in your home! I do not want them back in mine. I do not recommend Looney's Tile & Grout because of their failure to provide a professional job, lack of hassel free warranty, and inadequate customer service. I expected a professional job, instead, I was taken to the cleaners. I think Looney's Tile preys on Angie's List customers.

This is the second time I have used this company, and I could not be more impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. Their employees are on time, polite, and maintain a clean work environment while restoring your tile to "like new" condition.

Michael the owner was prompt & professional in delivering quote. He was eager to make sure I felt there was value associated with the quote & added additional services to meet their desired minimum of $250. We were very satisfied with the price and most importantly.

The service turned out very well. They came out promptly.

Michael was very professional and education. We initially called him for an estimate on tearing down a backsplash, he pointed out that we didn't want his sort of services, but told us who we should call (drywall person who paints), and what to ask. We then asked him about some cracks in our tiled shower pan floor, and he gave us a good education of what was going on and why we shouldn't bother worrying about it until we're ready to do a major remodel. I can't evaluate his work because he talked us out of hiring him for anything, but I can say that he is very professional and not out to gouge the customer. If and when we ever need tile work done, he's on the short list of people to call.

Everything turned out wonderful. The grout looks fantastic. I was quite pleased with the work & the company.

This is an Angie's List "Big Deal" that I purchased for re-calking a shower. They came over to take a look at the scope of the job. I added on the re-calking of our tub. They were punctual and thorough. After the job they reviewed with me what had been done. I'm pleased with their work.

The laying of our floor was fairly uneventful. Other than the fact that the grout is now coming out in the stairs of one of our bedrooms. The owner, Michael Looney, promised this was would be fixed. We were also supposed to be reimbursed for the grout we purchased. Neither thing happened. With one bathroom, we selected and paid for a glass tile. The tile was chipped so badly when it was cut that we could see the waterproof sealer under the tile. So, we paid for a second set of tile. It was installed but the niche was not done properly and had to be redone. When Mr. Looney came out to see the master bath (notes in a moment), he agreed that the grout job on the 2nd set of tile in this bathroom was not good. So, it was redone. Total redos on this bathroom: 3. With the floor and walk in shower: We paid in full on December 15th. All tile was paid for. The tile took a couple of days to come in but they couldn't install until 2/4/16. Install #1: The floor in the walk in shower was not sloped properly and water ran into the entire bathroom. Install #2: The slope was demo'd, and redone. The tile job was awful. Install #3. Tile work was redone. Install #4: Water was still leaking into bathroom. Mr. Looney came out and agreed the slope was not sufficient. He brought his "expert" with him (tiler #2). We all agreed it needed more slope. Additionally, the seat in the walk in area had no slope, and the glass mosaic tile was broken and chipped. Hmm. Almost like the glass tile in the first bathroom that we paid to replace. Could it be that the tiler didn't know how to cut glass tile? No worries, Mr. Looney's expert would get it right. Install #5. Upon completion, there is NO SLOPE, the wrong type of Schluter trim has been installed, and the drain is CROOKED. The entire bathroom floods when the shower is turned on. Install #6. Mr. Looney comes out and agrees it is not correct. No worries. Tiler #3 is there and will get it straight. Well, after 3 days of work, we see the result and we are in shock. The penny tile looks awful. In fact, the pieces were actually cut in half to fill in massive slots in the grout where the tile work was so bad. Mr. Looney's response? The only issue left is cosmetic. Isn't tile put in to make it cosmetically beautiful? Not ugly? He certainly wouldn't know if it drains properly because he hasn't been here. And no other tile companies will warranty another companies tile work. So we will have to eat the cost of more tile, demo, and labor. We have lost 6 months on this. We have been inconvenienced during several large family events in our home because there is no shower that can be used, one of them our son who is a Marine and been away on a deployment. Mr. Looney promised this bathroom would be done because it is in his bedroom. Stay away from this company. They don't know what they are doing. We learned the hard way. 6 attempts at one shower, 3 attempts on the other, and cracking grout in our floors. Thousands of dollars down the drain. Money we don't have. Mr. Looney does.

It took a few days for them to return my call and leave a message on my phone. After that, I could never reach them to schedule an estimate. When I called, the phone just rang or I was diverted to voice mail. No one returned my calls thereafter. I thought this was very unprofessional and would recommend avoiding this provider. I can only imagine how timely their work would be.

The technician called to let us know exactly when he would arrive. Before starting, he discussed all areas of our project. He took his time and did excellent work. We were amazed at how much better our bathrooms looked after he was finished. We are extremely pleased with how everything turned out.

Great. They kept to the price ($89 for re-caulking under the coupon plus just $30 on the grout work they recommended), came on time and were polite and professional. EXACTLY what they promised.

I can't say enough good about Looney's Tile & Grout! Michael Looney, the business owner, came to do the assessment, and was absolutely on-time punctual and most professional in his examination of the shower and review of what we needed. He explained all the work that he proposed to do, and was direct and forthright in answering questions. The company's charming and capable scheduler was in contact with us very quickly after the assessment, and soon we had a date for the work to be done. On the agreed date, Estuardo, the workman, arrived on time, and worked quickly, taking about 3 hours to strip off the old grouting and replace it and seal it. This included a 25 minute wait for grout to cure before finishing up the work. He cleaned up thoroughly and removed all the old grout and other materials for disposal. Like his boss, Estuardo was 100 percent professional, friendly, and explained what he had done clearly. He also gave us clear instructions on how long to wait until we could use the shower again. We would recommend Looney's Tile & Grout to anyone who wants a first-class job done!

Some of the grout and all the caulking in two relatively new bathrooms had deteriorated and needed replacement. Looney showed up on time--but at my daughter's house! When the specialist called to tell me he was outside, we discovered that Angie's List had changed my address to reflect my daughter's recent move. Nevertheless, he drove to the correct address immediately and went over what needed to be done. The finished product, completed in about two hours, was perfection, better than it looked .when it was brand-new.

We purchased the $89 Big Deal to have our shower caulked. Mr. Looney came out to inspect the shower. At our request, he gave an estimate to replace the caulking around other fixtures. He checked for moisture behind the tiles as well. We accepted the proposal to complete all the work and were able to schedule an appointment about a week out. The technician, Frank, arrived within the window, and called ahead as promised. He completely removed the old caulking and replaced with a high quality product. The three people we interacted with at Looney Tile and Grout were professional and very nice - the owner Michael Looney, Amy at the office, and the technician Frank. We will consider using this company again in the future. We were pleased to learn that they will work on small jobs, something that is difficult to find among tiling contractors.

Mike Looney was extremely responsive and provided a very detailed and professional estimate. He was helpful and courteous, and kept in contact with me with problems found when the old tile was taken out. The follow up was excellent and very prompt. Amy in the office was a joy to work with. She was very helpful and coordinated other necessary contractors (plumbers, etc.) on my behalf. Sanchez and his helper who actually installed the new tile was courteous, prompt and very efficient. He is also an artist - his suggestions were right on point and added to the project. My bathroom is beautiful and the whole project - tear down to finish - was 4 days! Note that's just the tile. A little longer for plumbing re hook up and shower door. I would definitely hire Looney's again.

Provider came out to examine our shower and advised that the service could not be performed due to the nature of our shower. Provider advised that our shower would soon require replacement due to moisture within the tiles.

All communications were pleasant and timely. Someone came out to review the work I had requested. Unfortunately, they were unable to perform the work and I am requested a refund of the deal.

Getting a quote and setting up a time for the work was great. They were very responsive to questions and went through the quote in detail. They did fantastic work. Shower looked amazing when done. Huge difference. Work area was clean when they left. They even knocked some cost off the deep cleaning since it was not as much work as expected. I would absolutely use them again.

Looney's reached out to me to redo the shower the job that had been done 6 months ago. I explained that the mold had come back worse than originally and the caulking was already pulling away. They apologized and were very responsive about fixing this at not cost to us. We were not intending to use them again and they asked for a second chance. I have rarely seen a vendor be so willing to make something right and work so hard to do so. Mistakes happen but Looney's proved the adage that how you address the mistake is everything. They are very professional and Frank explained why he thought what had happened. He offered us concrete suggestions for this not to happen again. The original cost was $1200. Overall--I would recommend this firm. They know what they are doing. And while they acknolwedged the mistake they did everything and more to make it right. They really put the customer first. And the showers (2) look great.

I contacted Looney?s Tile and Grout after finding them on Angie?s List. Their reviews on Angie?s List were very good. Initially I was going to have the tile floors in two small bathrooms redone as well as some regrouting in all of the bathrooms, but during the process discovered our master shower had quite a bit of moisture. We ended up doing this job in two phases with the retile of the floors in one phase and the master shower retile in another. Both jobs took about a week each in December of 2015. The supervisor, Franks, was great to work with. He was always available for questions whether in the evening or on weekends when we were shopping for tile. He always responded immediately. We purchased our own tile, but Franks was always able to help for things we could not find such as a threshold, etc. The tile work was done well and the crew cleaned up and did not leave a mess. Franks always kept us informed and Looney?s did everything to work with our schedule. I compared Looney?s prices to other vendors and I found them to be competitive if not better in most cases. I would definitely call them again if we have any additional tile needs.

It went well. Job done well for the price. Had a small problem that they compensated me well for. Would recommend.

Gentleman was on time and cleaned and repaired the grout in the master bathroom shower. The shower looked great. He left information on what to use and what not to use on the grout and tile (which I had been using the wrong products) . Now I need to get him back to do the other bathroom.
