Came to give estimate and worked with us on both price and schedule. We were trying to get the work done before having a lot of furniture moved in (though there was already some furniture in place). They worked with us to meet our budget and a large team came and worked a single day from 8 in the morning until 10 at night less than a week after the estimate in order to get the job done quickly. Perfect experience.

They were very easy and accommodating from initial conversations all the way through till the end. I would send out e-mails and they were always responded to immediately. I hadn't ordered floor boards, but realized that I needed them and they had them ready in one day. Overall the experience was above expectations.

Bismarck was on time for everything and is available via email. Two huge pluses in my book. He was on time to provide an estimate and beat the next lowest by about 30 percent. His team showed up exactly when they said, they would and there was enough of them that they finished all the work in less then one day. They were professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I left them alone all day. After getting home there were a few minor touch ups that were required. I called Bismarck and they promised to be out the next day to take care of - no questions, no complaining, no nothing. I enjoyed working with Lomar so much that I had them come out and give me an estimate on rebuilding my deck.

Outstanding from the beginning to the end. Bismarck actually answered my first phone call to the company and stayed in contact throughout the job. He was on time for every appointment we had. He took great pride in his company's work because the week we had scheduled was very rainy. He stopped the work when it looked like it was going to rain, and then resumed the work after he was sure that it wouldn't rain again. I would highly recommend Lomar painting to anyone. I am extremely satisfied which is an unexpected feeling in the Greater Washington area.

It went better than most. When they came to do the work they seemed fairly competent. My complaint was that when I added additional work, I didn't know how much it was going to cost. When I got the bill it was higher than I had expected.

They generally did good work but there was somethings they didn't do as well as I had hoped for in certain areas. They were on time and they worked hard and steadily. Just make sure that you tell them exactly what to paint like small things like the inside of closets. We thought their prices were fair. We only did one color painted. The owner did come back and did a walk through and did any touch ups that we saw that day. We did have to do some of the clean up that they had missed. Overall I would use them again, but I would go over everything before they painted if I was to use them again. They were very nice to deal with. They were very fast.

They did arrive on time to do the estimate. Their price was reasonably quoted. They were very polite and kind when they did arrive. They didn't try to push me into buying anything that I didn't need to.

As promised - showed on time and completed on time.

We hired Lomar Painting after getting five estimates from companies that specialize in painting. Lomar is owned by Bismarck Lopez. When I first met him for the estimate he impressed me as a straight forward, honest individual. He did not play games with the job or the pricing. First he surveyed the house, then we discussed the job. Our house is a two story house with a brick front and siding, but there is a lot of trim work, dormers, shutters and a front porch to paint. Also, we decided to have the interior of the garage painted, which had its original, unpainted, sheetrock. Within a day, Bismarck emailed his offer sheet to me. His price was in the ballpark with the other estimates. The work itself was professionally done. His workers did not leave a mess. My wife and I were very pleased with the results. The bottom line for this company is that he was honest, his price was fair and reasonable, he was a professional in all our contacts with him, and the work performed was top notch job. We would use him again and recommend him to others.

Lomar obviously rates the quality of his service very highly. I can't judge, as I did not select Lomar to do my job. I gave Lomar a "C" on responsiveness because there was never a reply to my last question I sent via email.

Excellent service throughout the process. Bismarck was prompt, returned calls quickly and responded to questions/concerns. He was flexible when I had to reschedule and even let me use his contractor discount to buy paint (I was doing the painting myself--his crew gave me suggestions for that). Caulking wasn't part of the estimate, but his crew did that also. Bismarck and his crew are friendly, helpful and did a great job. I will recommend Lomar Painting to friends and family.

The night before we were scheduled to list our house on the market, the originally scheduled painter called to postpone a paint job that we had scheduled at least 3 weeks before because he was running behind on another job. The next morning, I signed into Angie's List and found 3 prospective painters who were located in our neighborhood. I sent out a S.O.S call to the 3, and Lomar Painting was the first to me back. Bismarck Lomar and his team removed and replaced drywall tape in master bedroom with fiberglass tape and repainted. Plus they painted the master bedroom entryway. Not only was their work done to perfection, but they cleaned up as if they had never been in the house, were very polite, and arrived at the time they said they would. Later, Bismarck called to follow up to ensure our satisfaction with their work. Overall, this company is first rate. And Bismarck saved the day for me. We couldn't be more pleased.

Very well. Very good painters, worked well with us and did little extras. If we found mistakes they were immediately corrected and helped make the process go smoothly.

Another great performance from Bismarck Lopez and his folks. Work was done very well by a concientious and personable guy. Estimate was received and work performed in a timely fashion. I'll be lining up my third job from Lomar Painting as soon as I finishh this report.

Best contractor I have ever used. They were competitively priced, did quality work, were on-time, professional and courteous, and cleaned up everything- even hauled away their own trash. Before now, I was tired of waiting for people to show up, never getting a quality, complete job, but this contractor has restored my faith in contractors.

Bismark Lopez is a pleasure to deal with. His employees are professional, attentive, and good workers. My every wish and concern was addressed. The job was not complete until I said it was. I paid at the completion of the job, no deposit was required. The work was finished ahead of schedule.

I called them and told them I was in an awkward situation because I needed someone to paint for me within two days. They came out the next day and they saved me from a very bad experience I had to go through.

They were able to start a week earlier than scheduled, which was great. The house had fallen into disrepair. It was embarrassing to even get an estimate. Bismarck was cheerful and professional and had a "can-do" attitude. I actually started to look forward to fixing up my "handyman special". The crew worked long and hard every day and never complained about the heat and humidity while working outside. They came on time each day, let me know when they were breaking for lunch and cleaned up before leaving. It was a pleasure to have them around. They pay attention to detail, much more so than I require. They do beautiful work and have all the proper supplies. They moved the furniture, covered everything including door knobs. I've never seen that before. They used "tons" of caulk. I had never heard of Kilz so my painting over the water stains just didn't work. They used "tons" of Kilz. The carpenter is excellent. He cut boards to the exact fit in many places where I had wood rot. I've had a leak in my foyer for years. I'd have painters come and caulk and paint the portico where I thought the leak originated, but it just kept leaking. Bruno showed me where there was a hole in the "roof" of the portico from a board that had almost completely rotted away. He replaced it. I'm sure previous painters just painted over it. The portico is the one thing I have had painted every two years. Other places could wait. It took five days to finish everything I asked for this round. I'm delighted with the results.

Bismarck came to my house (he was even a little early, but called to see if that was OK before he knocked on the door). He gave me an estimate to paint all the walls of the house (most of the furniture had been moved out). Based on the estimate I decided to go with Lomar. I e-mailed the paint colors and Bismarck took care of everything else. The crew and Bismark arrived right on time the morning that the painting was scheduled to begin. They got to work immediately. The job was finished on time. Bismarck gave me a chance to inspect for any touch ups. When I realized that the paint color I had picked out for the kitchen was AWFUL, Bismarck was nice enough to have someone come back the very next day to re-paint the kitchen with a new color (that I picked out - and luckily my 2nd pick was much better). So the whole job, even with the re-paint that was my fault, was still done within the time frame that Bismarck said it would be done. I'm not an expert on paint (obviously) but it all looks great to me and Bismarck really did take care of everything.

I had a very short time frame to gather estimates for this job and Mr. Lopez responded quickly to my request for a quote and came on-site within 24 hours of my first contact. He performed a thorough review of my requirements and provided a comprehensive proposal the same night. His price was reasonable and he committed to meet a very short time table in order for us to have our first open house on schedule. Their work was completed on schedule at the price quoted. Each member of the Lomar team was cordial and professional. Mr. Lopez arrived promptly for every scheduled meeting and his team was on time every day. Their work was neat and thorough and it all looks great. There were several areas that required significant preparation and they dealt with them very effectively and quickly. I would not hesitate to select Lomar for any painting job I may have in the future and I would recommend them to anyone.

They are very courteous. they are responsive. They just need a little bit better quality control. They were average. I would recommend them and use them again.

The first thing that impressed me was during the estimate. The price quoted was well below what I expected and asked for no money up front. He said not to pay until the project is complete and I am satisfied. He brought plenty of help to make sure everything was done to plan and they were able to finish on schedule. They quoted me 5 days to complete and did it in 3 1/2 days. The attitude was great, they respected my home and property and did not smoke while they were working. They showed up 10 minutes early everyday and paid attention to what was going on. Very diligent crew and I recommend them to anyone. I was more than impressed with this company. I rarely find a company I would truly give all 'A's" to and this company went above and beyond to earn it. EXCELLENT!!!

They did a good job, overall. They brought about 8 guys to the job the first day. They installed about 10 sheets of drywall and had the first coat of mud on the joints by the end of the day. On the second day 2 guys came back and did another coat of mud. The last coat of mud wasn't perfect, there were a few rough spots, but with some sanding it was okay. They left a little mess with the mud in the two rooms where they were working, but nothing we couldn't scrape up afterwards.
