Bismarck and Lomar Painting exceeded my every expectation for this job. I was especially surprised by the thoroughness of the wall prep work. The final product of their efforts was an excellent value for my money. The crew were efficient, professional, and neat. Bismarck (owner) was easy to reach and great to work with. I will be using Lomar again and recommend them highly.

I've used Lomar Painting before, so I knew what to expect - a friendly voice on the phone (Bismarck), a good price, and a quality job done right! I emailed Bismarck to let him know what I needed - he came out and we met to go over what it was I wanted done. I had concerns over the heat and direct sunlight , but with the paint Bismarck uses the heat isn't an issue. They came early in the morning to get samples to color match for the shutters and the interior Trim. Bismarck even went out of his way to get caulk from a siding company to make sure it matched my siding's caulk - this made me so pleased! Also, the color I had orginally given them for the trim was a little off and his staff realized this - so they went and got a color match for the exact trim color. i was estatic when I heard this because I actually wanted the same color, not the color the builder tried to tell me I had when they first painted. So, I appreciated this so much. The guys worked from 9-4pm and they did a fantastic job inside and out! I looked it all over to make sure that I was pleased with the job. Two small areas of caulk I had re-done, but otherwise everything looked great. I did get another estimate and though it was slightly lower, I always know Bismarck will make sure job is done well and right! In addition, he doesn't make you pay anything until the job is completed and you're satisfied with the job.

Bismarck came to give me an estimate. He was very professional and on time and very responsive on emailing the quote. The day of the job, his crew arrived around 8:30. The crew worked from 8:30 -7pm. The living room was done first and the clean up was excellent. As day got longer, I think they were a bit tired. The second half cleanup was not a thorough. I didn't expect to find paint splatters on my pillowcase or on the sink, but overall the job was good. I would use them again. There was a discrepancy on about the bedroom ceiling on them just touch up painting the area or painting the entire ceiling. Bismarck went ahead and painted the whole room for the estimated cost, even though his original estimate was for touching up the area. Bismark does not require any money up front, and I ended up paying a week later after the job. He wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the work.

Although we didn't use Lomar Painting, we would consider him for the future, given his prompt, professional and courteous emails in response to our very small paint job.

Excellent Company!! From the estimate to the finished product I can not recommend this company highly enough!! I called the company to schedule an estimate and received a phone call the same day to schedule an appointment. When Bismarck, the owner, showed up to do the estimate I was impressed. He showed up on time, was very courteous, and got the job estimate to me within 24 hours. We were under a bit of a time constraint and he worked his schedule to fit us in!! His guys worked on a Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to finish the job. The painters showed up on time, were very professional, and did a fantastic job. My husband and I had two colors painted in our living room and two colors painted in the bedroom and the painters did a phenomenal job. Our house has a lot of architectural lines, two story ceilings, sky lights, etc. and the painters knew exactly what they needed to do. I was especially impressed with how hard they worked and how thorough they are. They started by going around and patching holes, etc. in the walls. When they painted on the first coat of paint they then went back again and patched other holes that they found - holes that both my husband and I would not have noticed (and I consider myself a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things like this). The painters also offered me advice on a room I was painting myself, making them, in my eyes, painters that go above and beyond. They were extremely thorough and did an excellent job!! We are thinking of having more work done in the future and will definitely call this company!! I also have to add that the price was right!! He was one of the lowest bids out there and did more work than the other companies were going to do for more money. If you're looking for professional, outstanding painters - look no further!! These are the guys for the job!!

Excellent experience, I would recommended Lomar to anyone. Bismarck answered the phone the first time I called him and came to my house a few days later as we had arranged to do the estimate. He provided me a written estimate two days after the visit. I got a total of 4 estimates, and Bismarck?s was the lowest of the four (which ranged from about $5,000 to about $13,000!!!). We set a date for the work to begin, and it began as scheduled. His crew worked two and a half days to complete everything (plus a couple hours the day before work began to do the power washing). The work crew was excellent as well, a wonderful group of people from Honduras where I had spent several years in my younger days. The results are top notch and I love the way my house looks.

Bismarck arrived on time for the scheduled estimate and he emailed within 1 business day with the results of the estimate, as promised. He worked with me on price, but I did find another company with a lower estimate. The price listed on my review is for labor only and does not include cost of paint. I chose Lomar because of the numerous excellent reviews on Angie's List. Bismarck was able to squeeze me in a very busy schedule in order to accommodate me. The workers arrived on time and worked very hard. They finished most of the job on the first day, and one worker arrived on time the next day to finish up -- it took him about 3 additional hours on the second day. Overall, the work was excellent. I gave a B for professionalism because when all was said and done, there were some drips of paint on the floor that I was able to clean up easily, and the place was left very dusty. To be fair, the place was a wreck (my fault). I had just moved and boxes were everywhere. It would have been very difficult for anyone to do a perfect clean up job. I couldn't find my checks because of the recent move. Bismarck allowed me to pay via my bank's online bill pay. This caused a delay in his receiving the payment, and I thought it was very kind of Bismarck to not give me a hard time about that. I definitely recommend using this service.

Communications with Bizmark were via email and phone - quick, prompt, clear, friendly. Appts were kept, on time, with courteous, helpful advice. At review, I found everything to be perfect! No mess, no carpet stains, no drips or dings on white ceiling or floorboard. All detailing around bathroom fixtures was clean, no missing spots. Accent walls were done well, and demarcation lines were clean and crisp. Just perfect! Could not be happier - I hope they provide other handyman services (LOL!)

They came on the promised day early & waited until 8am to ring the bell. They went over all the work to be done, behave like professionals, we will use them again. This is what contractors should be, responsible, experienced, and fair.

Bismarck was very responsive and courteous, and they fit the project into their busy schedule the following week. Their price was very fair for the work being preformed. My client was very happy with their work and professionalism, and after inspecting the work myself, I was pleased as well, and I will certainly keep them in mind for future projects.

Lomar was great! I purchased the "big deal" - painting one room for $199. The painter showed up on time and got to work right away. I'm sure it helped that the rooms were empty because I'd just moved out, but still, he was quick to tape the baseboards, patch the walls (great job!), and get started. One wall was a very dark blue and I was changing the color to off-white, but he had no trouble with that- he applied two coats of paint and you can't tell there was even a hint of blue from before. He did such a good job, I asked Bismarck if he could help me with a second room. The painter not only sped through the second room, he helped me paint the closets, window sills and baseboards! Above and beyond and very professional work. GREAT JOB!

Bismarck and his crew were always punctual. He arrived on time for the original estimate and quoted an amount that was similar to other estimates that I received. The crew did solid work. They arrived on time each of the 3 mornings and put in full days. They did all of the work detailed in the estimate and a few additional things that came up along the way. They left the house neat with all furniture returned to its original place.

I emailed 3 vendors to bid on this project using AL forms. They replied to our request within 24 hours and scheduled an estimate for that weekend. He called the day of to let us know he would be an hour late, then showed up on time at the rescheduled time. He was professional and polite and returned an estimate within a week. The estimate was more vague than the other vendors and was significantly higher than the next closest bid, and referenced a longer completion time that the other vendors. I was concerned that the recommended solution for a large crack in the wall was to simply redo the drywall and see if it happens again instead of getting to what may be causing it. It seemed like a band-aid solution to what may be a structual issue, and one that creates more work for a drywall vendor. My only watchout was we have a very small project, and ultimately felt we were a small client, especially when we were told he had rescheduled our appointment because a $10K project had been greenlit and that homeowner wanted to see him immediately. I would absolutely consider them for another project where attention to detail is needed but for drywalling our garage, we'd rather get it done quickly for less money.

Before they painted they wanted me to make sure there was no lead. They had me test everything before they painted. They were very thorough and professional. They did the work for about half of what the other bids were. I think he is very good at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone who needs painting done, whether it be inside or outside of the home.

Working with Lomar Painting and Bismarck Lopez was an incredible experience. I had met with several other painters who were recommended by friends and Bismarck was the first person who was not only professional but had an eye for detail. I had water damage done to my basement ceiling and every other painter wanted to just patch it up and take my money. Bismarck was the only person to point out that the dry wall had to be replaced because the ceiling bowed which I had known but I wanted to see if anyone would say anything. Lomar Painting knew about my time limit and was very efficient on having the inside and the outside of my house painted. His painters did a wonderful job and there were throughly professional. My house looks great, thanks to their efforts. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. The standout had to be Bismarck Lopez. He met each and everyone of of my painting and repair requirements with a drive for customer satisfaction. It is hard to find enough superlatives for the professionalism of this former Marine. This man cares about his customers. As I was about to pay for the work he and his crew did, we found a possible plumbing problem in a ceiling area that had just been painted and repaired. Without being asked, he stayed with me for 3 hours while we waited for a friend of his who had general construction experience to determine if I had a real plumbing problem. We all breathed a sigh of relief when it turned out to be a one-time, easily repairable event. You can?t buy this type of professionalism and honest caring about the quality of his work or for his customers at any price. I recommend this team in the strongest possible terms, they are outstanding!!!!

I use these guys exclusively for all my investment properties, as well as for my primary residence, and I can honestly say that they are the best contractor that I have worked with. Bismarck is a fair and honest businessman and truly recognizes the importance of customer satisfaction. He has never ended a job until I was 100% satisfied. Bismarck's team is exceptional at what they do. They do a top quality job and are quick, efficient, detail oriented and incredibly polite. I have always felt that Bismarck and his team treat my properties with the level of attention and care that they would if it was their own home. They have never once cut corners and continue to go above and beyond to ensure that I am pleased with the work. They show up on time, they work incredibly hard, they are very clean and they leave the job site looking better than when they arrived. I have always found Bismarck's pricing to be very reasonable regardless of the specific work being performed. I have worked with Bismarck and his team on just shy of 10 properties in the last 10 months and I plan on using them for all my projects moving forward.

Bismarck and crew did an excellent job overall. He was very responsive in scheduling and providing an estimate. Due to his professional demeanor and competitive price, I decided to go with Lomar. He scheduled quickly and his crew showed up promptly. They worked quickly and professionally, doing an excellent job and cleaning up completely afterwards. Unexpectedly there was a problem matching the existing rotten railing post and that caused a slight delay. However, he provided a superior post as a replacement and it worked out great. I think dealing with problems is a true indicator of a quality contractor and Bismarck definitely passed. He even touched up some trim I hadn't paid for once I realized how bad it looked with the other trim painted. Overall excellent work and I would heartily endorse this company.

Bismarck and his crew did a great job of painting select area of our house. He was able to schedule us in on very short notice and his guys finished the job in one day. I will definitely use them again the next time I need paint work performed!

Bismark and his team are responsive, easy to work with, and arrived promptly for all estimates and for the actual work. The work was estimated to be 3-4 days, but was finished in 1.5 days. They were happy to address any touch-up issues (all of which were minor and normal for this type of job). The team worked quickly and cleaned up well. The rooms look very nice and overall, I am very satisfied with the quality, speed, and price. I would recommend Lomar painting to others. Thank you!

Lomar Painting painted my house 5 years ago and did such a great job that I called again for an estimate when I was opening my own business. Bizmark Lopez came out within 24 hours of our call for an estimate and scheduled an appointment. He was on time and professional. His estimate was competitive and I hired him again. Within a week, my office was painted and looks beautiful. They came out on a Saturday and completed the job in one day. After the work was completed, I had changed my mind about a color and they came and changed it for me within a day. Everything was done beautifully and to my specifications. I am not easy to please but am wonderfully satisfied with the services of Lomar Painting.

We unexpectedly found & closed on a new house which caused us to have to put our current house on the market immediately (8 days before leaving the country for 3 weeks). Bismarck and his crew showed up the day after we contacted him to preform a "to do" list to get the house ready for sale. We listed the house before we left and it sold within the month. Bismarck then came back to address the buyers "to do" list. We were extremely impressed not only with the quality of work but also their professionalism, delivery on the commitment and getting the job done within the limited time frame we imposed on him.
