The team did an amazing job in my basement. They were on-time, on-buget, fast (did it all in one day) and I completely trusted them in my home. I have used them twice in the last 3 months (on an outside project and the one for my basement). They are so responsive and so easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Bismarck kept the appointment promptly and I showed him what we wanted done-16 rooms including the ceilings and all the trim on openings, the baseboard, crown moldings, chair rail and doors. He had a competitive estimate to me by the next day. It allowed for a 10% discount for Angie's members. I had him install a chair rail in the dining room and another piece of trim molding. His brother, Gerado, showed up the next day with about 6 workers and began. They taped off all the trim, covered all the furniture with plastic and all the floors and stairways with drop cloths. They prepared the walls with drywall filler where many screw and nail holes were left by the previous owner. This work was rather extensive and I was surprised to see such attention to detail. (Previous painters I had used only covered most of the holes with featherlite wall putty or spackling.) Then after it dried, they sanded it smooth and only then did they begin to paint the first of two coats. Two coats of paint on walls, ceiling and trim were part of the estimate. They did not try to get by with only one thick coat like other painters have done. The second day, 15 employees were here in an effort to get finished, but due to their fastidiousness, it could not be done. A smaller crew returned another day and finished the job and cleaned up the entire house. Receipts were provided for all the paint purchased and he passed on his 20% discount on the price. The painting and carpentry work was excellent and I recommend highly. I have been completely satisfied.

Lomar Painting did a fantastic job repainting nearly the entire interior of our house! They removed wallpaper in three rooms, painted 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, living room, family room, office, kitchen and all hallways and stairs (including ceilings and trim throughout). I selected a palette of colors, and they were applied correctly. I had some concerns initially as the crew left dust and a mess each night, but they cleaned up well once the job was finished. Only minor touch-ups were needed which I took care of myself. Bismarck was always responsive (most of our communication was via email), and the crew arrived each day on time and always with smiles! My only complaint is that Bismarck didn't perform a final walk-through with me because I wasn't home when he wanted to stop by. I probably could have asked him to reschedule, although he didn't offer this as an option. Overall, we're very pleased and will use Lomar Painting again should we have additional painting needs.

Lomar Painting was recommended by our realtor & we are SO, SO happy that we chose them. We had a very limited time frame to get work done in our house before we moved in & Bismarck & his crew did a fantastic job. We were also having some flooring done & the crew was able to accommodate the flooring schedule & were very flexible when the schedule changed . . . which was a huge relief during the stress of moving. Gerardo, Bismarck's brother, was the manager on site & he did a great job - accessible, answered any questions, & overall great communication. The crew showed up on time & got right to work each day. They had an excellent work ethic - polite, courteous, great attention to detail, respectful of our home & cleaning up at the end of the day. We were amazed by how much was accomplished each day! We can be quite picky & they were quick to fix any touch ups we requested . . . although their work was so great these were generally just minor things. They did put multiple coats of paint on our family room ceiling, which is sloped. What looked great from the first floor looked streaked from the second floor but they worked at it until it looked perfect. We especially appreciated that if we asked for anything to be touched up they were more than happy to accommodate with smiles on their faces. We had them paint a stripe in our children's bedrooms & also a bathroom & they turned out great - very clean lines. One of our favorite parts of the project is the painted kitchen cabinets. Many hours were spent on the sanding, priming, & painting of them & they turned out top notch. We got two other estimates and Lomar Painting was slightly higher but we went with them because we felt they could handle such a big job in a limited time frame & they went above & beyond our expectations. Thank you Bismarck & Lomar Painting for giving us what feels like a brand new home!

Bismarck's guys arrived promptly on Friday, set-up and began painting immediately. They were very careful to cover all walkways with tarp so that dirt or mud was not tracked through the house. I left for several hours and when I returned, much to my surprise, I found that several rooms had already been painted. Upon leaving for the day, they were very careful to clean up every item and they left no visual signs that they had even been outside of the painted rooms. Saturday was very similar, they arrived promptly and immediately got to work. It was so impressive to watch these guys work, it seemed like they never really took a break! Again, upon completion of the work on Friday, they were very careful to make sure that the cleaned up after themselves. They came back on Monday morning to do their final touch-ups and do a final quality control check. The entire process was smooth as silk! They arrived when they said they would, they completed when they said they would and the work was top-notch. You can really tell that Bismarck and his crew take great pride in their craft. The precision with which they paint and the attention to detail is truly an art. I had a townhouse painted several years ago and it took them twice the time, charged me the same price (for much less sq ft) and I had to call them several times to come back to correct paint runs and spattering. It was a hassle and a disappointment. Basically, if you want the job done on time and right, call Lomar Painting.

Due to a prior cancellation, Bismarck was able to fit us in within a week (YAY!!). This is the second time we've used Lomar Painting, and we knew that all work would be completed in a timely fashion. We never imagined it would be done in 2 days! We gave the guys a key to the condo, so they could come and go as needed. We would NEVER do that with most contractors. This group is totally trustworthy, efficient, and very very skilled in their craft. Plus, they are the nicest guys you'd want to have in your place! We have complete confidence in Bismarck and his employees. Everything looks spectacular, and we couldn't be happier with the results. You will not find a finer, more skilled and responsive company than Lomar Painting!

We have used this company for the past 15 years. The head of the company comes to give us an estimate and the staff comes on time and ready to work. They perform all the necessary functions; and when done they clean up and leave. They stay until the work is finished. We would not use any other painting company.

We must have lost our minds to have hardwood floors installed and then have most of our house painted immediately following the install but thanks to the professionalism and kindness of Lomar painting we made it through the madness! Orlando and the rest of the crew that came to the house were fantastic to work with. They showed up promptly at 8:00 am each morning and got right to work. They took great care with my new floors. Each painter was kind and respectful and I felt good having them in my home and around my children. I picked a couple of bold colors in a some rooms and the paint lines at the ceilings are fantastic! What a steady hand! The bathroom that previously had wallpaper in it (and we had been told by another contractor before we put up the paper that the walls were too damaged for paint) came out beautifully! They are artisans with drywall repair! I really appreciated that Lomar Painting accepts American Express unlike some other companies! :)

I found this provider on Angies List and found Bismarck and his crew to be very responsive, prompt and professional. He offered to give me a quote via email with photos or to come by the house. I sent him photos of the rooms needing work, and he quoted me a competitive price. He was very prompt in his response and answered all of my questions regarding trying to match paint, type of paint to buy etc. He scheduled the work within days of my contacting him. His crew arrived on time, introduced themselves and looked over the areas needing work with me. Throughout the day, they asked me to view the work and make sure everything was satisfactory. All the work was done to a high level and everything went well. They took care to cover the work areas carefully to protect floors and furniture. The cleanup was thorough. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The staff was punctual and professional. They worked very efficiently and responded well to our requests and questions. When we requested some routine touch ups to several areas, the owner had one of his staff out the next day and all of the items were completed to our satisfaction.

I first got the quote for the exterior and they were the lowest quote and he didn’t require a down payment. They sent 5 people and got it done in one day. They came back out to do the shutters. They did a very thorough and professional job so I hired them for more jobs. We got a quote for the interior and we were satisfied with the quote. They did most of the walls, ceilings, and woodwork. They did a good job on that. The said it would be a 3-5 day job and they finished the interior in just 3 days. They came back to touch things that we wanted touched up. They did the garage after that and they did a super job with that too. I was very impressed. The owner, Bixmark Lopez, was easy to communicate with and very on top of things. The total cost of the exterior painting was $3,100. The interior was $5,800 plus the cost of the paint and the garage was $900.

We don't know the exact amount because we added some things at the end. Our experience was great, they did a great job. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and they stayed late to get the work done. Everything looks great. At the end, we wanted a little touch up here and a little touch up there and they were very understanding and would hop to it and even fixed a couple of things. The people were great and seemed very trustworthy. I gave them a key to my house so that I didn't have to be there. They are hard workers and they did a great job.

It is doubtful that I will use this company.

PAINLESS! This is my first experience getting work done in the house that was absolutely painless! From the beginning, Bismark was extremely responsive, consistent and professional. He responded to all of my emails almost immediately. He gave me an estimate and not even a week later, the work was completed. The gentlemen working on the job were polite and professional. They made good use of time and produced a good product. The exterior of my house looks great. I was charged for the exact amount of hours worked and materials bought. No gimmicks, no extra random materials on my bill, and no time wasted. I would gladly use Lomar Painting again.

Bismarck stopped by to see what we wanted done, recommended the type of paint to use, and followed up with a written estimate. We scheduled the work. His crew showed up on time and did a thorough job prepping. They worked quickly but carefully. They did an excellent job and cleaned up behind them when they were done. After they'd left, we noticed one spot that needed touching up in the entry way. I called and left a message, and then got a call back that "they were on their way," and they were. Within an hour, someone from Bismark's team was back and fixing the spot; again, they did an excellent job.

Once more, we had the excellent experience and outcomes expected from Bismarck and his team. We had some water damage and other issues on three large ceiling areas--in our bedroom, upstairs hallway, and downstairs family room. We also had a wooden surround at our front door that needed work. Finally, we asked the carpenter to build a platform in the attic so that it is safer for my husband to do work up there. The attic is unfinished. Bismarck's team took care of all of these matters, and as usual--the service and delivery and results were fabulous. The team is efficient, well-trained, takes great care to contain the construction debris (sanding drywall is messy). They hung plastic everywhere and did their best to keep all of the dust at a minimum. They know exactly what they are doing--this team is well trained and polite and respectful in every way. Before we contracted the joy, Bismarck came out to the house to see the job, talk through options, and give us an estimate. He is a consummate professional. The lead time was minimal, and we were able to start work according to our schedule--and on a weekend. Lomar Painting is the best contractor of any kind we have ever worked with. This is our 3rd or 4th work with them, and they will remain our go-to contractor for painting, carpentry, and inside jobs. Thank you, Bismarck and team!

Bismarck's team is amazing. They showed up at 8 am and had taped up the walls , laid out the drop cloth and had a brush in hand by 8:20. They were polite and energetic the entire time. They painted what we had requested and then helped touch up what the damage from the previous owners. Additionally, the team helped another contractor working in the bathroom without even being asked. They were meticulous and overall just wonderful. My house looks incredible! Bismarck has been a pleasure dealing with and I highly recommend him and his crew. I've already booked him for a few more items around the house!

I am a repeat customer! I back because Bismarck and his crew did such a good job at a previous house. His prices are reasonable, the painters are polite and professional and the paint job is quality. One last point I should mention, Home Depot made an error in the paint color (Home Depot's error). I only saw this after coming home at the end of the day to see how that day's work went...he had a large crew working that day and everything had to be repainted the following day using the correct colors. Unfortunately, Home Depot's policy is to replace the paint only and do not compensate for other costs. He took a big hit financially, I felt really bad for him, but he remained extremely positive through the entire job and stayed true to his proposal price. Thank you Bismarck, I will use you again!

I don't know how they do it. I paint and it takes me weeks to do a room. These guys completed several rooms, including the ceiling with the paint that I provided. I would certainly use them again and wish they came to the King George area as I have a whole house to paint there.

Bismarck and his employees were totally professional and did a great job. Timely, thorough, and flexible. Their price was significantly below other Angie's List A-rated firms. From coming to make an estimate through making final touch ups, Lomar Painting was a class act. Tim, the site supervisor, constantly checked the work and made sure we were happy with the results. He went out of his way to work with Home Depot to get have a custom color change matched and mixed and he came back after job completion to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

Bismark and the crew were very good to deal with. They were puncutal and did a nice job cleaning up. Of course, most importantly, the paint looks excellent. Nice, crisp lines and no drip marks. I will have Lomer Painting do more work for us in the furutre.

I was very pleased with the quick response to my request for a quote, as well as the prompt scheduling for the job. From first contact to job completion, the entire experience was less than a week. I found the price to be reasonable for the amount of coverage needed; the price also included cost of paint/materials. Due to a medical condition, I was unable to physically acquire the paint myself. Bismarck's crew made it easy to provide my selections and they picked up what was needed from the store. The workers were conscientious and polite. Most of all, I was thrilled that the original homeowner's brick red was completely gone from my walls and replaced by a lovely spring green. The entire process was so easy for me, I would certainly use this company again.

I met with Bismark, the owner of the company for a quote and walk through on Tuesday afternoon. I got his pricing by Wednesday and due to some luck with his schedule was able to accept the offer and start painting on Friday. His crew came and absoultely blitzed the house--got all of the walls painted and two of the ceilings painted in those two days. My house is probably around 1,250 square feet and the fact they were able to do the whole job in two days is astonishing to me. The crew patched all of the holes, did a terrific job with the paint, and cleaned up beautifully. I don't think I could have been more pleased with the job they did.

I am already looking at paint colors for them to return and do more painting for us. I was nervous about using Lomar because we have plaster walls and many painters do not know how to repair them. Bismarck assured me that I would be pleased and I am. He estimated 4 days and heading into a holiday weekend, I was worried they would not be finished in time. We had a snow day where they could not come. They completed the work with ease in 3 days. I loved that they put up floor to ceiling plastic to protect the other parts of the room and house that were not being painted. Considering that they were repairing plaster, there was not much dust. They were very clean and took great care protecting floors, closets and other areas. Their work is beautiful and well done.

I was very pleased with the work done in my home. I will be having Lomar Painting back in September to do my second floor. I recommended this company to my son and Lormar will be paining his whole house within the next few weeks. I strongly recommend this company.
