Description of Work: Painted 3 rooms

Description of Work: They told me the date for starting was April 15th. I may this big deal in late march 2015. When I called to check, they had bounced me back to May 15th. My house will be on the market by then. I told them I could use them. I independently selected another firm which has nothing to do with Angie's List.

Description of Work: Painted two story family room, trim and ceiling. Cost was for services only; I provided the paint. Did a nice job at a much lower price than others quoted.

Description of Work: Painted entire living room & hallway. The finished so quickly we werent sure if they would finish as it was a large room so we had other things for them to do just in case

Description of Work: We used Herndon Service for flooring and painting for the main floor and first floor. It included the main floor ceilings and wooden floors all throughout the main floor, stairs and up to a loft. They sanded and refinished some areas and put new wood in other areas.

Description of Work: I bought this as one of the specials. They were great to work with since I delayed having them paint the two rooms. Everything was left neat and clean. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: I highly recommend Herndon Services - they were prompt in their call back and all communication, they arrived at my home on time, they demonstrated an excellent work ethic and detailed care and attention in their work. They cleaned up after themselves and I will certainly use them again for any future work. I am completely happy and think I received service equal to the price.

Description of Work: They painted for one day, and they covered so much space! I had put up blue tape everywhere, tried to patch a whole, and the walls, and when they came, they could have taken care of the wall dings, and they did take care of the hole in a about a second flat! They didn't the blue tape, as they explained, they are they just that precise and experienced! They asked about a second coat, and I was sure I wouldn't need it, but if they ever have a add on here again, I will hire them in a heart beat.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal (the first one i ever bought) for 2 hours of service for painting either interior or exterior. I called the company to schedule the job and give them the coupon code of what i bought. I also discussed the work i wanted accomplish, and asked if that could be done in the timeframe. I was told yes, so the work was scheduled. They arrived on time with 2 works to prime and paint two standard bedrooms in a townhouse. They worked hard and clean the entire job. Half way through the job one of the works advised his boss wanted to speak with us. We were then told that if we wanted the job finished we would have to purchase 2 additional hours at their standard rate. After a short discussion we agreed on 1 additional hour purchased. I was not happy with how it played out and felt like i would never purchased a big deal for time of service ever again.....but i was HAPPY with the work that was performed in my home and i would hire the company again just never buy hours.

Description of Work: When I called to make an appointment for an estimate for the work I wanted done at my second home in Woodbridge, VA, I was informed that this contractor did not work in Woodbridge, although this was not mentioned on the website. There was a space for it, but it had not been filled in. I notified Angie's List and received a very since apology and a speedy refund. Had it been stated that this contractor did not work in Woodbridge, I would not have bothered him.

Description of Work: There wasn't anything I could say bad about the individual who painted our basement in one day. He was courteous, cleaned up afterwards and did a beautiful job. There was a little misunderstanding in setting up the appointment (i.e. initially we didn't get a call back and we needed to follow up more than once) but I'm sure it was because he was inundated with calls. I would most definately have Herndon Service back again.
