It went well. Herndon Service was punctual and efficient. The results were very professional.

It went pretty well. The actual work was good. They painted the railing on the front porch. They also painted the front door, and got done early. They did a nice job on both projects. I was a little disappointed that the owner didn't estimate the time more accurately for the projects that I had emailed him about having done that day. It took less time than I was allotted, and I could have had more work ready if I had known.

They sent two people who were not from that company and they did not do a good job.

Crew was more affluent in Spanish thanenglish, so we had some difficulty is getting a work order that reflected what we were asking for. Once we passed that obstacle, the crew performed the work to our satisfaction.

What can I say about Ivan and his team that hasn't already been said by previous clients? I have to admit that I read a lot of his reviews and had a hard time believing them, but when his price came in very reasonable and they could meet my timeline I decided to give them a try because of those reviews. I will be recommending them to EVERYONE. His team was meticulous and delivered on everything that had been promised. They spent a tremendous amount of time at the end of the job cleaning every baseboard and looking over every bit of the work. Then Ivan came and reviewed everything AGAIN and had a few things he wanted corrected - things we couldn't even see. I just can't imagine anyone being disappointed with their work. Exellent from initial contact via email with a response from Ivan in less than 10 hours. These men are prompt and good to have at the house.

Painters arrived on time and provided services expected within timeframe allotted.

A quality painting company. Instead of 1 painter for 8 hours as the coupon/offer stated, they asked if they could send 2 painters for 4 hours. One did the trip work, while the other used a roller. They brought their own brushes, ladders, tape, and drop clothes. I was allowed to help and had the rooms prep'ed for painting, so they/we were able to paint a 1 BR 1 BA condo in the 4 hours.

Painters did a generally satisfactory job. They were over an hour late. They did exterior painting of carport ceiling; While they did cover the carport floor; they did not cover driveway or decorative garden & rock area under a fence that was painted - result: paint on driveway and garden greens and decorative rocks.

i purchased a painter for 8 hours. They sent two painters for 4 hours. I purchased the paint using their discount and got my entire living room, dining room, hallway, connecting wall, foyer and bathroom thru way painted in 4 1/2 hours. They painted a beautiful accent wall and thruway. Each extra hour was $40 each. We needed only an extra 1/2hour so it cost me only $40 more than the coupon of $249. They were very neat and fast. Taking all of the steps of applying tape etc. but no dawdling by these guys. After they finished I couldn't believe how neat and clean everything was. They put everything back and boy was that a job since I had just moved into the condo and boxes and furniture were everywhere. They did all of the furniture moving and replacement without any worries. They did such a good job that I contacted the company directly to get a quote to paint the basement family room on the town house that I was selling. Of course, i mentioned that I was from Angie's List. I am almost afraid to tell you the quote I got. It was so low that I had no choice at all but to go with them. Again, I bought the paint using their discount and was out less than $500. Having had other painting done in the townhouse before deciding to paint the family room I know a good deal when I see one. I won't tell you how much I paid for the bedrooms, hallways and living and dining room. Too bad I didn't know about Herndon Service first. I recommend them highly.

Two painters arrived on time in the morning, and spent 8 hrs painting projects we assigned. They painted a master bedroom (including the bathroom), ceiling, walls and trim. They cleaned up the bedroom project, then with the remaining hour, touched up the trim on the stairs and doorway entrance. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work, and the price.

I had a problem with sewage pipe leaking at basement. I called waterproofing companies who did not care to find the root-cause, but are interested in my wallet and gave me the quotes for $3000 to $8,000. I found Herndon Servvice throuh Angies List and called Ivan. He responded good. He sent his associate Luis and arrived prompt even it was Sunday. Work done was 100% to my satisfaction and I want to consider them for my unfinished bathroom and patio next year.. ASK FOR LUIS,,he is the real deal guy.

I was very pleased. They did a nice job painting. They were very neat and they completed more than I thought they would in the time available.

Arrived before the time, brought all materials to be supplied by them, protected carpets, floors. Worked for the whole 8 hours they were hired for. Will call them again for sure!

I showed them the area I wanted to paint and they were able to apply two coats of paint in the allotted time. They worked fast and did an excellent job at a great price.

Excellent service. It was quick and easy to schedule the appointment. I e-mailed photos of the areas I needed painted to the contractor so they had an idea of what to expect when they showed up (and so they could tell me approximately what I could expect to have painted within the 8 hours). On the appointed day, two painters showed up precisely on time. I showed them the areas to paint and they quickly got to work. They spread the drop cloth with an attention to detail such that no paint drops landed on my new floor. The men were fast and efficient, taking only a few short breaks. They painted essentially non-stop from 0800 until noon, completing almost all of the areas I needed painted. Great job and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

I needed my front hall painted and thought it would be a good test case for the company. The one item of concern was that there was a small area on one wall that showed water damage. The walls are plaster and we specifically asked if that could be repaired and we were willing to pay above the special offer prices since it went beyond the parameters of the special offer. We were told the repair would be included and taken care of. It was repaired, but the repair was hasty and not well done. In the end, my husband did it over and repainted that section of the wall.The scheduling was a bit difficult but the men turned up on the appointed day although a couple of hours later than planned. They finished in one day and did a good job cleaning up.

They did a good job of painting what we requested and their quality was good as well. They arrived promplty and did a good job with cleanup.

It started out good with Ivan being a very nice guy and very responsive. He came to provide an estimate and I in fairness I was requesting quite a bit of work to be performed from painting, bathroom floor tile installation, faucet replacement, caulking... The painting was good and very reasonably priced, however the clean up was not good. I had my front door painted black and I found black paint in my lawn along with other debris. I requested caulking work to be done in all the bathrooms. It was forgotten and Ivan sent the painter back out to do the caulking and it was a horrible job. The following month, I had to have someone redo the caulking the professional way. The ceramic tile flooring guy performed EXCELLENT work!! I would hire him directly if I could. However, his clean up too, could have used some improvement. He had to pull up the wood subfloor and existing ceramic tiling (which was alot of work) and lay cement board. He cut the cement board in my front yard and left cement shavings in the lawn!! The biggest problem was with the plumbing. Ivan's "first" plumber replaced my three bathroom fixtures. He put the fixtures in but did not do the additional work to ensure the stopper worked properly and they DID NOT! Apparently there was additional work that had to be completed and this plumber took severe short cuts!! Ivan explained this guy was someone new he "used". He had to call another plumber to basically redo the fixture work!! The second plumber replaced my shower fixtures and all appeared to go well until a month later my tenants advised that the shower was leaking badly. Another contractor came in and found that the plumbing pipe was cut too short for regulation and therefore was causing the leak! I called Ivan and advised of this and he said he had a 1 year warranty however, I REFUSED to have his team touch any more plumbing in my house because I have no idea where he gets his folks. They don't appear to work directly for the company so this minimized quality control. As stated by others, Ivan did not return for inspect the final job, he did come back during but not upon completion. There was too much delay and too many different crew members in my house for my liking. I prefer a company that employs his own crew. I will never use this company again. If you are going to hire this company, get a deal through groupon, angielist and ONLY use them for painting!!

I was first told that two painters would be there to do the work and the work would take approximately 4 hours; however when the day arrived, only one painter was dropped off (approximately 30 minutes after stated start time) and the work did take him almost the 8 hours total time alloted. I had to unfortunately leave before the job was finished and was not able to review the job before completed. There was one small area that I would have had the painter re-addressed had I been there. The job site was left clean and neat. I expected to have a follow-up with the owner, but have never heard from them.

Very satisfied overall. Good price through Angie's Deals and the work was performed as per expectations.
