Overall the work was good. There were some spots were the paint bled over onto another wall in an adjoining room, but for the most part the work was good. I've used other painters that were more precise in their cutting/painting so I would probably try calling them first before I used this company again. If I couldn't get anyone else, I would definitely call this company again. They weren't great but they were still good.

Everything was done to my liking. Couldn't ask for better service.

The owner came and assessed the job and said it would be able to be done in the time alloted by the deal (8 hours) and by the 2 painters alloted in the deal. The painters arrived on a rainy day under the impression that it was an inside job. After a telephone call to the owner by the painters in our presence, the painting was rescheduled for a sunny day after the area to be painted had dried out -3-4 days later. We did go over the job to be done with the painters, so they were familiar with what was to be done. The painters arrived on time and immediately got to work. We had provided the gloss paint for the porch and the special masonry paint for the foundation. They put down more than adequate dropcloths, protecting the porch floor and plants. They were efficient and fast but very careful. They finished within the time frame and the cleanup was thorough. We were very pleased and would use this firm again and would recommend them to others.

I started with an estimate and then authorized the work. The business manager and I reviewed the work once they had completed and found a small number of corrections that were required. The corrections were donr quickly.

They knew what needed to be done and got it done. Less intervention. On the final payment date, they were more than willing to do any touch ups, as I made suggestions. I am happy with their services.

We were very pleased. They arrived on-time, painted what we requested (even doing a bit more than I originally expected) and cleaned-up. I would highly recommend them.

I purchased a Groupon to Herndon Service to have one small room painted for $75. I called Ivan, the owner, to schedule and he asked if I could instead submit my request online because he was in the car driving. I did so, thinking he probably wouldn't respond, but he called me back very quickly and we agreed on a date. Maybe I should have called to confirm, but the date came and no one showed up. I called Ivan and he said that the job did not make it into his workers' schedules and that he simply could not have anyone paint that day. Of course, this was two days before Thanksgiving when I was having out of town guests coming, and I had already moved all the furniture out of the room, taken paintings off the walls, etc., not to mention taking that day off from work. I was really upset, and he asked what he could do to rectify the situation. We agreed that a painter would come on Saturday at 8:00 a.m., and they don't usually work on Saturday. On Saturday at 8:30, a painter arrived. Unfortunately, he didn't have a drop cloth to cover a built-in bookshelf that I have, so he had to go to Home Depot to buy one and that delayed his start. However, he was finished by noon and did a FANTASTIC job. I really can't say enough about the quality of the work. He removed several large screws in the wall and filled the holes and also used two coats of paint. He didn't leave any mess, didn't have to use painter's tape, etc. He also painted the edges of the ceiling with white paint, and while it doesn't 100% match the rest of the ceiling, it looks fine. Although I was disappointed in the scheduling problems, I think I would try Herndon Service again given the quality of the work. They also gave me a quote for hardwood floor installation that was very reasonable.

The customer service of this company is wonderful and they were incredibly flexible and easy to work with. They were also responsive to email which I really appreciate and is hard to find in this industry. The painters showed up on time the morning that they were scheduled and were friendly and courteous. We walked through the scope of the project and then they got started. There were no issues or incidents and they did a great job. They finished on time, within the estimated budget, and cleaned up perfectly.

Other than being hours late -- I thought Boss could have called to inform me - these men with professional and I am very happy with the results.

I was quite satisfied with the overall experience.

They put two coats on some surfaces and only one coat on others. Trim work was done, but some paint was left as drops on the hardwood floor that I needed to clean up before it completely dried. I was disappointed that they got so little done for two workers,since they didn't have a ceiling to do in the LR; but the room has come out looking good.

These guys made it so easy. My wife and I would have murdered each other if we tried to tackle any of these jobs. We will want to have them back for some other interior painting in our kitchen and breakfast room.

Good work but hard to get estimate and return call

they were very professional and worked the entire time with even a little overtime to finish all of the rooms. We received great quality for the price.

It went well for the most part, they fixed any visible cracks in the walls, but not the drywall nails that had not broken through the drywall yet.

I called Ivan in a panick to get my home painted for the holiday when another company did a poor job. They were able to squeeze me in a few days after my call. The workers arrive on time and started working immediately. Just as before they were professional and assisted with putting back my furniture and outlet covers. In less than 6 hours they did what the other company could not do in 9 hours. I've recommended this company to a few at my office and my neighbors. Thanks again for another winner on Angies List.

We expected one painter for an entire day and when we called in the morning after no one showed up we were told there would be two painters arriving in the afternoon to paint the foyer. Communications could have been better. When the painters arrived they were able to quickly paint the foyer and it looks great.

Painters arrived on time and worked very quickly. Paint job was very professional and both painters were very neat and put down sheeting so there was no paint slopped onto carpets or floors. Overall, I was very happy with the job and painters were very polite and considerate. The only complaint I would have is that the owner under-estimated the amount of work his painters would be able to do. He said they would only be able to do the stairwells, but they finished that job in five and a half hours. If I had bought more paint, I could have gotten a little more work done. Overall though, I was quite happy with all the work. I would much rather have the job underestimated than overestimated.

They did a good job over-all but the prep work and attention to detail were not as good as another company we have used in the past who were admittedly more expensive.

The entire process went well. Communication was good The rooms they painted looked good.

They did a decent job. The workers themselves were okay on the professionalism scale. But frankly I wondered if the performed the work slowly on purpose since the job was an hourly one. On the positive side I thought the company manger that I spoken to was fair and honest. However he never came to the job site and so relied on the report of his workers regarding timing and size of them project. I think I would have had a better experience if the company owner had more actively supervised the project.

Painters arrived on time, went right to work. Didn't take any breaks in the 5+ hours they were here. Very hard workers. No mess, very neat & complete work. Did a great job!.

It took a little while to make arrangements for the painter to come out. Once we connected via phone, we discussed the projects and the type of paint that I should have available for the painter. The painter arrived a bit late but was courteous and called ahead to let me know he would be about 15 minutes late. We walked through the projects to be done and he started working through the 2 projects. He quickly worked through the 2 projects. I had initially asked for just the front door's exterior trim to be done and he looked a bit surprised. After he had re-primed and painted the trim and I looked at the difference (the door/trim had been painted a year before), I asked whether he'd paint the front door panel. He was able to paint it quickly and it looked great with all fresh paint. The foundation area was a challenging strip below siding and above a concrete pad. It all looks great. While he was painting, the owner came by to check on how the project was going. He was professional and courteous.
