Dominion Granite & Marble

We are remodeling our master bathroom, and wanted a nice piece of quartz for the vanity. Dominion granite had a remnant that we loved, and gave us a good price on. We had looked at several granite shops in the area, and they were by far the most reasonably priced and most friendly/professional/knowledgeable we visited. They were very easy to work with, and didn't constantly hand us off to different people every time we had to contact them (many of the other shops we visited always had someone different talk to us, and the new person never seemed to know what pieces we were looking at or where our paperwork was). Keena, Christian and Brian were great to work with, very easygoing with changes we kept making due to delays in the work being done. They measured on a Monday, and installed the following day. Hollis and his crew did the install, and again they were extremely polite and competent; they answered all of our questions and did a professional job. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with and they certainly have won any business from us in the future. We can confidently recommend them to anyone in the area that needs any type of granite/quartz/stone work done.

They did a fabulous job of removing the old countertops without a lot debris or disruption. The installation of the new countertop took about 4 hours, Installation of the backsplash took another 4 hours. The job was complete in less than a month with a lot of communication and follow-up. They are the best around at placement and fabrication, which is why we chose them. They were precise and spent a lot of time working with the stone. The overall finished product is stunning. Overall they were a great value and I highly recommend their work.

Our original installation was done almost 10 years ago. We asked Dominion to repair a seam where caulking had deteriorated - one seam needed a minor repair. They were able to find our original agreement and confirm that warranty applied. They scheduled the repair promptly. The original installer is still with Dominion and came to do the repair. We are very satisfied and appreciate Dominion's quick and courteous response. The original installation was just as well performed when it was done in 2004. Great experience. We would use them again and recommend them to others.

We had a great experience meeting with the initial dominion team. Christian is wonderful to work with. He and Keena made our experience enjoyable. The installation team was friendly and professional. The quality of work is outstanding.

Everything went very well from our visit to the showroom, purchasing the countertops, templating and installing the countertops. The only "hitch" was the stone we choose was out of stock at their supplier. We had to wait over 1 month for to be shipped here from Israel on a ship. Installation took under 2 hours -- we only had perimeter countertops with no backsplash and did not involve a cooktop or oven (just a sink). As Angie List member we got a hug, deep sink for free!

They're very good, I can't even see the seams. You can't even tell where one section started or stopped. It looks seamless! They did a fabulous job! I would absolutely use them again in the future if I needed to. If I needed a fabricator, I would go to them.

My interaction with them was very good. My experience with them was excellent. It was a personal test, the guy who was running the company was also out here working at it. They just did a really good work.

We used Dominion through our General Contractor so we did not receive the pricing details. Dominion provided a smooth, professional experience from showroom to installation. Dominion had a good amount of product in their facility for us to look through to select our granite. It was not the overwhelming hundreds of slabs that you find in the warehouses of granite suppliers, but a nice sampling of various colors and grades. The fellow in the showroom was very helpful in helping us match granite with the cabinets and colors of our baths. The technician who came on-site to measure was quick, efficient, and professional. The installers were courteous, on-time, and installed the new countertops quickly and without marring the newly painted walls, which was quite an accomplishment considering what a close fit the counter was to the walls. We are very happy with the end result - beautiful granite counters in our bathrooms - and pleased with the whole process.

A great experience, they were very quick and responsive with all questions and issues. We did not take advantage of all the support they offered, but they had a lot of great tools and support. It is not cheap, but seems that's the case with any of these services, so they were in the ballpark of the others and not as high as some.

We used them three time now because we really liked them. They really work with you and they are very responsive. What I like about them is the communication.

Fantastic, measurer was on time, thorough and installers worked hard to make sure seats did not show and the counters fit perfectly. Cleaned up after themselves.

It looks great. Dominion Granite gave us two names of granite establishments to pick out our granite and we had great luck (with the help of a fine salesperson) finding the style of granite we were looking for at a lower price than anticipated. Dominion Granite came and measured the kitchen which has many odd angles and discussed how to handle the odd angles. They returned and installed the granite in a two day period as we were told since final measurements for the back splash require the counter tops to be installed. The sink was completed the same day so even without the back splash our kitchen was functional the same day. The back splashes were installed a week later to accommodate my husband's work schedule. DG was very diligent in making sure the day/time for the installations were correct which was really helpful as I got my husband's work schedule mixed up at first and needed to adjust the scheduling. The final look is great and just what we hoped for when we started the process.

The service was great. My husband was pleased with the service. They came to do the work quickly.

The Dominion staff were great to work with. I made an appointment and their staff spent an hour with me searching through their large supply of remnant pieces. Even though I was only purchasing remnants, they treated me like I was spending $5k on kitchen slabs. They were very patient with my indecision and didn't try to pressure me. They came out to the house to measure and a week later returned to install the granite. Overall, it was a stress-free experience. The granite looks perfect in my bathrooms.

What can I say? They are terrific. Uber professional, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. You can TRUST them, they are really great at what they do. Excellent measuring visit, excellent explanations that answered all of our questions, and very good installation team. We WILL use them again on an upcoming kitchen remodel. Well Done.

From the moment we stepped into the store room until the installation, the level of professionalism and skill was outstanding. The salesman was knowledgeable and willing to spend time with us on a sale that was, by their standards, I'm sure quite small. The templater and installers were equally professional. The only quibbles we had (and we're working them out the them) are that I had requested the larger sinks, but we only got the standard. Also, there was a $300 charge for removing the existing vanity. It's fair, but nobody mentioned it to us prior. We would have made other arrangements with our contractor had we known about it. Overall though, they do very good work and were a pleasant change from other granite and marble companies we've used.
