It didn't. I left the A rating back in May of 2013. I have continued to utilize Rick throughout the years. However, this most recent repair, he identified the issue, we agreed to a price, I gave him 60% of the money upfront. He did about 20% of the work. It's been 5 weeks. I texted him 3 times a week, each week. He'd say, I'll be there Monday, Saturday, Tuesday. The last three follow ups, last week, crickets. I called him out in a text this evening, about having paid him a portion of the money and after 14 years, he tells me he's just too busy and I need to get someone else. Absolutely no loyalty, his text was beyond rude and frankly, I'm hurt as I thought we were friends. You can only imagine how he might treat you as a potential new customer.

Horrible. I had used Dive-in pools twice before and didn't seem to bad . . everything went fine. This time was a mess. I called him to open my pool. He took the cover off and de-winterized it. That's about it. He was supposed to power wash the deck and set the pool up. After I noticed that the pool wasn't clearing up, I checked everything. Rick Lang and Dive-In didn't even put the filter in (no wonder it's cloudy). Also said I was missing a clamp. No idea where this is considering he's the only person that's ever opened and closed my pool, so he must have it somewhere. I don't even touch the opening/closing equipment except to wheel it out in the closed and sealed container it's in. He basically just took money from my terminally ill mother (Stage IV pancreatic cancer) and left while I wasn't there. I've been trying to get in touch with him for weeks now. He keeps saying he'll come and never shows up.

Richard Lang at Dive In Pools has been my trusted pool professional for over 4 years. He not only provides great service but is wonderful in answering my questions and concerns. I am a do-it-myself pool owner, hence I do the weekly maintenance throughout the season. But I trust Richard for my openings, closings, and winter pump downs. Richard has also replaced my pump and booster pump, repaired tile, completely replaced caulking around the pool deck, fixed leaks, helped me troubleshoot suspected leaks, and other projects I probably can't recall. His tips are spot on and have allowed me to grow my pool acumen and feel confident in my ability to maintain my pool. My pool is 30+ years old and I trust Richard completely to advise me on issues that arise. He's the first to suggest partial or lower cost solutions that most other pool companies would jump to a full replacement mentality. For pool owners that are very involved, Richard is happy to describe the work he's doing and let you observe as an owner and customer. For pool owners that have no clue how to maintain a pool (i.e you just want to swim!), rest assured Richard will have your best interest in mind. His rates are by far are the best and he'll beat the cookie cutter pool company quote any day. He's also very honest on what jobs he is able to perform and what is outside his scope. If you value a relationship with your professional tradesmen and want to support small business owners, you'll enjoy the relationship you'll form with Richard. He's a hard worker and wants to get things right. I never hesitate to refer Richard to other acquaintances looking for a pool professional. You'll be in good hands if you hire Richard for all your pool maintenance needs!

For both the opening and closing, the service was completed on the date scheduled to more than our satisfaction. Several neighbors continue to use Dive in Pools in the Great Falls area.

I have used Rick and his crew for 8 or 9 years now. I have recommended him to others throughout the years who have also been very happy with his service. Throughout the years, Rick has replaced my pool cover, white washed the pool, fixed missing tiles, etc.

He is completely being dishonest and is giving me the run around, he won't answer the phone.
Description of Work: I paid them $350 to open my pool in May. He said he would come to open the pool in May. When I call them they hang up the phone or answer and say they can't speak with me now.
