Fair,,,some of the service people haven't learned to operate timers. Hopefully, this year they will have been taught. The timing equipment is ground level which makes it difficult for me to get down to switch them and then get back up again. No problem if ones young and agile.

Showed up when they said they would and no issues with the system.

They did the hunting down and fixed what I needed done (rain sensor). I was so impressed I just had them come back out on an annual contract. WORTH IT for my aging system.

I'm always very pleased with this company's services! I highly recommend them. They've provided wonderful service at reasonable cost for many, many years. You can always count on them.

I just realized recently while using Angie's List to find a HVAC contractor that I had never reviewed Creative Irrigation & Lighting. Creative installed my system over 8 years ago. The process was as smooth and professional as any contracting process has ever been, before or since. They provide basic maintenance (Spring and Fall) without fail, and when a repair is needed, which is rare, scheduling and follow up are great. I had my controller upgraded to a Smart Toro Evolution and that has been a godsend. Office staff are always good! Can't rate them high enough.

Despite of the freezing temperature. Staff took his time to drain water from the sprinkler. He was polite and professional.

It was a good experience. It worked out great. They did what they said they were going to do and so far we haven't had any problems.

It worked out okay. They reset it up. There was some mix up on their end and they didn't come on that day. They came the following week after that. They were nice, they did talk to us. The workers were fine. There was no supervisor with them and I didn't get a followup call to check how the work had been done and if anything needed to be done. It was the workers who turned up and did the job, that was it.

The previous owner winterized the system without providing detail instructions on spring start up. I tried doing it myself to no success. Creative Irrigation came and determined that the my sprinkler valve connector was missing an O ring. They got the rainbird system working and inspected all the heads. Jennifer from their scheduling department also worked with me on a service date since I have a inflexible work schedule. That was much appreciated.

The individuals were professional and efficient.

At first the provider called at 12:30 to cancel a 1pm appoint due to rain - at that time my area was dry so I insisted on the punctuality- the manager (Melena?) got very aggressive and accusatory. Then she returned the call a few minutes later to tell me the guy was on his way- the agreement was that he would inspect and return to provide estimate and complete the service at a later date When the service guy showed up it had started drizzling a bit, he entered the property without any permission. Then he spent about 15 minutes pointing out broken sprinklers and set up a timer that was already programmed. After 15 minutes he left with the assurance of the follow-up and providing estimates for the sprinklers to be fixed. After that I have never heard from this provider - no calls, no estimates, and no continuation/completion of the services as promised and agreed upon. The provider spent about 15 minutes and made charged $125 for the partial services performed. I truly do not wish to deal with this provider ever again and for their unreliability and retaliatory attitude, I would caution the consumers as well.

The two gentleman that performed the service were friendly and efficient. They walked the property with me and pointed out where I may want to correct damages to sprinkler heads in the spring. They flushed out all the sprinkler lines. I'm happy with the service provided and will be signing up for a contract in the spring.

I used to have them for years but their prices kept going up so we had to cancel. They are the ones who installed the irrigation system in 2003. We decided to go back with them. They do a good job. They are still expensive but you get what you pay for. You rather be safe than sorry, that's why I'm back with them. They did install and do take care of the system. We had them come in and repair our damaged pipe from the previous guy. Because he didn't turn off the water right, it caused vibrations that cracked a line. I have a contract with them. They'll come out every fall and spring.

Mike from Creative first evaluated our yard then provided an estimate . This was for an ultimate sprinkler system. I wanted to know how much the cost was so I had an idea. Thw cost was too high for much budget. So Mike an I discussed how we could lower the cost to around $5,000. He said he will take a second look. Then he provide me with an estimate I could live with. After i gave my down payment,they started work last TYuesday, Ocotber 13and finished the next day. Mike came back Thusday and gave a very thotough briefing on how the sprinkl er system works. They did an excellent job.

We had problems getting booked due to the weather. However, once they were here they were great. The office was responsive to all my questions...they did a professional installation on both the sprinklers and lights. I would highly recommend the company. They were fair in their pricing..... I am very pleased with this company.

UPDATE OF REVIEW: After posting the below review, the company followed up, sent someone out to examine the browning bushes, checked the system, changed the settings and walked through the new settings with me. The company was extremely professional in its follow up and communication. I received a call to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I also received a call to schedule a lighting estimate. While I wish this had been the case from the outset, I must say they bent over backwards to try and make up for the initial experience. New ratings reflect a clean slate - assuming the below never happened. Very disappointing experience. We needed a new irrigation company as our old one - which we were happy with - stopped serving DC. Seasonal opening up a 4 zone system and closing down before winter. Found Creative on Angie?s List. They were more expensive than my old company, but were highly rated. I told Creative we were interested in having a new company take over the irrigation contract and given they did lighting as well, asked if they could propose an outside lighting solution for our garden. We booked an appointment with a 2 hour window. Took time off to be home for it. At two hours in, I got a call from their office saying they would be another 40 minutes late. Two guys showed up, spent 15 minutes, and were on their way out the gate when I stopped them. It was their first time here. How had they set the irrigation timer? How many days? For how long? Did anything need to be fixed after the winter? Every year with our other irrigation company, they asked about how much sun our lawn, trees, shrubs were getting and recommended how many days & how much water we should set our system for etc. Nothing from these guys. They hadn?t even turned the system ?on? and assumed I would do it. Turning the switch on is obviously easy to do - but only if someone tells you it hasn?t been done yet!! They told me they set it to the same standard as everyone?s house. Now my front shrubs are starting to turn brown. I have left phone messages for the company and had no response back. Lighting proposal??? Never heard back. I assume Creative?s business is thriving - they are certainly not showing any interest in attracting new customers.

We met with Mike, the Operations Manager to go over design and install plan for property for both irrigation and lighting. We were not sure that we could afford both right now, but Mike came back with a very good price, beating the others, and with already positive Angie's reviews we chose them. He was very professional and we felt in good hands from the start. We were not disappointed. The job was done well, and went generally very smoothly. We had to have a pump installed shortly after install to help with the water pressure on this 100 year old house, but Brian the owner was able to get this upgrade at his cost only. The owner and Mike were both present with the work crew for most of the first day to make sure everything went well. The Office Manager Melania was very responsive, kind, and professional as she worked to develop the contract and to coordinate the work. It's really important to us to develop positive long term business relationships, built upon professionalism, trust and excellent workmanship. We think Creative Irrigation & Lighting will be one of those companies that we can strongly recommend to others in the future. We also just referred them to a neighbor needing an irrigation system for their house. Thanks again to the whole team! Tom & Robert

It worked out very well. They were very professional. It was well performed and it was a reasonable price. What stood out about them is their professionalism. The service was excellent. They were well prepared and I was very satisfied.

I found them on Angie’s List. The cost of the entire job will come to around $6,200. They gave me a professional opinion with separate bids for the repair and a combined bid for the repair and installing the irrigation system. Their price is competitive.

Since my guy showed up, I cancelled the work, so no work was done. However, I will say that the company was super responsive and followed up several times to attempt to schedule, etc. I think this time was the last time I will use my regular guy, and I will definitely give Creative Irrigation a try this Spring to turn my sprinklers back on.

They have done a fine job. They have done maintenance for us for years. They do spring maintenance and fall maintenance.

The service they have provided us was very good. They come out every spring and every autumn. The quality of work was excellent. I have no problems with them. I’d recommend them to anybody. I don’t even call them. They call me and tell me that it is time to come out. They were on time.
