Description of Work: Velascaping rescued me after a horrible experience with another landscaper. They came in and prepared the planting bed, got the plants that were on my plant list (approx. 105 plants, give or take), mulched the area and will now be the company we use for all our lawn and plant maintenance needs. They also picked up river stone and built fantastic walls in the front of our yard, they built a wall in 2 circles around our trees and 2 rectangular walls in the front of our flower beds. The man who does this is amazing and the walls look awesome.

+ 1 moreI live in Arlington, VA, and contracted Vela Landscaping to do a huge amount of clearing of brush. The Vela Landscaping crew will show up early and work the entire time, clearing out half of the perimeter of my property overgrown with weeds, trees, thorny bushes, etc and then leveling the land with top soil, hay and seed. They must have used some awesome seed, too, because from the time they planted the seed in November, that grass just grew and grew! The amount of money we had to spend is half of what all the other estimates we got, too! Very nice and friendly guys as well.
Description of Work: They cleared brush that surrounded my entire yard (we had not kept up with brush removal for many many years, I am embarrassed to say!), provided new stones for borders, unloaded many truck fulls of good soil to level our yard and provide for good drainage and erosion, buried drainage pipe, planted grass seed and hay.

+ -1 moreThey were punctual and responsible. The garden box is better than I anticipated. I did have a small problem with the design of the box in the end, I discussed this with Oscar (the owner) and he agreed and was able to fix the issue.
Description of Work: Vela cleared some brush out of our yard for us to be able to install a fence. They also built a garden box for me and came back and painted the fence.
