Susan Sarcone

Our house sold for the price we wanted in about a week. It doesn't get much better than that in this rough real estate market. I'm so glad we hired Susan because the advice she gave us and her predictions turned out to be right on the mark. I interviewed 4 real estate agents. Susan was the third agent I interviewed. Susan's prediction about the maximum price I could expect to get for the house was consistent with what other agents said but Susan also realistically assessed what improvements to our home would be needed to get that price. She also warned us about things that could go wrong. It was immediately clear to me that Susan was very honest. She didn't just tell me what she thought I wanted to hear and doesn't spin things. She is genuine. It was also nice that she appreciated old houses and knew how to go about marketing our house from that angle. She is softspoken, smart and saavy - an altogether pleasant and professional agent. We had some remodelling to do in order to get the price we wanted and Susan recommended a wonderful father and son construction team DNS total construction (Sang and David Lee, I will write a review for them soon, too, because they were also fantastic.) Susan and the Lees gave us great advice so we didn't spend money on issues that wouldn't really effect the price. We really got a great value and a good return for the money spent. Susan has an artistic eye for interior design and loaned us stuff for staging. We needed a bit more decoration but, luckily, Susan knew a stager who was very inexpensive so we saved a bunch of money in that respect also. If she wanted to, I think Susan could be successful as a stager herself - she really has good taste and can visualize how things will look. Our open house event was very well attended although the weather was rainy. I highly recommend Susan. :0)
