I did a competitive set of estimates from 7 companies. When scheduling they were responsive to my schedule. When they showed up for the estimate, they actually showed up…on time, they were courteous, listened to my concerns, did not try to up sell me, and did not repeatedly call me back while I was trying to make up my mind as to which company I would decide on…and they gave me the best price estimate. For actual work…again, they showed up on time, were courteous, and worked with us. They were reasonably quiet too. For the days they were here they cleaned up each day, so other than the progress in the work you wouldn’t have known they were there. I am very detail oriented and typically dread having to address the punch list. The reality is there was little for me to mention, most of what I did mention (which was very little) was already on his list and everything was done perfectly before they left. I didn’t feel I had to haggle to get the quality of the work I was paying for…and expected. The work is perfect and my home looks outstanding. These guys are gold. I will skip competitive estimates for painting in the future and go directly to them. If every contractor did work this way our lives would all be easier.

Very good prep work and painting was pretty good. Could have paid a little more attention to detail and there was more paint on our patio, carport floor, and plants than I thought reasonable. But price was very good.

We had mixed results with Potts. They showed up on the wrong times/dates for the initial quote, which seemed to be a minor miscommunication on their end. On the day of service, they arrived on time and quickly started working. Of the two painters working on our house, one was talented, but the other was extremely sloppy (didn't remove outlet covers, left painters tape on when he left, unclean lines around trim). I had to repaint the trim and scrape paint after they left, and the company never followed up to check on their work. However, my biggest complaint with this company is that they sent the invoice shortly after providing service with no due date. A week after sending the invoice we received an email threatening to send us to collections for failing to pay. If they needed payment quickly they should have specified upfront rather than after-the-fact threats.

They responded to my request for a quote quickly, we made a down payment, there was an issue with scheduling. I spoke to Mr. Potts he quickly rectified the scheduling issue. Took care of the work within the same week of speaking with him. When I returned to my property the work they did was outstanding. They did a great job and Mr. Potts does an amazing job making sure everything is taken care of.

Estimate done after home visit. All areas inspected and discussed. Written estimate emailed same day and U.S.P.O. mailed. Date booked. Third of job paid before job started. Team of three. Potts brother's actually supervise and inspect sight. A Foreman is part of the 3 person team. Job was completed in 2 and a half days. Work areas cleaned at end of day. Update and communication throughout the project.

Excellent job. Arrived in time and finished the job in 2 1/2 days. Was so appreciative with a job well done.

Everything went well. They have better ideas than I do.

Messy work, inadequately masked with paint on hinges, poorly reinstalled doors on cabinets (corrected by exterior crew) paint on recessed lights, countertops. Poor/no prep of shelving with peeling of new top layer. Would not recommend.

We interviewed a number of painting companies and ultimately decided on Potts Brothers, based on reputation, professionalism during the selection process, and price. They met all our expectations. The painters actually were able to come a few days early and completed the project in less than a day, which included replacing rotted pieces of door frames and front porch side rails and painting our house exterior. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Potts did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house at a very reasonable price, including some trim repair work that needed to be done. Great people to work with. Will definitely use again!

Very poorly While they responded on the same day, when i made an appointment for an estimate for noon (verified verbally twice) No one arrived until over they were an hour late. No phone call or text message saying "I'm running late" or "can we move the appointment to later in the day?" Then when the man arrived he tried to tell me that he had been told a different time. So, if they had gotten the contract, would they show up late or do the wrong thing and then say "that's not what I was told"? They didn't even get to the estimate stage

Jesse Potts gave me a prompt quote to power wash the side of our house. His employee showed up on the scheduled day and completed the job with no issues. It looks great!

Excellent work competitively priced. Deck was powered-washed, affected areas sanded, rotten planks replaced then two coats of high-quality stain. The deck looks great!

They arrived on time. But they didn’t chip away all the old paint and just painted over it. Also they didn’t repair a part of wood rot which was suppose to be removed and in the estimate. They didn’t come at the end of the day to see how the job went but after a phone call they patched the wood that was suppose to be replaced. And came unannounced to do the “fix”.

Estimate phase was fine, he was nice. There price wasn’t the lowest but I though we were getting quality painters. I should have asked more questions about the crew they use, Guys came in and took over my house, I mean trash, loud music, loud conversation, totally unprofessional. Then they didn’t show up the next day bc there was an accident on 95. The worst part is the quality is terrible, they didn’t tape anything so there’s uneven lines and they got paint everywhere. I’m still finding spots of paint on my granite, floors, etc. then the guys shows up at 8 the next morning wanting the rest of the money, doesn’t ask are you happy, can I inspect what they did, just here I am pay me. Ugh never again.

This is not the first time Potts Bros has done work for us. Jesse Potts responded the day after I emailed asking for an estimate. We set up a time for him to come to our house to see what we wanted done. He arrived on time on the scheduled day. I got the written estimate within a few days - normally they send it the next day but this time took longer due to it being Memorial Day weekend. We scheduled a date for the work to start. Jesse showed up at 9:30a in the appointed day, got the paint selections and agreed to paint another bedroom that was not part of the original SOW. The crew showed up very soon after and quickly got to work prepping the exterior porch for painting, laying down drop clothes, removing picture hangers from the walls and patching areas as needed, and covering/ moving furniture away from walls to be painted and taping trim work. One of the crew went to pick up the paint. I reimburse Potts Bros for their cost - no mark-up. Everyone of the crew members was very polite and extremely helpful. They are thorough and conscientious workers. After the job was complete the crew chief asked me to walk everything with him, which I did. Then they moved the furniture back and cleaned up. You would not have known they’d been there except we had beautiful newly painted rooms and front porch. Love these guys.

The work they did was incomplete. They didn’t paint one of the door frames in my bedroom. Upon realizing this I called The company. The person I had been dealing with all along told me he could give me $50 and I could just paint it myself! I couldn’t believe what I had just heard! If I had wanted to paint myself I wouldn’t have bothered hiring anyone. Jessie who is one of the Potts brothers is incredibly unprofessional and lacks customer service skills. Their Angie’s list 5% off coupon is also something they just post because they didn’t give me 5% off. I mentioned the coupon and instead of taking off the full amount which was around $70 he took off $50.

This is the first time we've use Potts Brothers and we plan to use them again. They were competitively priced. Working with the office was very easy during the proposal and scheduling process. The crew, Freddy and Guillermo were very pleasant and did great work. Everything was thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. They put in a long day to finish everything in 1 day, which was much appreciated.

This is the second time we've used Potts Brothers to do a bathroom renovation. A few years ago we had them reno the master bath and this time we hired them to do the kids bathroom and a half bath. In the half bath, they were able to skim and patch the bumpy drywall and make it look like new. They also installed a new vanity and toilet, and we finally have a bathroom on the main level that we are not embarrassed for our guests to use. The kids bathroom was completely ripped down to its studs. It was fun choosing new tiles, vanity, tub, toilet, fixtures and paint colors. Potts installed everything for us and the work was finished on time and according to schedule. They do quality work and the crew had great craftsmanship. Everything looks fabulous and we are very happy. After the project was over, we realized the door wouldn't close over our very thick bath mat. Bob (the owner) sent someone to fix that for us that week. We found the company to be honest and provide excellent work at very competitive prices. We would highly recommend Potts Brothers and would certainly choose them again for our next project.

Project was completed on schedule and within the agreed upon price. There where some issues with the final textured finishes that caused the contractor to return twice to correct, which they did willingly and efficiently. Just would have been nice to finish it correctly the first time out.

I called and left a message about the job I needed to have done and I got a call back the same day. One of the Potts Brothers (sorry I don't remember which brother) came out 2 days later to look at the area to be painted - we had to work through the renovation work being done in my house to see the rooms involved. The company sent me a written estimate that covered paint, prepping, painting which I thought was reasonable. I asked them to come out in a couple of weeks when I thought the other work in my house would be finished (it wasn't). The team of painters arrived when they said they would, they moved furniture and "stuff" out of the way and completed most of the job in one day. When they came back the next day to finish up, I asked them if they could also repaint a small bathroom that had water damage to the ceiling and wall as a result of the renovation work and they were able to paint that the same day for an additional (reasonable) charge. All of the work looks great. The painting crew was very polite and they did a great job cleaning up.

It was terrible. Uneven coverage of the painting. They blamed me for the job that wasn't done correctly.

Before I start, let it be known I rarely post reviews I NEVER POST NEGATIVE. I hate to complain. But I just want to share my personal experience with Potts Brother LLC, I'm sure some people somewhere have had greats experience and may think the world of them, unfortunately, that was not my experience. Potts Brothers, in my opinion, suffer some horrible communication and customer service skills We were hiring them to take care of mold and repair drywall. The never tell us what time they were coming my wife has to call and ask what they will be there. They say 9:00- 9:30. Ok got it! The day comes I'm home waiting, I'm on the phone with my wife I tell her that I think I hear the doorbell, I go downstairs open the door nobody's there. I look out the back window see a gentleman in getting in his car, I lift up the window to try to get the guy's attention still not sure it's him or not. I go downstairs open the basement and the guy's gone. At the time I'm still not sure if that's him, nobody called and said hey I'm at the front door or I'm at the back door or anything like that. So we called the only number we had which always goes to voicemail,"Hey not sure if that was you but, we're here" no response. I call back Monday get the expected voicemail, no response. So I call back Tuesday, someone picks up and HANGS UP THE PHONE, YES. So I said this cant be real I call right back, someone picks up, and proceeds to argue with me about how they're not coming back out because I should have been there. Their lack of communication is costing them money, we had some more work for them to do, my porch steps are jacked up, there are other things in the house we wanted to be fixed. What I assume happen was, that he came knocked on my basement door, then came around front rang the front doorbell once and left. I was waiting for them, for some reason I did not hear him. All he had to do was call and say "hey Mr. Humphrey I'm outside". We had no contact information for him, he had ours. Communication and bad customer service got them this review, loss of work, loss future work, and loss of recommendations. Again I'm not to assuming that my experience is the same that everyone else will have. This is how my family and I were treated.
