The exterior painting went well, despite a few instances of spilled paint on the driveway and walkways/porch. Overall I was pleased. The interior painting resulted in paint splatters EVERYWHERE - walls, furniture, counters - even though there were dropcloths placed throughout the house. When I invited a company rep in to see some of the most egregious drips on the walls, she suggested I get some of the wall paint and fix them myself. Hmm. The top edge of my crown moulding throughout the downstairs has ceiling paint slopped all over it. The garage was the kicker - the crew took down my ELFA shelving, painted, then put the shelving back up incorrectly, damaging the shelving (if you know ELFA, you know how hard it is to bend the individual pieces; they managed nicely.) While putting it up incorrectly the crew scratched the newly painted wall. While they did leave me a 5 gallon, unopened container of ceiling paint, they did not leave me any touch up paint for the walls of the garage. They did come back and painted over the damage, took the 5 gallon bucket with them, but still did not leave any of the wall color. Nice people, really disappointing work and follow-up I would not use them again or recommend them.

Came on time and finished as promised had a small issue with color on the fence stain. Overall very good

It went very well. The gentlemen who does the estimate was on time, the painters were on time, and everything went just perfectly. I can't recommend the Potts Bros. any more highly, but if I could, I would.

The job went well but took a little longer than they anticipated, they estimated this as a 1-day job but in actuality it took 2-1/2 day's. I felt from the beginning that it was a 2-3 day job but was assured that it would be completed in one.

The company responded quickly to my request for an estimate and I had one within days. I received the estimate the same day that Robert came out to evaluate the house. The estimate was very detailed and listed exactly what work was to be done. As soon as we accepted we were put on the schedule. The crew arrived early; worked steadily for 2 days and cleaned up after themselves. They were professional and polite and- most importantly- the paint job was EXCELLENT! Our house looks great.

From the meeting to provide an estimate to the work itself, Potts was excellent. Punctual, professional, and very nice. The work is first rate. Will definitely use them again.

The Pott's brother who did the quote was quite professional and easy to get along with. What he promised he delivered on. His painters were very good and neat. They cleaned up at the end of the day and were back the next morning bright and early ready to go. They covered everything not to be painted so that no spatter got where it shouldn't. All in all, we were very pleased and would recommend them highly to anyone.

From the first phone call to final payment, Potts Bros. has been a joy to have paint my home. The front office is first-rate in answering my questions and getting the estimate to me. Their workers are true craftsmen and not only did a flawless prep and high-class paint job, but they cleaned up after themselves in a manner that exceeded my expectations. Use them and you'll never look for another paint contractor. Seriously.

Bob and his team were outstanding! I am a first-time home owner and dealing with contractors for the first time was quite overwhelming; however, my experience with Potts Brothers was excellent and basically stress-free. Bob always answered my questions and Darlene took time out (on a couple of occasions) to personally help me with my paint and cabinet selections. Each task was completed in excellence and I'd highly recommend this company to anyone.

The entire Potts brothers company was friendly and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves every day. They were neat and tidy in their work. Did not leave any messes to be cleaned up. The paint job was perfect. They came when they said they'd come. It was a great overall experience and I would recommend them to all my friends. Their price was extremely reasonable!

One of the Potts brothers responded immediately to my request for an estimate. The price was quite fair, and I knew from previous experience, they would do an excellent job. I was trying to sell a property, and they put me on the top of the list for scheduling as soon as possible. When they had a cancellation, they called me right away to see if the time was good to start on my job. I had to adjust the work at the last minute, and again Mr Potts easily accommodated the change, without any delay in the schedule. The painting crew arrived on time, with Mr Potts, who gave them instructions and consulted with me on the type of paint, which would have to cover some dark walls. We agreed on a higher quality paint that would allow them to finish the job in one day, without additional cost to me. The crew was very conscientious, covered the floors, and cleaned up after the job so that you would never know 6 painters had been there all day. They asked for my direction where they were unsure of details, such as did I want them to paint the outlet covers, which always makes me comfortable that they are trying to fully meet my expectations. The crew leader was very easy to work with and showed me the results in each room to ensure I was happy. Where I pointed out a couple areas that needed touch up, he quickly had them corrected. The power washing made a fabulous improvement in the appearance and value of my deck. The technician arrived on time and got right to work. He thoroughly cleaned the deck, then returned to apply the sealer. After, he cleaned up and returned items that had to be moved. The office staff is very friendly and easy to work with. We completed all the transactions over email, which is very convenient and a time-saver.

We asked Potts to remove our old gutters and prepare the wood underneath for new gutters (installed by another contractor). Potts was very punctual and thorough in doing the estimate. One of the owners did it, and he was very knowledgeable, understood our requirements, and was confident they would do a high-quality job. He also suggested we have the foundation painted so the whole house looked fresh and clean, and he was right. Painting just part of the house would have accentuated the part without fresh paint. First they power washed the house; the technician did a careful job, including moving things out of the way and then putting them back in place. Then the painting crew arrived right on time and did an excellent job. They expertly repaired rotted wood and blended it in seamlessly. They painted very carefully and left no mess behind. The crew leader insisted I check their work, and walked me around, pointing out what they did, including where they repaired the wood so I would understand what the invoice would include. He also left me some paint for touching up in the future. The owner called after to ensure I was satisfied. The office staff is super friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. We did all the paper work over email. I was so happy with their work I quickly hired them to paint my rental property as well.

I was preparing my condo to put on the rental market and needed a complete interior paint job. Bob Potts met me on a Saturday to give me an estimate and said they could begin work the following Monday. This was the weekend of Hurricane Sandy, yet he had a crew willing to work through the storm. I told them to stay only as long as they felt safe but they stayed and completed the work in the promised 2 days. They followed my instructions to the letter, were extremely careful with my very expensive carpeting and kitchen ceramic tile, and left the place perfectly clean. If it weren't for the new paint I wouldn't even have known they were there. I used them on the basis of work they had performed for my mother (exterior painting of house); she had used them based on the recommendation of one of her friends. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them!

The team was great! A few days after the end of the job, I thought some portions had not been painted at the roof level at both ends of the house, and I called to ask about that. Potts Bros.checked it out and assured me that the portions I thought should have been painted are aluminum and not wood. I was greatful that Potts Bros. responded so positively to my concern. I know that good paint was used and I believe that plenty of paint was used, but painters are good at keeping paint costs down. I think, though, that the price to have the job done was low enough that I wouldn't hesitate having the house's exterior painted again in, say, 5 years.

I contracted with Potts Brothers for exterior painting and wood trim replacement. I learned of the company through Angie's List, and took advantage of a coupon for list members. The estimate was very comprehensive and very reasonable, compared to other companies in the area. They were the low bidder by a couple hundred dollars (even without the coupon). The work was delayed by weather a few times, but the company was pretty good about letting me know the situation. The crew was well supervised and worked diligently. They noted active termite damage and worked around my having an exterminator come check it out. They left a clean work space at the end of each day. I was very happy with the work and will use them again.

Very good except for the caulking. I could not inspect until after they departed. When I inspected, I found the caulking to be substandard. If I had asked, I'm sure they would have returned to fix it, but I decided it would take me less time to do it myself rather meet with and show them the problem spots. It took me about an hour. I did bring it to their attention via email and they rebated me $15, a amount I consider to be low all things considered (the hassle to me and the hassle they avoided) . That said, I will include them In the future as one of the usual three estimates I always get. If I decide they are the best value for a future job (as they were for this job), I will be sure to emphasize good caulking and inspect before they depart.

Everything went smoothly. There were between 4 and 6 painters on site at all times. Generally I observed 5. They were all hard working, friendly professionals. They did a great job at a very reasonable price. All work was completed in about 2.5 days. I had 3 estimates for the work and Potts was by far the most reasonable for essentially the same job using the same brand of paint. The other estimates were both over $2100 higher. We would not hesitate to hire Potts Brothers again for painting. In fact, we expect to hire Potts Brothers to do some interior painting some time over the winter months.

They arrived promptly on the designated date. They worked quietly and quickly They also cleaned up when they were finished. Workers have been with the company for a long time and seem to take pride in their work. We will certainly have them do a further work we require....

Potts Brothers provided the most detailed quote for the job at a competitive price. They responded to specific requests in my e-mail sent via Angie's List. (Other companies forgot about my requests to look at some water-damaged wood trim in their quote processes!) Once I picked them, they were able to schedule me into an open slot the next day. I provided paint color details via e-mail, and Mr. Jesse Potts had the information with him when he arrived on time the next morning. I conducted a walkaround with Mr. Potts, and the crew arrived soon afterward. The crew replaced water-damaged boards as needed. They made proper decisions to not replace one suspect board while replacing one bad one that had been presumed to be OK. I conducted a walkaround with the crew supervisor at the end of the day. The paint looks great, and the grounds were cleaned up well. The job was completed the same day.

.We have used Potts Brothers in the past for exterior house painting. The performed excellently this time just as they did in the past. We had an issue with some of the interior painting this time but the quickly resolved it.

We were very pleased with the work. I received a very fair estimate for painting the aluminum siding and replacing rotted trim. Potts had a very large, professional work crew on site. After the house was power washed, the work crew carefully replaced rotted trim and applied a prime coat and a second coat of paint. What an overall great value and alternative to replacing the siding. I would highly recommend this firm.

We are very pleased with the Potts Brothers! Everyone I spoke with was very professional from the time I asked for an estimate to scheduling the work. The painters were very considerate and meticulous with their work. They left our house very clean. We will definitely use them again in the future. They made the entire process very easy.
