Description of Work: I have a three level townhouse that needed to be painted. Mr. Potts came out and provided a estimate within three days of my call. Estimate was reasonable and the best compared to other estimates that I had obtained. Also based on the ratings and comments provided by other Angie List customers I selected Potts Brothers. They were great in communicating with me regarding the original start date which was at the start of Hurricane Sandy, which was understandable. We agreed upon a mutual new start date. The showed up promptly and kept in communication while in route since they ran into unexpected traffic. They arrived Guilivoldo and his crew were great, they quickly reviewed the work that had to be done to ensure they were aware of all of the requirements for the job. They quickly began to move furniture and covering it up in preparation. The job not only consisted of painting but also major wall (plaster) board repair and replacement. They were very careful in moving the furniture and painting. They were a hard working crew over the next four days; from the time they arrive till they left at about 6 PM they did not waste anytime. They were neat and courtesy. When they finished you could not tell that the ceiling were previously damaged. Great JOB!!!! I highly recommend Potts Brothers and the crew that perform the work on my house -- its like new. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors and would use they again in the future without hesitation.

Description of Work: Attempted to get in touch with Potts Brothers for exterior painting/pressure washing work. Emailed several times, left phone message. No response at all. No call back, no email responses. Nothing. Update: The company contacted me and was very accomidating in setting up an appointment. Mr. Potts came out to provide an estimate on a Saturday. He actually arrived a little early and did a great job. Looked everything over and on Monday emailed us an estimate for the work. We have not decided to go foward yet but they are definitely in the running.

Description of Work: I was vert pleased with their work and professionalism. They came when they said they would and finished as promised. The work was done to my satisfaction. I have already recommended them to a friend who was equally as satisfied. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Interior painting of entire basement. Potts Brothers went above and beyond. They were organized, efficient , and were perfectionists with their work. Family run business, and it showed. Excellent customer service. I wanted to get the painting done before hosting a party. Potts Brothers was able to fit me in on short notice. I will use them for all my painting needs moving forward.

Jesse Potts was excellent in supervising and orchestrating the team for the interior work. Description of Work: We ended up using Potts Brothers in Springfield, VA to fix our drywall that needed replaced as well as painting our entire lower level. THEY WERE GREAT! Super friendly and did EXCELLENT work! A crew of 6 men came in and did all the work in one day. I totally thought that it would take them a couple of days. While they were here we also had them replace and paint some rotted boards on the window box on the front of our house. Once again, they gave us a great estimate and did the work there in about 4 hours! I will definitely use Potts Brothers again!!!

Description of Work: To date I have not received a reply to a request I sent through their website over three weeks ago now! This gives me a bad impression of the company so now I will not be interested in doing business with them. Even if they are busy, they should have the courtesy to respond.

Description of Work: The phone was answered promptly. Mr. Potts arrived to give an estimate which was emailed. When I accepted, the crew arrived and performed the power-washing quickly and neatly.

Description of Work: Potts Brothers did an excellent job, powerwashing and painting our large, outdoor, double deck. At first the estimate was $300 less, but immediately, the workers showed me one coat was not covering the stain beneath, so Mr. Potts took me aside and told me he would "charge me labor only" to give it a second coat. I was surprised that the company sent out four workers--they started in the morning and finished at 3 that afternoon. They cleaned up after themselves, and threw away all the empty paint cans, plastic coverings, etc. Although I feel that they are a bit pricey, it was worth it, because of the absolute top quality work. I would definitely hire them again to do any future powerwashing or painting I need to have done.
