+ -1 morePerfectly! I use Palmer Brothers periodically to sand and refinish my teak Victorian porch floor and stairs. I've used other companies in the past but not anymore. Palmer Brothers take pride in their work and perform on schedule and within budget every time. They are amazing and my porch is stunning thanks to them.

+ -1 moreDo get an estimate. Do be present when the workers arrive. Do check on them - in person. I did not need to correct anything, but if something had been off (like paint color) it would be caught before it went too far instead of at the end of the job. Overall - easy for me to deal with them, great job and results.
Description of Work: Contractor's estimator and the staff who perform the work are different. Both are excellent. The staff person who performed my work was as reliable as his boss. He arrived at an appropriate time, set up protective sheeting and drop cloths, brought in the supplies needed and carried out wall demolition, rebuilding, plaster finishing and painting. Work was at a steady pace and demonstrated diligence when asked questions. It was a 2-day job with a difficult wall repair included. The results are great. The wall is straight, flush the way it is supposed to be, nicely plastered and even with an excellent painted finish. Because of the plastic curtains, I don't have dust everywhere. I had this company do some work for me about 7 years ago and then lost track. I will definitely have them work for me again.
