Nancy Heisel is simply the best Realtor we'ver ever known. We are very grateful several of our friends recommended Nancy to us. Buying a home is a long, detailed process and we are so glad we had Nancy by our side. With her assistance, homebuying was a pleasant and wonderful experience. While we were stationed in Missouri, my husband received orders for an assignment in Northern Virginia. We lived in this area before, so we had some idea where we wanted to purchase a house. Before we even arrived for our house hunting trip, Nancy was in constant communication with us, answering all our questions and e-mailing us new listings on a daily basis. I found her website and MLS listings far superior (with more detailed information) than any of the other sites I had been visiting. Nancy treated us like we were old friends and often worked late at night to help us find the right house. Nancy is a professional, intelligent, and savvy realtor. More importantly, she really listens to a buyer and and provides great insights into the greater D.C. real estate market. She totally understood the needs of our military family. We planned a five day trip to Virginia to house hunt. Nancy was at our beck and call the entire time. Every morning she would arrive in her efficient Prius with printouts of the houses we were interested in visiting. Thanks to her website, we had narrowed down our choices and we were very picky on features we wanted in a house. Nancy was incredibly patient as we toured home after home. There were several homes we liked and made two offers that did not go through initially. But on day four, we found our dream home. It had all the characteristics we wanted, in the neighborhood we wanted AND it was under our budget! We knew it needed some repairs, but the money we save every month on our mortgage payments has enabled us to easily make the repairs. Nancy wrote up the offer that night and it was accepted the next morning. Her wisdom and experience greatly helped us in making the right offer. Looking for the house was the fun part. By the time we left Virginia, we had signed the contract to buy the house. Closing the deal, home inspection, getting a mortgage and eventually closing on the house took time. We were able to complete the deal while we were in Missouri. Nancy kept us in the loop while she handled everything in Virginia. She took the time to walk around with the home inspector while we listened in on the phone. She got the closing documents to us swiftly and even got us through a rough patch with our lender. This is service beyond what we've typically seen with most realtors. Without Nancy, we would have been lost! Nancy knows the business and held our hand through the process. We were pleased with the people she recommended. If we could only recommend one realtor, it would be Nancy Heisel. No other realtor can match her level of dedicated service.
