Very Professional job, I would hire them again. They did exactly what a asked for. Power washed outdoor masonry and trim, primed everything and put on final coat of paint.

Andreas and crew installed a porcelain tile floor, removed wallpaper, and painted 3 bedrooms. His price was very reasonable. The finished product was perfect. He selected a higher grade paint for the trim and doors. Beautiful and should be more durable. He had some great ideas for finishing the tile floor that resulted in a clean and professional look. Great Job! Appreciated his ideas and his eagerness to improve on my vision. Take advantage of his experience. Reliable, good communication. Can't say enough good things about him.

Initially during our first meeting to get a quote, Andreas was very nice and agreeable and we settled on a price a few hundred less than his quote which was more in line with the competing bids I received from other contractors. But I wanted to give him the business as he seemed very eager and he had good reviews on Home Advisor. I began to feel disappointment about 2 days into the work when his communication about project status and 'timing' began to diminish. Initially I thought that he would be on site and doing the work. However he would leave his workers on site and leave them unsupervised. Things went south the third or fourth day when I came home and tiling around the shower needed several corrections and were not done to the specifications I had described, nor to what I would have expected from a bathroom renovation expert. I asked that some of the sloppy tiling be re-done, but not without Andreas raising his voice to me and telling me that redoing his (sloppy) work would cost me more money than we had agreed upon as the job was "more difficult than he anticipated" (I am not a professional renovator and it is not my job to estimate what the cost of a job is. I expect someone like him to know what the scope of a project costs). From this point forward there was hardly any communication to me about the project. For example, I would've expected to have been asked what grout color to use in the shower, etc. and he went ahead and made this decision without consulting me. Early in the project he did consult me on the color of the floor grout, so why did he not ask the same question on the shower grout? Overall I was not impressed with the professionalism and workmanship expected from a professional bathroom renovator. Tile flooring is not level in spots where adjacent tiles meet with corners jutting up and some tiles installed that were damaged (from the store) to begin with. Floor grouting was done shallow in areas with "valleys" left between the tile. Mortar was applied unevenly with some floor tiles having a hollow sound underneath where it's evident there's uneven application. In some areas there was too much mortar used and it wasn't wiped away from between the tiles where it oozed up and it is visible and a different color from the surrounding grout. In the shower the tub was installed nicely, but the tiling on the wall has questionable finishing touches as the grout was applied hastily and as it dried it was sucked in towards the wall, in many spaces leaving a line or valley where it needs to be filled in. My home was left dirty each day with no attention to vacuuming the dust and debris created every day. There are many aspects of the project that I am happy with after I touched them up or modified to appear nicer, but overall I was disappointed in the experience with Metropolitan Paint and Home Improvement, I feel they left me an unfinished project, when I was expecting to be "wowed" at the end. Did a great job.

We are very satisfied with Andreas and his crew. He gave us a reasonable price; he asked us what brand of paint we wanted him to use. He expertly patched any nail holes or other damage on the walls before they painted. They did a good job painting and diligently cleaned up after they were done. We would hire Andreas again.

Andreas and his team did an incredible job for us, not once but twice. First we hired them to paint the entire interior of our house and install beadboard throughout our halls. They were courteous, respectful of our time and property, and did a great job for a great price. We liked them so much we hired them again, to update two bathrooms (install tile, bath, vanities, fixtures and new toilet). Once again they did a great job, always courteous and reliable, and the work was outstanding at a great value. I would recommend Andreas and his team without hesitation and hope we can use them again when it's time to update our kitchen!
