Description of Work: We had some initial communication and expectation issues we were able to work through. I got good value for the money. They patched and painted one additional wall in the hallway beyond what we had agreed to which was a nice touch and was appreciated.

Description of Work: Good work when the worker was available, he kept getting pulled off my job to finish another! I never got my full 40 hours because of the erratic schedule.

Description of Work: They painted rooms and hallways in my house. They did a terrific job. They were quick and detail oriented and were able to accomplish quite a lot in the allocated time. I'm sure it helped that i bought high quality paint that went on beautifully and was perfect with just one coat. Bought an angies list deal, and would very highly recommend them. I plan to use them again!

Description of Work: Stripped and painted wrought iron front railing and interior and exterior of large Bay window and seating platform. Had to strip off hard dried on tape left on windows from old days paint job. Intially had problem with them not coming on the initial appintment day but they came on time the next day. The painter worked nonstop until done and did pretty good job cleaning up bits of old paint and tape. Will be using again.

Description of Work: Money paid Angie's & likely transferred to Painters..............but NO SERVICE rendered. Granted there were weather problems.....then upon springtime attempt to reconnect, no longer available, so ultimately NO SERVICE EVER PROVIDED and I am out $500!!

Description of Work: They painted several areas inside and outside. The gentleman who came on the second day was particularly good. Not sure if this company is still in business, because it was impossible to reach them to arrange the second day's appointment. Thankfully, Angie's List was able to give me a contact number.

Description of Work: I was basically happy with the work. One thing though when they power washed the balcony in back they made a mess on my deck and siding but I didn't take them to task. I decided to clean up the mess myself. I would recommend them. They worked hard and quickly and finished the job (except for the cleanup in back). I will probably engage them for another job in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for a painter for a week. I was not happy with the customer service. People have to be willing to work with you. This group ignores you. I couldn't get a response out of them by phone or email. I am not willing to work with them

Description of Work: I have a brick & vinyl home, so they only painted the trim and garage door. There's dentil molding across the front of my house, so that was more time consuming to paint. The job took more time than the hours initially purchased, because of the detail trim. They came back the next day to finish at an extra charge. It's difficult to judge how much time is needed so you could end up paying for unused/unneeded time. I found it still worth it though. They did an excellent job for a most reasonable price.

Description of Work: I wanted to get the exterior trimming of my home. I called to see if the $399 special would apply to my situation and wanted someone to come out and give me an estimate. The young lady on the phone told me that she did not know if the owner was willing to drive out to my area, if he was not going to get the job. Well how would you know if you do not show up, because not only did I want the outside trimming done, I wanted some inside work as well. I think it is bad customer service to tell someone they live too far, when according to Angie's list, he is within a 25 mile radius of my home. Nevertheless, she assured me that the owner would return my call. It never happened, because she did not even ask for a phone number to return my phone call.

Description of Work: I contracted with Mendez Painting to paint the outside trim on my home. They did an excellent job, showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and made the trim around my house look like new. I would use them again and would recommend them to friends and relatives.

Description of Work: Power washed and painted the vinyl siding on the exterior of my entire house with 2 coats of paint. Paint not included in price. The painters that did my house, were excellent. The attention to detail and instructions were awesome. They both know what they are doing. Very cooperative and Mr. Mendez made sure everything was exactly to my satisfaction before final payment. I do recommend, that if you hire them to paint, make sure any paint or stains that are not FLAT, tell them to wait 3-4 days to put second coat, so, paint has time to shrink. or cure unless your just painting over same or similar color. I will use them again. I hope they do a good job on my son's house.

Description of Work: Complete exterior painting of all trim and rear concrete steps. Painted all places very high up on 32 ft ladder that I could not have done myself (and which needed painting). Looks very nice.
