Description of Work: They prepped and painted two interior rooms. They explained everything that needed to be done. One of the walls was more difficult than initially estimated, and they did the extra work needed at no extra charge. We were happy with the Mendez Painting and plan to use them again for some external painting we need.

Description of Work: I wanted to have my unfinished basement painted. The painters arrived promptly and finished the walls and floor in the agreed upon manner. I provided the paint. The painters were pleasant to work with and cleaned up very well. I had purchased a Big Deal and it worked out perfectly.

Description of Work: They painted the whole house and included the paint and primer.

Description of Work: Communication was a huge problem: one painter deferred to the other as the lead for communications and that painter was not strong in English comprehension. I would agree that Spanish is a huge part of our culture and that I should become fluid, but when I pay for a service I do not anticipate communication to be a problem. I feel that the job ran beyond the time allotted for reasons of communication. The gentlemen are good painters, clean in their work habits, and their best work was performed as part of the deal. The work peformed during the two additional hours that I paid to complete the job was rushed and not as good as the work performed during the 8 hour deal. I would have to think twice about inviting Diomedes back into my home.

Description of Work: Painted 2 rooms. They did a poor job, painting over light switches, not finishing the job, even though it was completely empty and they did not have to move a thing. The owner did not show up , to supervise as stated and then was argumentative with my concerns. Would not recommend.

Description of Work: They arrived on time, but there was no supervision by contractor until I requested that he monitor the work the next day. My special priced work was used up on the first day by taking down the wallpaper and I paid a per hour charge for the rest of the work which ran up the total cost. They did not protect my wall-to-wall carpeting well in taking down the wallpaper and got paint on the carpeting along the edges. I decided to finish up the job myself since it was running the price up and I was not a happy camper at the end of the third day. Live and learn - you get what you pay for....Anne Crowther

Description of Work: Painted our master bedroom and bathroom (including a different color in the tray ceiling), as well as two other bedrooms. Diomedes was VERY responsive and was able to schedule the job quickly (initially five days from call to next day). His crew of two did a solid but not perfect job (e.g. have noticed a few misses on the trim) and finished the same day.
