Description of Work: After Hurricane Sandy dropped a tree on our house we were finally at the end stages of repair this past summer. We shopped around for a land scape guy who could provide water removal suggestions as well as installation of a new patio. J Reynolds was right in the middle of the pack as far as estimates go. Additionally, Matt was very knowledgeable and confirmed many suggestions from previous quotes. The work slid one week due to weather. The team was able to knock out our job in about four days. My only regret is the reshaping of the yard did not go as well as we had hoped. Also, we had several square feet of sod installed. It would have been nice if they would have prepared the earth prior to laying the sod. I had to do a lot of work over the fall to get it root properly. We have hard clay and it should have been aerated or tilled prior to laying the sod. All and all, a great company with a good group of workers.

Description of Work: Matt Meyer came and determined we needed a different, more expensive service. He was clear and professional. We choose not to do that job at this time.

Description of Work: They contacted me on August 19 after the purchase of the big deal and came out on September 2 to see the scope of the work. They mentioned that they probably could not start work until November. Thanks.

Description of Work: Advertised landscape design. Received a spreasheet with number of plants, cost of moving some plants and cost of planting.

Description of Work: Purchased a deal to extend downspout and/or combine with other work. in addition to 2 downspouts, I also have ponding in the same area that needs to be addressed. I received a quote that included 2 separate jobs - one for the downspouts and one for the other drainage. The draining and downspouts would share the same drain line, but the costs reflected 2 distinctly separate efforts. Also, the cost for the drainage by itself was far more than a price quote for the entire job that I got from another company recommended by a neighbor.

Description of Work: Mr. Reynolds offered a "big deal" for landscape layout and assessment. He showed up on time and did the assessment and proposed the approach and got the information back to me within a couple of days. Overall, his approach was open and informed. I hope to engage him in future work.

Description of Work: He gave us a proposal if pricing missing. A hand sketch that he did on spot not an actual design plan. The sketch was just things that WE told he not actually any ideas or designs of his own. When we asked him to fix the quote to reflect all the pricing we never heard back from him

Description of Work: Jason came to my home and designed & estimated cost of drainage system and landscape design. He was courteous, punctual, professional, while warm, patient, and understandable.

Description of Work: Jason and his crew showed up on time as expected, per the phone call the day before, and began the job quickly with the demolition my old patio and wooden retaining wall. Once the demolition was complete they began to create new planting beds and filled them with beautiful flowering plants as described on the specification drawing. I am very happy that we opted for low voltage lighting throughout the beds because it looks great and it makes walking along the new patio much safer at night. Over the next two days they completed the new techo-bloc retaining wall and our techo-bloc patio. They match beautifully and look great!! We look forward to many years of enjoying our new back yard!
